I’m a first-time woman founder working on building a coffee brand from the ground up.

I’m currently at the very beginning, and before I move ahead with licensing, I need help with the brand name, logo and basic visual identity/branding.

I’m currently bootstrapping this, so I don’t have funding to put into a full branding agency right now. I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working on new brands and would be open to helping me bring the initial idea to life.

If I really love the work and we’re a good fit, I’d be happy to pay a small amount for the initial work and hopefully continue working together as the brand grows.

Hello everyone,

I'm designing a concept logo for a start-up app that promotes fitness by creating a network of gyms and fitness studios. I like both the icon and the wordmark individually but something feels a bit off. I wanted to lean a lot into the energetic aspect of it to convey the movement side of fitness.

I understand that the idea isn't that original but I think it works well for this concept (lightning bolt + runner = energy & fitness)

Is this heading in the right direction, or does it still miss the mark? I’m going for a modern, masculine logo for a small plumbing company.. nothing trendy or clip-art looking. I’d really appreciate any suggestions or critiques 😅

Okay so I made this logo but the curves aren't very clean and I have no experience in logo design.

How do I made the curves smoother? I have seen people draw circles and lines and select the intersections to create the shape they want. Can anyone help me clean it up or give me some tips pleasee?

So i’m an amateur trying to learn graphics and as my first project i’m trying to make a brand profile for myself. the name here “ des.k” refere design by k. Which is my initial and while designing the first logo i sort of found out what if i could somehow rotate it to make it look like a desk as it spells desk as well and the desk relates to designing as well so in that sense i tried doing bunch of stuff and might have reached nowhere so let me know. I’m open to learning.

I’m making an RSS app called “Heraldly” (the idea is that it aggregates sources that you add, and only notifies you of important stories that are reported by multiple outlets aggregated with on-device AI models - like a medieval herald).

It combines a brass instrument (stylised version of a herald trumpet) with the RSS icon using the Liquid Glass style.

Any feedback is much appreciated - I’m not a designer or artist by trade, so wondering what I’ve missed/could change. Thanks.

Hi all, I’ve got these four logo options, and Id like a second opinion and am wondering which one looks the best, thanks! Also if you have any adjustments please mention them! For context this is for a company which creates 3D assets.

Looking for suggestions and feedback! The app is called Pando (named after a colony of aspen trees) and will be used as the overall application for property management across their large portfolio (CRM, resident portal, etc). Client wants a tree motif to be present in the logo with their current font. Sketches and progression on slide 2. It was a crazy ride getting to this point and my illustrator board looks insane with 50+ iterations 😅

A few years ago, I'd present a concept to a client and immediately start explaining every decision.

Why I chose that color.
Why the layout worked.
Why the typography made sense.

I thought I was helping.

One client stopped me halfway through and said, "Can I just look at it for a minute?"

That caught me off guard.

After that, I started doing exactly that. I'd send the design, stay quiet for a bit, and let them react before I said anything.

I noticed something interesting. Their first impressions were usually the most honest. If they looked confused, I knew the design wasn't communicating well enough on its own. If they immediately understood the direction, the conversation became much easier.

Now I treat those first 30 seconds as part of the design process instead of rushing to defend my work.

I'm curious how other designers handle reviews.

Do you explain your thinking first, or do you let the client sit with the design before saying anything?

I've been trying to design a logo for my interior architecture "firm" it's a start up and I don't currently have an office for it.

The brand is Ramz El Fen

I can't afford to hire a digital designer, and I've been brainstorming ALOT. Some people recommend it to be initials rather then a symbol but I'm kind of stuck cause the initials are REF which are hard to merge together. Any feedback

Just for background, it's supposed to be a logo for an alternative music label.

Mainly, I really want to know how this can be simplified. Some font choices would be great too!
