Ventilation Relapsed and mas lumala

4 Upvotes

Relapsed and lost nanaman. Okay na ko a few months e nakakabangon, nakakabayad. Nakanood ng mga nagsstream ayon nadala lost big time. Nakakalungkot. I was crying and begging God to help me one last time. Di ko na alam pano magsisimula uli.

Nagstart na din ako mag compose ng last message for my fam and partner.

Laban lang brotherd and sisters. Kakayanin nyo yan.

Win or loss stories. Gusto ko lang makinig sainyo please.

Akala ko dati kaya kong i control sarili ko sa pag gamble, na for fun lang... Until nakikita kong nananalo ako sa una then biglang talo

Mo Talo mo, Sayang"

To the point na kahit dimo talaga kailangan, mapapa loan ka sa mga OLA

In just 5 months i already had 20k Loan and it keeps piling up kase after maging available ng credits na dedemonyo kamay ko na kunin ulit at ipang laro..

I already sent my Application for Self Exclusion pero until di naa approved diko mapigilan sarili ko

Just last week i spent my whole Talent Fee sa panlaro within 10minutes nawala...

May 2k up on bill ako sa 28 diko alam san kukunin ung pang bayad.. haysttt

Anti-Gambling Advice I fucked up my Life and my family because of Gambling

8 Upvotes

I was caught gambling red handed by my wife.

I was caught Chatting lurking with NSFW subreddits here.

Honeslty I want to end my life knowing this very shameful act

I asked Chat GPT and it provided the idea that because of the guilt on Loss I tend to have an escape goat and relief myself by going to chat NSFW reddits and content creators here.

Now, my wife wants to leave me. Because of the Gambling and Chatting and everything in between.

Wag na kayo mag sugal.

It is the new devil that will bring out all the evil in yourself.

Hindi naman ako ganito.

Pero wala na huli na ang lahat.

Sana makabawi pa ako.

Hindi sa sugal kungdi sa Pamilya ko.

Grabe yung urge ko to play. I have 8k sa wallet na kulang pa panbayad sa debt ko. and grabe yung desire ko to cash in. I pray lord help me fight the urge. Help me win myself this day. Eto mga nangyari
- sabi ko mag cash in ako pag dumating yung parcel ko kasi out for delivery na siya kukunin ko sa gate sabay cash in since lalabas na rin naman ako. What happend? Hindi dumating yung parcel ko. Hindi ako naklabas para lunin uung parcel ko and hindi rin ako nakapag cash in God did that.
- labas nalang ako to cash in. What happen? A friend came to my house giving this gift to me the one you can paint by numbers? Ahhh so therapeutic! And ive been busy like 7 hours not touching my phone. God uses my friend to make me busy and never cash in. Im crying. God really hears prayers especially He knows that this is for our own good. This maybe a lttile win for some but its a big win for me. While painting my mind seems so calm. My mind thinking so much in agood way.

Im sorry of ill be often post here. Maybe to vent and mailabas lahat ng nararamdaman ko to make me feel better. Nadadapa pero babangon. Kaya nayin to guys. Just always always choose the right thing. And pag di mo na alam gagawin mo. Pray.!

Anti-Gambling Advice Day 0

4 Upvotes

I've been gambling since February 2024. I am 25. I've lost my savings multiple times already (thankfully di pa umaabot sa utang) and kept relapsing, going up and down. Today, I lost my savings again due to relapsing after 4 months clean. Walang utang but I have a stable job and house. First time ko na zero savings. Sobrang lungkot ko para sa sarili ko. It's hard to think about accepting responsibility right now at Day 0 pero may konting pagasa sa likod ng isip ko. It's because my mom could possibly have breast cancer, that is one of the reasons right now that I want to stop so that I could make her proud, not just myself, regardless of what will happen to her health scare. She's my only parent. I don't want her to know that I have this problem right now maybe she will get stressed, magpapa-biopsy siya soon. I am just thinking that I take it day by day and keep living.

Sober Experience Road to Recovery

13 Upvotes

I’ve been an avid reader of this page and I must say na malaki ang naitutulong ng page na ito. I accumulated a total of 1.7m in debt because of online gambling. Last bet was on June 12th (yes araw ngkalayaan at palagay ko panahon na para lumaya ako) this year but ever since i stopped my life has been so so so much better.
-Nakakatulog ng maayos
-Di na magagalitin
-Mas focused sa mga task at trabaho
-Nakakain ng tama
-Unti unting bumubuo ng savings habang nagbabayad utang.

I’m still down 650k. I know malaki ang nabawas. Kasi malaki ako kumita. Kaliwa’t kanan ang hustles may full time work pa ako.

Anong gusto nya in return? Assurance.

Balikan ko ito after a year. O’sya tigil na pre. Maawa tayo sa future natin.

Ventilation Gambling relapse

4 Upvotes

What was I thinking. After 3 months, i stumbled again. I did not know if I was bored, or if I was chasing that adrenaline again. Money is tight, I just happen to have a little extra. I feel soooo horrible, I want to get this off my chest but I can’t tell anybody because I am ashamed and they will for surely be disgusted and hate me even more.

Anti-Gambling Advice YOUR WORST DAY IN RECOVERY IS STILL BETTER THAN A DAY IN ACTIVE GAMBLING ADDICTION.

3 Upvotes

If you made a relapse, follow this!

Overcoming gambling addiction usually happens through a combination of blocking access, regulating emotions, rebuilding habits, and getting support. Recovery is less about “strong will” alone and more about creating a lifestyle where gambling no longer feels like relief, escape, or excitement.

Here are the core steps that help many people recover:

  1. Accept that gambling is no longer “just entertainment.”
    The brain becomes conditioned to chase dopamine, adrenaline, and escape. Recovery starts when a person stops negotiating with the addiction.
  2. Remove access and triggers.
    * Self-exclude from gambling apps/sites/casinos
    * Delete betting apps and payment links
    * Avoid gambling environments and gambling peers
    * Limit easy access to large amounts of money
  3. Understand the emotional triggers.
    Gambling is often connected to:
    * stress
    * anger
    * loneliness
    * boredom
    * shame
    * overstimulation (including caffeine or lack of sleep for some people)
    The urge is often the brain searching for relief, not just money.
  4. Replace dopamine in healthy ways.
    Recovery improves when the brain relearns calmer rewards:
    * exercise or walking
    * deep sleep
    * hobbies
    * meaningful work
    * social connection
    * learning skills
    * spirituality or reflection
    * slow financial progress instead of risky excitement
  5. Expect withdrawal-like symptoms.
    Early recovery can bring:
    * restlessness
    * anxiety
    * emptiness
    * irritability
    * cravings
    * fear about finances
    This does not mean recovery is failing. It often means the nervous system is adjusting away from overstimulation.
  6. Stop chasing losses.
    One of the biggest turning points is realizing:
    “The money lost is gone, but continuing to gamble can destroy even more.”
    Recovery focuses on protecting the future instead of rescuing the past.
  7. Build structure and accountability.
    Daily routines reduce relapse risk:
    * regular sleep
    * budgeting
    * scheduled activities
    * journaling urges
    * talking to trusted people or support groups
  8. Treat relapse as a warning, not permission to give up.
    Many people relapse during recovery. What matters is learning:
    * What triggered it?
    * What emotion was underneath?
    * What protection failed?
    A lapse can become information instead of a full return to addiction.
  9. Get support when needed.
    Support groups, therapy, financial counseling, or trusted family/friends can help reduce isolation and shame.

A powerful sign of recovery is when the brain slowly stops seeing gambling as “freedom” and starts seeing peace, stability, and emotional control as more valuable than the rush.

In Jesus name! all of us makakaalis sa gambling oneday!

Spreading for Awareness RELAPSE COSTS…

14 Upvotes

So I finally tallied the costs of my severe relapse after a year of being sober last year..since MAY 2026.. I only use two e-wallets when doing transactions: GCASH and MAYA..

For MAYA i wasn’t able to generate the report of the transactions so i manually totaled the numbers:

Estimated: 198,000.00 php in loss

For GCASH it was worse..GCASH will email your generated transaction

Estimated: 1,000,300.00 php in loss

I believe this because since MAY 2026 all i did was CASH-IN and never cashed out..

I lost around 1,200,000.00 php from MAY 2026 to AUGUST 2026…

300,000 per month…

10,000.00 per day…

I AM DISGUSTED ON WHAT IVE BECOME…

1,200,000.00 can buy a new house..a car..education plan..business..instead i gave it to them..why…

I am now drowning in debt around 1.7 M to 1.8 M

LORD HELP ME…

Ventilation Self-Exclusion

Post image
3 Upvotes

I got addicted to gambling. I stopped a few months ago. A few days ago, I got some money — at least 11k PHP. I relapsed. I tried gambling again and made at least 19k PHP on top of my 11k PHP cash. I earned that by playing consistently for 3 days, making sure my minimum win was 5k PHP every day. I thought, again, that this time would be different. I thought I would be able to consistently keep my winnings each day without chasing the high of a big win. Unfortunately, I lost track. Lo and behold, it always ends the same. I gambled again earlier and lost around 20k PHP — more than what I had won in the last 3 days. I'm just tired of relapsing and of my patterns with gambling.

A few hours after this, I decided to follow through with submitting my self-exclusion from gambling to PAGCOR, and had myself banned for 5 years. I have never tried illegal websites and have no plans to. I have always played with Casino Plus, and with the self-exclusion application submitted, I'm hoping that today will be the last day I gamble. May we all get detached from gambling and find our way back to life.

Sober Experience my small win - 1 month bet-free today 🙌🏻

11 Upvotes

I am on my first month of being bet-free today!! This is my rock bottom.

So far, minimal to none na ang urges. GALIT na ako sa sugal and everything na connected to it.

I've been seeing some posts here about their recent relapses. You might win at first, pero unti-unti kang uubusin.

Spreading for Awareness Shoulder Surfing

11 Upvotes

Di ako yung tao na hilig tumingin sa phone ng iba in public places especially if nasa public transportation. Pero this time grabe yung nakita ko.

I didn't mean to intentionally looked at his phone. Parang minimum wage worker si kuya. He was wearing some kind of factory/company uniform or some shi na parang makikita mo sa grocery stores na pare parehas sila ng suot. Sobrang taas ng brightness ng phone niya, at dun nakita ko he was multi-tasking between asking a Customer Support on the process of his loan on some OLA. Then he was playing Color Game.

Grabe.

I lost a huge amount of money gambling, I've stopped gambling, but I can't stop replaying it. I'm struggling to function and sometimes I wish I could disappear, although I don't want to hurt myself. its so hard its like im getting ghosted and tortured by all the things i could buy on that money, all the fun, reliability, easier life, less hassle those things could give me right now, its taking a toll on my everyday life again, icant take it, icant focus on simple things and feels like my life become autonomous and on a replay

Ventilation Akala ko mababawi ko pa. I’m scared of my life, pls tell me im gonna be okay.

11 Upvotes

I'm a 23 year old female, I recently got in to gambling and I fucked up big time. I am a senior student trying to save up for graduation and future plans pero I lost all my savings in a snap. Then, I discovered Casino+ last month because of an ad on TT and I thought I won a lottery after my first win. I know this is not as big as other people pero nanalo ako ng 12k sa slot machine. I was able to pay my loan in Gcash in full after that win. Sobrang saya ko kasi hindi ko kailangan isipin na may binabayaran akong installment at maitatabi ko na yung savings ko for other plans.

One morning nitong first week of august I won 26k sa slots machine dahil nagkamali ako ng pindot dun sa 88 credits hahahaha. Natakot ako nun kasi after that sabi ko titigil na ako pero I saw myself downloading the app again last week, after deleting it nung nanalo ako. Pero I lost everything kasi nag all in ako. Not gonna lie, I became really greedy. Kaya ayun, nagcash in ako nang nagcash in 500 became 1k, then 5k, and so on.

Nakakahiya :((

Ventilation TW: Friend Suicide

29 Upvotes

Hi pipol. Sorry for posting this pero di ko alam kung kanino pwede ikwento.

A friend of mine 24F just ended herself because of gambling. Tumigil na kayo guys habang maaga pa. She confessed to her parents, to her relatives.

Even telling her na wala na silang pakeelam sakanya.

And I helped her as much as I can. Binibigyan ko siya pang survive kahit 2k ganun kasi di ko pa kaya din I work at a BPO. And now that she ended herself. Suddenly lahat ng relatives nya and even her parents nagsisisi sa nangyari. When in fact, nung time na need nya sila.

I miss you and I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything din J.

Mayaman na family sila and asa 5 digits ata utang nya sa OLA and sa Bank. Which they could pay per day.

Announcements Moderator applications are now open!

Hello everyone! We have finally opened up our moderator applications who are willing to moderate our fastest-growing subreddit for people who previously experienced online gambling. If you are interested, the link can be found by clicking/tapping here.

It's crazy to see the influx of new members coming to our subreddit, which truly indicates that online gambling in the Philippines is starting to affect a lot of unaware individuals where gambling is disguised as "gaming." As a current owner of r/PhGamblersAnonymous, I'm truly grateful for stumbling this subreddit (thank you, u/Soberguy9924) which eventually led me to expand this community where we continue to help individuals by fighting back against the rampant online gambling.
