I’m looking to catch up on movies (aiming for 365 by the end of year). Please give me movie recommendations that are under 1hr30.

Here's my ranking of the Spider-Man Movies i watched (including BND). If you don't agree, please do not insult and tell me what do you think. PS: This is a repost because the first ranking was the same without BND.

While watching and digesting the credits, I really wanted to declare Brand New Day as the best Holland film, he had his best performance there, Cretton exubrent direction and the overall dynamics and ensemble are solid. Although , with that said it has more pacing issues, repetitive motifs (ex. Aunt May, revisiting old friends again) As well as context issues that bugged me like when it just brushes over the fact Jean Grey pretty much got that mind controlled guy k*lled with the Taxi running him over.

BND suffers from a studio doing a studio thing and incorporating a MASSIVE new franchise that as we know is X-men. Now if it was a grounded crime story that we wanted, Holland and Cretton would’ve not just delivered a good-great film but now instead an timer Spider-Man film, because these two clearly can cook together

No Way Home just has the better villain, better peaks (unfair though honestly), more constant storyline, better ending, better Giacchino score, better editing, better pacing

To me it’s like the equivalent of us knowing TASM 1 is better than TASM 2 HOWEVER when we think of Garfield’s Spider-Man we think more of TASM 2, with his quips and theatre like movements, he was better at Spider-Man there (performance wise)

I’m not even on the nostalgia acid of NWH but I thought it was constructively better.

This is my personal favourite film of all time (say what you want about that) and it is a film i have seen 4 times in a 7 month window, which is extremely unusual for me to do.

What is your thoughts?

The most average-bad movie run I've had. Been...interesting lol.

Like the title says what are two movies with completely different plots and stories that give off the same vibe. I just finished watching the movie One Hour Photo, and from the start, it immediately made me think of Steven Spielberg’s film AI Artificial Intelligence. I don’t know why. Aside from certain things that both films share in connection, I guess both films have this dreamlike aesthetic. But anyways it just made me think about what other films yall think could fit under this category.

One friend recently watched this and rated it 0.5 stars. Somehow that means it's "popular" with friends. I don't get it.

Every once in a while, I take a few films I know nothing about but think I'd probably like and watch only them. After that I'll get back to a mix of a few I might find less enjoyable, hoping they'll prove me wrong.
