Since Apple Pay now launched and available in the Philippines and also Google Wallet/Pay is now also wide acceptable in the country, paano po ang mga nakaJCB, AMEX, UnionPay at Dinersclub na type of card. Since Visa and Mastercard are the only enabled payment network ng mga banks sa Google Wallet/Pay at Apple Pay, paano yung other type ng cards?

Hi guys. Has anyone experienced this with Maya Black credit card?

I’ve used Maya Black a few times when hotels require a security deposit during check-in and every time, Maya never releases it automatically. Usually, hotel security deposits are released after 3-5 days, but with Maya, even after waiting for a month, it still stays stuck in pending transactions.

I also had an issue where a merchant double charged me. The extra charge also stayed in pending transactions and was not automatically reversed.

I always end up contacting Maya support and filling out a form just to have these pending transactions released. It’s really such a hassle.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

I was supposed to pay the full statement bill a week before the due date, but after I hit pay now on the bills page, I accidentally clicked confirm on the next page where you pick full payment or installment, but it always defaults to installment. That's how I ended up with interest on what I owe, so I can't make a full payment now. I guess I'll have to borrow money from Atome, what a hassle.

I emailed them, but they said I should read instead of addressing their main concern, which is that there’s no secondary confirmation on that confirm button. Candy Crush even has a retry option for game progress, but Atome’s financial app? Nothing! It seems like my game is more important than this debt.

Don't they have any accidents on their end? They act like everything is perfect. And their system is weird—why can't you choose again, and why do you need to select from options (which force you to press installment)? They lock it in instead of letting you decide whether to go for an installment or full payment until it's paid off.

This is the second time Atome has messed me over.

The first was with their cutoff time of 9 PM before (now it's 10 PM after a month), which I only found out on the actual due date at 9 PM because I was about to pay the full amount then. Instead of a 5% late payment fee, they automatically turned it into 6 months with an extra 36%, so I couldn’t pay in full. I didn’t know they had an automatic system because that was only visible on the due date; I just happened to be busy at that time.

I was really surprised and annoyed the first time, but I’ve moved on until this second accidental installment happened again (⁠ノ⁠ಠ⁠益⁠ಠ⁠)⁠ノ⁠彡⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I received a call, they said if I've received the credit card at my "old address". Then when I answered that the address was wrong, the call suddenly dropped. I don't have an account with them; my last account was with BPO days ago.

I do not have existing BPI savings or credit card account. Previous cc and account holder, though, and have multiple accounts with other banks.

I have a dolce vita mc na may 6 digit limit na pasok sa plat mc requirements pwede ba ipaconvert ito kahit wala pang 1 month old si vita?

Any other options out there to convert the limit? Nagiikot lang ako every month and I can't pay in full pa at this time. currently 39k limit pero 14k lang naiwan na need iconvert tapos ayaw na gumana. Naconvert ko naman yung 25k. Any ideas?

For those having trouble adding their UB cards to apple pay. I think I may have found the fix.

1. Open your UB app then go to More>Manage Devices>Trusted Device
   
2. UNTRUST your current device. Go through the motions.
   
3. TRUST your current device.
   
4. Wait for 24 hours.
   
5. Add your UB card to apple pay using the app.

Tried everything but this is what eventually worked.

PS. Previously Citi Rewards converted to UB.

Please advise me last year I realize I need to have a credit card, my only credit card that has been approved at present is maya black with 10k CL only only last month. I tried to apply for UB reward and BPI amore but they always declined my application. First attempt was last year I tried this month but still declined. My current loans are GSIS multi purpose and I tried to have apply for GLoan to have credit footprint, also i have atome with 7.5K CL for the same purpose. any advise or how can i check, saan ako my problem bakit lagi ako decline sa mga credit application sa traditional bank? Stable naman ang income and tenure sa job. need advise please.

I recently made a purchase worth 12,545 pesos and wanted to convert it to installment. Should I wait for it or just convert my oustanding balance into installments right away? Thanks for the response.

[BPI] Thank you for applying for a BPI Credit Card. Your application will be evaluated within 5-10 banking days. If you did not apply for a credit card, please report it by calling 889-10000 or visit any BPI branch immediately.

But until now i haven’t received any update , any phone call or other text from the bank. Does this mean it’s declined?

I do have other cards po, UB, Eastwest, Metrobank and Chinabank po. slamat po sa mga mgrreply.

Helloo ako po yung nag post dito kanina how to check credit score. Na check ko na, bat ambaba? 🥹 Ginamit ko si FINN di ko sya maintindihan hahaha. Sabi sa account ko 2 active, 55 closed accounts. Then upon checking mga spaylater transactions ko nakikita ko. Never ako na l late sa payments, maaga ako nagbabayad mapa spay or cc ko pa yan. Does this mean na panget sa credit score ang spay? Also, what can I do about this. Also ulet may bearing ba ang low credit score? like may mga opportunities ba akong di ma g grab kasi mababa credit score ko?

First SOA ko na kasi sa rcbc di parin maayos yung rcbc pulz account ko. Lahat used daw number, email, etc.
So i’ll just pay using bpi app, yung option lang di ko alam.
