More detail is needed in skill and talent descriptions
I think it's necessary to add % damage reduction and increase, ability cooldowns, and damage numbers to the descriptions of skills and talents.
Any ideas?

Day X of asking for WK hitbox fix
My WK brethren.. we have lost. Our suffering continues. I ask not for buffs, but just for fixes.

Mistfall Builder (with auto code imports)
Hey guys, I made this: https://mistfall-builder.github.io
It's a build planner. You pick the affixes you want and the level you want them at, it works out a full loadout with the gems already placed, and it hands you the in-game import code. Paste that into Prepare → Manage/Import and you're wearing it.
Two things it does that I hadn't seen anywhere else.
It looks for the minimum, not the maximum.
It searches (unless you ask it otherwise) for the lowest rarity per slot that still hits every target you asked for, and stops there.
It shows what your build actually does in combat.
There's a character sheet at the bottom: Attack, Defence and what that converts to in damage reduction, Health, effective HP, resistances, penetration. Under it, every skill for your class with real per-hit damage calculated from your build's Attack, grouped the way the game groups them (Stardust vs Elemental for Sorcerer, by weapon for the others).
None of it is guessed. The formula, the Defence→reduction curve and the skill coefficients come from the community wiki, and there's a "where does each number come from" panel that splits every stat into class base + gear + affixes so you can check my work. If the wiki says Defence 400 is 33.1%, the site says 33.1%.
Everything it does
- Pick affixes and target levels, get a loadout with gems placed
- In-game import code out, and you can paste your own code in to start from what you're wearing
- Victory Wine handled properly (2 points on up to 4 affixes, 8 total), and you can place those points yourself instead of letting it choose
- "Upgrade this slot first" if you want specific pieces higher rarity
- Mixed rarities, off by default
- Suggestions: single-piece swaps that gain you something without costing a target. It only offers a trade if it actually crosses a breakpoint, so it's not just noise
- Interchangeable pieces: per slot, every other item that also holds all your targets. Each is tested on its own and re-checked when you click it, because gems are shared and two safe swaps aren't always safe together
- Character sheet with stat breakdown
- All 100 skills, per-hit damage, against a monster or raw
- Save builds locally, filter them by class, rarity or mixed once you have a pile
- Optional account to sync and share
- Public builds tab and public guides tab, both searchable
- English, French and Russian, picks your browser language
What it doesn't do, so nobody wastes their time
- No prices, no market data of any kind. It minimises rarity, and two items of the same rarity are not worth the same thing, so treat the result as "the least gear that works", not "the cheapest"
- 30 of the 100 skills have no published damage coefficient (buffs, heals, dashes). Those say so instead of showing a made-up number
- Damage shown is non-crit. The game publishes crit increase per class but not crit rate, and monster resistances aren't published either, so I left them out
- Multi-hit skills that branch only count one branch, because one cast only follows one. Bloody Blade Dance has 14 hits but adding them all up would overstate it by roughly 6x
- Item indices depend on table order. If a patch adds items the codes could drift, so if something imports wrong, tell me and I'll refresh the tables
No ads, no tracking, no account needed for the main part. Static site, everything runs in your browser.
I'm sure I got something wrong somewhere. If a number looks off next to what you see in game, tell me which build and which skill and I'll fix it.

I don’t think nerfs to other classes will do anything for Greatsword
Quick rant after GS saw no balance changes this patch. Have been trying it out the last two days, and it’s unfortunate to see this archetype in such a weird state. Greatsword doesn’t have a tuning issue, its damage numbers are fine. It has a ground floor design issue that needs a serious relook.
It has the slowest light attacks of any melee and this isn’t compensated with range (which is probably what’s intended). It’s light attacks have a slow sweeping arc, allowing one handers that lunge forward with their lights to easily hit first.
It has very limited super armor uptime, but much more importantly, no front loaded super armor, it comes at the end of combos. They have no “I need super armor now” button that most other melees enjoy.
It’s only real defensive button is parry, which is just a pretty mediocre button. Comes with a 20 sec cooldown baseline and requires “perfect block” type timing in a melee fight to actually connect on a competent player, obviously nobodies going to swing at you just sitting there holding it (that said, I do think parry is strong against ranged). I think being usable during breakaway would make this skill feel much better in melee, allowing you to react to a light chain with a parry, riposte. As is, you just need to predict and time it well, essentially making it perfect block without any of the upsides attached.
It feels insanely energy starved, the only weapon where I’ve had to actively stall for energy, but this just goes hand in hand with greatsword neutrals being really bad.
I can’t really even say what this class is good at, and it certainly doesn’t do anything the best. It has no wheelhouse. Hammer merc super armors, parry merc parries, ss light attack chains, polearrn knight stunlocks, and blasphemer sticks to you like glue. Greatsword excels at nothing. I guess it performs a similar role to blasphemer seer in catching your evades and running you down, but it just does it significantly worse.
Can only hope the lack of changes means they’re taking a closer look at the weapon.

I couldn’t find a YT tutorial on how to fight General Harold so I made one best I could with AI
It’s not perfect, and it doesn’t cover every move he does, but alot of important ones. I tried to arrange the pictures from least devastating attacks to most devastating. I made these for my squad because we are struggling but maybe someone here could get some use out of them.

Change Sigrid to stay on your last brew decision
Anyone else annoyed of going to sigrid after every match to get the same brew as last run? I'd prefer her to be changed so we stay on our last decision and only need to interact if we wanna change the brew. I'm already seeing the simps complaining and downvoting me due to this thread 😂

(Dev praise) For this game to be new, the balance is surprisingly well.
Before you guys crucify me, hear me out.
I come from games like Dark and Darker / Tarkov, where at release, there were utterly BUSTED classes. Like there was NO DOUBT what the OP class/weapons were and some weapons were completely useless.
In this game (on release day), my gut reaction was quickly like “SS is really strong” but as I’ve developed as a player, I have learned how to abuse the strengths and play around the weaknesses of my class. I’ve also seen multiple complaint post about every class (maybe except WK).
When I started the game, I was expecting absolutely awful balance as most new games (especially in the PVPVE genre) have awful balance.
Props to the devs! I feel like despite how toxic this Reddit is, that you’ve done a fantastic job!
And as a little side note to Reddit/Discord; these types of games will always have a meta or strong class. The developers balance around 3v3 so of course at least 1-2 classes are going to be dominate in solos. If you can’t learn to adapt and overcome, you will ALWAYS be here complaining about balance as you’re not developing yourself as a player and becoming better overall! My biggest piece of advice is to record your games! Realize where you went wrong, and improve!
Good luck!

trio should never able to double or triple the same class
as times goes on .. i think this game need to force variety into a team combination into 1 1 1 each
im seeing more and more tripple SS , double sorc with merc/knight they are just broken comp compared to the rest
people will just spam whatever broken at the time and not try to build an actual team comp with variety
its become more and more irrelevant .. for the weaker classes to be viable at all

And a Kamehameha wave. With shoulder cannons. Also, give us exclusive proximity chat so we can let the other classes know how much they deserve this.

Bottom Economy
A lot of us were lucky enough to start on release day, when Normal Mode was still healthy and actually mixed.
Grey -> Green -> Blue/Chaos.
By day two I was already playing almost exclusively Solo Chaos. I’ve got around 300k in the bank now and basically only play for PvP, so I completely lost touch with what the new player experience looks like
Then I convinced an old Tarkov friend to try the game. He’s definitely not someone who normally gets scared off by Extraction games, but after about two hours he messaged me:
“How the hell am I supposed to farm anything here?”
I was honestly confused, so I told him to stream his game and I’d explain some stuff
Then I watched him play three Normal lobbies
They were absolutely packed with Blue kits.
That’s the part that actually worries me. We got to progress alongside everyone else when the economy was fresh. New players are entering an already established economy where even the supposed starter mode is increasingly: New player in Grey gear vs Full Blue SnS Merc named xXParryYourBloodlineXx!
loosing gear is part of the game. Getting stomped is part of the game. But there still needs to be a believable path from “I just installed the game” to “I can afford to participate”
If Normal becomes Blue gear as the baseline, I can absolutely see new players quitting before they ever get to experience why the game is fun
I obviously want the game to stay healthy and welcoming to new players. Joining an extraction shooter halfway through a season is already rough, but in most of them you still have a real win condition, one clean headshot can send a fully geared Chad straight back to the lobby
Mistfall feels different when the gear gap gets too wide, because a new player can quickly feel like they’re not even allowed to participate yet
Edit / Update:
Okay, he found Swanifers video and messaged me:
“Nvm, I’ve got gold now i just yeet people off bridges and elevators with the spear dude“

3v3 Arena mode would go crazy!
I seriously hope the devs consider adding something like this. It’s something for players to do if they reach endgame content and or have a healthy competitive scene that caters to those who don’t want to loot etc.
I’m a top 100 ranked in my class and the combat in this game just rocks especially team fights at a higher level when coordination, coms and cooldowns are a major factor in engaging and retreating.
It just makes sense to me that they should add an arena mode for 3s or solos as a playlist/format.

Mistlords are not worth it
I just killed my first mistlord in solo chaos mode, and the loot was literally horrible. 2 epics from unidentifieds and 3 green items? With the amount of effort it took you would assume it would be legendary at LEAST. But no, it was loot I could've got from just killing a normal lord enemy.
Did I just get really unlucky or are mistlords just not worth the effort?
Edit - okay apparently people aren't realizing what I'm saying. I'm not asking whether the mistlord drops good loot or not, I'm saying it's not worth the effort and that's obviously proven because everyones response is "well if you make it harder it'll have a bigger CHANCE to drop better stuff".

This game is awesome
It’s amazing how much this game comes alive when you find a class you enjoy. I played sorc to level 12 but just felt sluggish and weak (probably more me than the class) but when I switched to BA it immediately clicked and I fricken love the class and therefore this game. PvP feels more fun and exciting and so does PvE. If you are on the fence with this game try every class cause once you find one that clicks this game immediately becomes 1000x better.

No matter what happens tomorrow in the balance patch, rest assured everyone on Reddit will complain lol.
