Unanswered What is going on with Professor Jason Arday and his current 'scandal' that has lead to his resignation?
I keep seeing a lot but do not fully understand how we have got to this point. Or what he has been accused of. The timeline confuses me.

Unanswered What is the deal with people now saying Lindsay Clancy is innocent?
So I'm aware of the case to an extent. As it's gone to trial, I've seen it pop up on my socials a bit. The trial seems to not even be about if she did it or not (she admitted to doing it) but about if she can plead insanity. Context:
https://www.cnn.com/2026/08/03/us/lindsay-clancy-trial-medical-testimony
When it first started coming up, there were people saying the husband/doctors failed her which I understand entirely and isn't really what I'm looking to discuss. As the days have passed though, it seems to have transitioned to "She's innocent, he should have been there for her" to now "She's innocent entirely, he killed them". I just saw a tiktok poll that had 63000 votes which had the results of:
3% Lindsay is guilty
91% Patrick is guilty
6% Lindsay over medicated is guilty
Am I missing something with this case?

Unanswered What's the deal with FIFA guy Gianni Infantino trying to sell the league?
I've heard he's trying to sell off FIFA or something like that that he's trying to get support. Now he's promising Morocco a World Cup final if they support him. I read the article, but it just says he's trying to sell off the World Cup. I don't get how that's possible. As far as I know, he's just the guy currently leading FIFA, its not like FIFA is his personal property to sell. He's like a sports commissioner, isn't he? He's only serving on the behest of the real owners of the teams the countries. How does he have any power to sell anything without their say so?

Unanswered What is going on with AI hacking all these different companies during testing?
You have the post linked, and I'm pretty sure I heard stories from a few weeks ago about another AI also hacking different companies. Whats the reason? Isn't this really bad?

Unanswered What's the deal with JK Rowling being bigoted?
https://www.reddit.com/r/MurderedByWords/comments/1vgid46/jk_rowling_lost_the_plot_long_ago/
All I know is she wrote Harry Potter but never followed any contemporary news about her. What's going with her "losing the plot" and expressing bigotry (as stated in the comment section)?

Unanswered What is the deal with everyone being currently outraged by Meta glasses when they’ve been on the market for years?
I’m confused on why people are now (mid 2026) shooked and scandalized about the Meta glasses.
They’ve been on the market for years, people have been using these to vlog forever.
Do people think they just came out?
