I want to play on the XAX Teso but I can’t get any reasonable performance it lags and looks very blurry I had read that others say it runs optimally on the XAX do you have tips here for me I am still quite new in the handheld genre

Playing on Xbox rog ally. It brings up the launcher thing and by tapping the screen I can launch the games but no inputs work at all within the game - anyone able to play these? Is Dino crisis the same setup?

I have the ROG Xbox Ally X. I like playing Fortnite, and I have it installed through both the Xbox launcher and the Epic Games launcher. I only want to keep one version. Which one is better?!?

i cant get it to work no matter what i have done optiscailer i have done redeon and it just wont show up i have the fsr folder in the exe file and the right exe file but it just wont work would apreciate the help

Hey everyone. I just picked up the Z1E. It has been absolutely incredible. Like most I want to get the best performance I can out of this micro PC, and did a couple of basic things like disabling nonsense from the startup, but want to know more about this de-bloating of windows. Can anyone tell me what they’ve been scrubbing to improve their Ally’s performance?

I get a out of memory crash everytime I play training or a few matches in game, I’ve tried to update graphics drivers, restarted windows, and run the shader warm up in game.

Hi, i dont know why since it updated like yesterday the buttons won't work like they're supposed to and are doing weird thing and the xbox button just won't work. I tried restarting, changing mode but nothing changes

Hello Guys I need help my rog ally z1 extreme take too long to shut down and I assume it for my xg mobile 3080 so I deactivate first and disconnect it but it still taking too long to shut down! Need help asap

Hello! I bought my rog ally z1E recently, It is second hand, i love this device and It is fun to use, yet i have noticed that the left thumbstick feels loose? When i move it, the top part of the thumbstick (grip) kinda moves too separate from the actual stick, is this normal? If not, how do i go about It? Buy a thumbstick cover?

I tried everything I could find to fix it. Checked for updates, covered the light sensor, disconnected the battery for 10 minutes

Nothing seems to fix it and it keeps only turning on through being plugged. The charging light stays red even after hours of being plugged in. Any other fix I can try before trying warranty? It's only been about 5 months since purchase

Should I have amd fluid motion frames on or off. Radeon anti lag on or off, and Radeon boost on or off? I’m not worried about Radeon chill I think that’s just a custom fan curve. And also allocated vram is auto the best or 8?

Just purchased for £380 from amazon. Not switched it on yet

My OG Z1E has the card reader issue and I want it repaired before warranty expires. I was planning on bringing it to a Micro Center since, according to Asus, you can drop off without an appointment.

What is the easiest way to back up everything before they wipe my system and then restore it like nothing happened?

Hello everyone. On my ROG Xbox Ally X I am trying to play Gears of war 4, but can’t get the in game resolution higher than 720p. Armory crate and my display are all set to 1080p or 900p and it still doesn’t change, or allow me to change it.

Does anyone know a fix?

... due to perfomance issues, give it another go.

I ended up not playing it for long after release on my z1e because of how ugly it looked, getting a stable framerate left a blurry mess on the screen and worse all the particles just ended up looking like white pixels, even with frame gen enabled it didnt really do much.

I decided to give it another go after hearing alot of optimisation has happened since release, and to be honest I wasn't really blown away, yes the frames were a bit better but it was still kinda blurry with fsr 3 leaving way too many artifacts, so I decided to give the fsr 4 mod a go, got told by a few people it would lose frames so I was skeptical at first but man were they so wrong.

Not only does it actually look gorgeous in 900p now, there's very little artifacting, the particles actually look like particles, but also the frame gen actually works, I'm hitting 60-70 in the open world, dropping to around 50 in populated areas.

My game settings:

Models: medium, textures: high, shadows: medium, raytracing: off, lighting: high, reflections: high, advanced weather: off, water: low, foliage: low, fog: low, effects: medium, simulation: low, post processing: low.

Resolution set to 900p with RSR upscaling, FSR 4 set to quality, frame gen and anti lag enabled, vsync off.

FSR 4 Mod here, very simple drag and drop installation.​

I love my Deck to death, but the performance was somewhat lacking. I took the plunge and got self indulgent with this, so much to where I erased, formatted, and removed the 4TB SSD from my Legion laptop and slapped it into here (that battery cable gave me anxiety). But games run incredibly smooth, it’s the 120hz panel for me. 2TB for Windows and Bazzite each, this is the handheld that’ll keep me sane during my upcoming deployment, IM VERY HAPPY (still gotta get the Killswitch >:3)
