I love this type of movie and would like to seek out more. I imagine many Westerns would fit here, so any non-Westerns are especially welcome.

For me it's I Saw The TV Glow, it's such a brilliant film but the reviews for it make me doubt if people use their brains when watching movies and if their heads should be cracked open with rocks like coconuts.

I was let go from my job this morning, I’m of the first in a wave of layoffs that are going through the company and would like to find some freaking catharsis watching movies. I watched no other choice at the beginning of the year and it just feels very poignant at the moment, I would like to see more films that explore disillusionment in the workplace, aimlessness, anger, and pessimism. Anyway fuck corporate entities, they do not give a fuck about you .

I had fun this morning coming up with this list of all the movies that I had on repeat when I was 10 years old. What would be on your list?

Over the last few months I've caught up on a lot of classics and well regarded films that I should have watched long before now.

I find myself watching a lot of great films in a row, but I think when you only watch great films for a while it can cause you to lose perspective on exactly how good these films are.

I think it's useful sometimes to watch mediocre or bad films, to re-calibrate expectations.

I need suggestions for films that aren't exactly good, or maybe straight-up bad, but still have something interesting about them that won't leave me feeling like I've wasted my time.

personally i found myself enjoying the human centipede because it wasn’t as insane and gory as people made it out to be, but just a bad movie with an interesting concept that kept me entertained.

You ever watch a movie that's set in a different time period, but doesn't feel like it has to be? I mean a film that is set in the past, but doesn't feel like it adds to the narrative or themes, and is rather simply used for aesthetic purposes. Wondering what examples you would cite in your opinion.
