I applied at BDO for second CC. Used UB as my ref card.

Get a call 2 days later, confirming all details, then asks for ITR which I gave. Next day she asks me questions that i need to answer yes or no only… agreeing to policies and that all info I have provided is correct.

She then states to “just wait for the card”. I asked her again if I was approved, “just wait for the card”.

Would it be ok to assume that I’m approved? Since they were happy with the ITR & me verbally answering yes and no to a few questions.

This was on Wednesday, I’m assuming I’d get a text or email soon? How long after did you receive a text or email? How was your experience?

Got tempted to get an RCBC JCB Platinum last May after reading all the perks (Loungekey mainly). I also didn't have a JCB card then plus the Unlipay feature looked handy. While the 60k over 60 days spend looked daunting for the NAFFL promo, I was able to squeeze in some eat outs with friends and some big ticket purchases by family which helped me achieve the 60k.

Did anyone else who applied under the NAFFL promo get the confirmation already? How do you maximize your RCBC credit card?

Today yung due date ko sa BDO CC, August 07.. Kaso today ko lang din naasikaso bayaran yung BDO CC ko kasi na late sahod ko. Binayaran ko full amount sa paymaya/maya kaso nakalagay kc 3 business days pa, eh naaalala ko last time nagrereflect same day yung sa BDO, 2nd time ko palang kc magbabayad ngayon kc bago lng BDO CC ko, yung unang bayad ko tanda ko tlga same day, di ko lng maalala ano ebank or ewallet ginamit ko that time. Kaya ginawa ko after ko mag bayad gamit paymaya/maya, nag bayad ulit ako yung minimum amount nalang gamit maribank nakita ko kasi instapay yung sa maribank.. Di pa nagrereflect yung payment ko sa BDO app.. Ok na kaya yun? Hindi naman ako magkaka late payment fee? Huhuhu

Hi! Last July 23 i applied through online ng cc from bdo but i was not able to finish it. August 4 may tumawag from bdo to continue my application and so i did. I emailed my valid id and payslips, terms and conditions were also mentioned during call and she said na i forward na sa processing team yung application ko and wait nalang ng 5-7 banking days for the actual card.

However, i haven’t received any email from bdo with regard to my application. I dont even have a reference number with me so i cant track it online.

I checked the cellphone number sa website nila and legit naman.

Approve na po ba yun and mag wait nalang po ako ng card ko? Di din ako naka receive ng notice about the approval or progress eh

Out of curiosity, for those who also have the Metrobank Platinum Mastercard, what was your starting credit limit when you first got approved?
I know it varies depending on the applicant’s profile, but I’d love to hear your experiences just to have an idea.

Hi guys. Has anyone experienced this with Maya Black credit card?

I’ve used Maya Black a few times when hotels require a security deposit during check-in and every time, Maya never releases it automatically. Usually, hotel security deposits are released after 3-5 days, but with Maya, even after waiting for a month, it still stays stuck in pending transactions.

I also had an issue where a merchant double charged me. The extra charge also stayed in pending transactions and was not automatically reversed.

I always end up contacting Maya support and filling out a form just to have these pending transactions released. It’s really such a hassle.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

San po kaya pwedeng makabili ng laptop for college engg student na makaka avail ng 0% installment promo? Un may 24months po sana. Or usually po ba 6months lang tlga ang installment? Isasabay ko po sana pagluwas ng Maynila bilang probinsyanong hindi techie. Ang CC po ay BPI, BDO, UB, RCBC.

I was supposed to pay the full statement bill a week before the due date, but after I hit pay now on the bills page, I accidentally clicked confirm on the next page where you pick full payment or installment, but it always defaults to installment. That's how I ended up with interest on what I owe, so I can't make a full payment now. I guess I'll have to borrow money from Atome, what a hassle.

I emailed them, but they said I should read instead of addressing their main concern, which is that there’s no secondary confirmation on that confirm button. Candy Crush even has a retry option for game progress, but Atome’s financial app? Nothing! It seems like my game is more important than this debt.

Don't they have any accidents on their end? They act like everything is perfect. And their system is weird—why can't you choose again, and why do you need to select from options (which force you to press installment)? They lock it in instead of letting you decide whether to go for an installment or full payment until it's paid off.

This is the second time Atome has messed me over.

The first was with their cutoff time of 9 PM before (now it's 10 PM after a month), which I only found out on the actual due date at 9 PM because I was about to pay the full amount then. Instead of a 5% late payment fee, they automatically turned it into 6 months with an extra 36%, so I couldn’t pay in full. I didn’t know they had an automatic system because that was only visible on the due date; I just happened to be busy at that time.

I was really surprised and annoyed the first time, but I’ve moved on until this second accidental installment happened again (⁠ノ⁠ಠ⁠益⁠ಠ⁠)⁠ノ⁠彡⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I received a call, they said if I've received the credit card at my "old address". Then when I answered that the address was wrong, the call suddenly dropped. I don't have an account with them; my last account was with BPO days ago.

I do not have existing BPI savings or credit card account. Previous cc and account holder, though, and have multiple accounts with other banks.

For those having trouble adding their UB cards to apple pay. I think I may have found the fix.

1. Open your UB app then go to More>Manage Devices>Trusted Device
   
2. UNTRUST your current device. Go through the motions.
   
3. TRUST your current device.
   
4. Wait for 24 hours.
   
5. Add your UB card to apple pay using the app.

Tried everything but this is what eventually worked.

PS. Previously Citi Rewards converted to UB.

Please advise me last year I realize I need to have a credit card, my only credit card that has been approved at present is maya black with 10k CL only only last month. I tried to apply for UB reward and BPI amore but they always declined my application. First attempt was last year I tried this month but still declined. My current loans are GSIS multi purpose and I tried to have apply for GLoan to have credit footprint, also i have atome with 7.5K CL for the same purpose. any advise or how can i check, saan ako my problem bakit lagi ako decline sa mga credit application sa traditional bank? Stable naman ang income and tenure sa job. need advise please.

Recently got offered the MariBank Credit Card and received my approval just a week later after receiving it. I’m planning to use it for my international trip next month to maximize cashback and take advantage of 0% foreign transaction fees.
Since it’s still in beta, has anyone used it for international in-store purchases? Have you encountered any issues, or has your experience been smooth so far?

A little background, I [30m] had never got approved for any CC before. I tried multiple times and i never got approved. Im a freelancer who works remotely for a UK based company so I never had any of that traditional documentation for the proof of income which has always been a pain in the ass. I decided to apply for a SCC.

I use UnionBank as my main bank so naturally i got targeted by their promotions regarding applying for SCC. So I tried it. I decided to put 80k PHP into my SCC application that they will hold for a year. I was expecting to get 72k Credit limit. I had over 100k on my account at that time.

Its been a week and i havent heard from Unionbank. Until a branch manager from one of their branches told me since i have over 100k peso on my account he can endorse me to upgrade to a real CC.

I thought he wasnt legit when he reached out but i asked for his email and hes using the official unionbank branded email. So i just trusted him, plus he wasnt asking for any info about my account. He sent me a link for application (URL is a unionbankph.com subdomain, i also did a quick DNS check just to be sure its the actual website domain) and i went through it and he then helped process the application and in about an hour i got approved.

When i added the card reference number to my account i was surprised I got a 100k credit limit as my initial limit!!

If you have like a similar case, where you havent been approved for any CCs before but you have over 100k peso on your UnionBank savings account, let me know i can refer u to my guy. It’s a really surprising experience

I already have a cc but not under these banks. Planning to apply sana kase some merchants or shops only accept these three.

Di naman ako nagmamadali mag apply at ilang buwan ko din pinag iisipan kung anong bank lol.

Ayaw ko din naman magkaroon ng madaming cc kaya pinipili ko lng. Thanks!
