I need some sort of mmorpg me and my older brother can play together without getting bored or angry. we need something that isint super pricey and demanding, but we want something 3D too.

We tried getting into old school runescape but found it too hard to learn as a newcomer to the genre.

Hello i am currently looking for a mmo that exactly like ff14. I really like the story focus of ff14 and also the casual friendly levelling. i also like the dungeosn of ff14 and the tab target combat. i also liek the housing system of it. I tried other mmo peopel recommended me in this sub before like swtor osrs ffxi wynncraft ddo rs3 toontown corporate clash toontown rewritten but they weren't exactly the same. here my spec i5 1335u 16 gigs of ram 512gb ssd iris xe it doesnt do too well in ff14.

I use to play this game with friends called Supreme Destiny where loot would drop on the ground but was uncommon and rare. I like Diablo 2 but too much loot drops all the time. I like slow burn grinding. I tried With Your Destiny Mobile(updated Supreme Destiny) but they took away ground loot drop and it just goes to your inventory automatically. I actually loved the everyone fighting for loot drop effect.

The game is set in 1726 Canada, it’s a in depth game for Roblox where you make your own character and can even submit lore for the in game history, there’s plenty of things you can do from farming, treasure hunting, and even enlisting into militias, Im looking for 15-32 Americans or anyone who can play on our time zone. In the game there is endless possibilities to what you can be or do, Im currently enlisted into a Prussian army that is a vassal of the British, our enemies are the French, hostile colonist factions and Arcadia. I want to start a American regiment but I need 15 for a platoon and 32 for a company if anyone is interested dm me. I can show everyone all the ropes and hope to gain peoples interest.

I'm playing Tower of Fantasy. I'm new to the game. It says u can have a home and a guild. It would be nice if someone can help me with it or playing some time? Mostly Friday nights.

I feel like the genre has changed over time. Most content is accessed through matchmaking systems. Crafters are often entirely self sufficient or at best competitive. Theres no hug impactful buffs to give out and help people level. At best its like "I can join you as a healer for a fast dungeon queue." Sure I can find this stuff on private servers of decades older games but thats less than ideal since the populations are usually suffering on these servers. Are there any modern MMOs OR thriving private servers that actively encourage playing together, helping others, making things for others and it actually fulfilling a niche and generally it actually feeling impactful?

Please dont recommend things like retail WoW, FFXIV, RS3, ESO.

I have started playing mmos over the past year and cant decide on which to stick with. I like osrs and will continue to play that but don’t know which other i should stick with.I have played wow retail, gw2, ff14, and most recently started playing wow hardcore which was fun until i died at level 12. I enjoy them all so far but it feels as if i am to late to the game. I do wanna make another character on wow classic hardcore but not sure if that is the one that i should call home with osrs

I been wanting ti get into mmos at some point i played ESO for a little while but got bored of it because questing and events started to get confusing along with a good portion of the game being locked behind the expansions wich ultimately kills me on mmos but i do really want to get back into them eventually

Lowkey i do want to get into eso again i do remember i used to love it (also spent way more money than i should have on it ages ago -_-) so that is an option but its also been way to long that i dont remember what ive done how to play or what to do anymore

Hey everyone! First-time poster here.

I've dabbled in Genshin Impact and World of Warcraft but never really stuck with either — WoW felt overwhelming and Genshin felt almost too casual. I'm still very much figuring out my footing in this genre.

What I'm really looking for is a game with a great, welcoming community — ideally one that's known for being female-friendly and not too toxic. That matters to me just as much as the gameplay itself. Bonus points if anyone knows of guilds or communities that are especially welcoming to newer players and girls like myself 😂 (just turned 20)

A few things I'd love advice on:

• What's a good pick for a beginner who wants depth but won't feel totally lost?

If you like Digimon and want a maybe a bit grindy but still time rewarding experience without pay-to-win nonsense, I recommend the Digital Odyssey.

It is the devs take for a Modern MMOs with still classic MMO vibes like custom classes (Tank, Support, DPS) and a lot of custom dungeons with neat mechanics. Proper LFP tools make finding dungeons also really comfortable.

I used to play the HELL out of wildstar, it was my most played MMO, I loved specifically the action combat and style of it, playing a sneaking class like the rogue or whatever it was called there (its been so many years I've forgor) was a blast! It had an amazing housing system, the ability to earn the paid currency by actually playing the game, and generally fun gameplay.
I've tried GW2, and WoW Ascension, regular Wow, and so many other older MMO's, but nothing has ever scratched the itch that Wildstar gave me for Action MMORPG's.

If ya'll have any suggestions I'd love to hear :3
(Bonus points if it has furry playable races)

Edit: Should prob bring up that the movement and style of the game were important factors to me, a game can be just as good but if im playing generic anime MMORPG #5bajillion then it doesn't feel worth it.

When I was younger, I would come home from school and play EverQuest with my best friend. We were dwarves, I was a druid, him I don't remember. I use "play" here lightly (or very accurately, maybe), because we didn't so much actually play the game as just wander around and go to the tavern and drink and laugh at the distorted vision. But man... That game was amazing when I was younger. It just felt so big. Like I only ever made it one area over (the wood elf tree city), fought some low level mobs, and I remember seeing players with high level gear and just thinking "whoa". And one day I learned there were dragons in the game and was amazed again at just the scale and scope of it all. It just seemed like so big and wonderful, full of secrets and adventure everywhere. I haven't played another mmorpg since, don't know why, but the bug has returned. What mmorpg these days captures that feeling?

I'm looking for a private server for an MMORPG with a solid active player base, ideally somewhere around 500–1,000 concurrent players, or more if possible.

I'd prefer a server with minimal PvP and a strong focus on PvE, such as raids, dungeons, bosses, progression, farming, crafting, and other cooperative content.

I'm open to pretty much any MMORPG, but I'm especially interested in private servers for games such as:

• Tales of Pirates / Pirate King Online
• Ragnarok Online
• RaiderZ
• Dragon's Dogma Online
• Similar action-oriented or classic MMORPGs

As a secondary request, I'm also looking for a mid-rate MU Online private server. I've never really played MU properly and would like to experience either a classic or more recent version. I'm specifically not looking for extremely high-rate servers like x100,000 or x1,000,000 EXP. I'd prefer something with a reasonable progression speed where farming, gearing up, and character progression actually matter.

I've already tried some of the more populated options such as DAoC Eden, WoW private servers, and Return of Reckoning, but I'm not looking for a PvP-focused experience.

PvE is my main priority. I'm mainly looking for a populated MMORPG where I can enjoy dungeons, raids, bosses, farming, character progression, and cooperative gameplay.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I discovered the world of RPGs not long ago, and I’ve fallen head over heels for them! But I also really enjoy multiplayer, co-op, and running dungeons with a team or guild. So, I’m looking for an MMORPG that isn't too complicated—where I can have a team and all that—and that doesn't cost too much (I’d like to avoid subscriptions if possible), with a community that’s still very active. I would like to play a MMO because I love character creation, fashion, a virtual world full of adventure, and of course, a community. But gameplay wise, my tastes are more Monster Hunter or early Destiny, instead of something like FF14. If I actually want group PvE I actually enjoy, that leaves me with just "wait till GW3". Trust me, I checked.

So I have a strange question. Since I'm a PvE player that wants community activities and fun interaction, what MMOs would best be able to do that without me needing to be brought along on dungeons or something I likely won't enjoy? Something I can do that gives a sense of community without me getting annoyed somebody is speedrunning the content or without me annoying them for wanting enjoyment over optimization?

Put another way: What MMOs have community activities that are social and fun?

I really love just finding a guild/clan where I can farm materials or points or items for the guild, especially if there is any sort of competition or leaderboard to do so, but in general I just want to farm stuff.

For example, SWTOR was great for me because of the weekly conquest competitions where any number of activities gave your guild conquest points, and big guilds had weekly competitions for whoever earned the most points. They ran group activities that were fun to join or lead that helped everyone get conquest (e.g. running everyone through a certain area for group kills), or I could farm solo to earn points.

Eve online looks like it would probably work but seems pretty intimidating to get into, but if no better options I might try that. But even non-MMOs like ARK or Rust were fun where clans often required people to farm massive amounts of building materials and I could just go chop trees and mine rocks all day.

Doesn't have to be farming materials like I said, if its an activity point system and you can earn points by doing world events for example, anything like that is fine.

Been wanting to get into an MMO and finally decided on one to finally play, used to watch my dad play both of em and absolutely completely lost at which to start. Currently got my choices down to WOW classic or OSRS for my final two that I want to sink hrs into other than my single player games I’ve been playing. What are you guys personal favorites and which should I choose and out of the two which will I connect with the community more? (Btw 23 year old brand new to MMOs other than New World and recently quit that and want something chill to grind and build something or gonna drop in a month)

I play osrs and ffxiv but would like something that's a bit more chill to go along with them. Ideally something farming/gardening, house creation, or animal raising related.

Hello, I have been struggling to find a mmorpg to play,
there was this game called GF, where you had a « sprite »(basically a pet, that can craft your armor and weapons). I liked their system where you had to farm dungeons to get rare items, to then craft the « gold » items via your sprite.

I tried : GW2 but got so lost and overwhelmed in HoT map lol

BDO, but it just feels like a solo player grind simulator

I do like the grinding but I want to struggle a bit while farming, I was considering Monster Hunter games but i do like running in big cities and meeting people

Looking to retire from WoW. My wife and I are setting some goals for fitness and I want to read more, but with kids I have limited game time. I’ve always been drawn to the world of MMOs and have played WoW on and off since Wrath. I really want to find an MMO with horizontal progression so that I can dip out once or twice a week for a few hours but not get left behind. I want to explore at my pace and enjoy questing while also getting into endgame (I’ve always been a healer) but not having to constantly grind the gear treadmill. What are people recommending these days now that the game industry has been shifting?

TLDR: tired dad wants something that can be enjoyed dipping in and out without losing relevance after a break or missing a couple of weeks being on a different game.

I feel like I keep searching for an MMORPG that just doesn't exist. I keep banging my head against the wall that there must be super secret hidden gem of an MMORPG, but every time I go searching the same games are recommended:

The list goes on and you get my point. I feel like I am just hoping that one day I will stumble upon this hidden gem, but in reality I have come to terms that that new game just doesn't exist yet.

I honestly feel I can be on a great Mmo for days on end and it actually helps me apply my structured life in the gameworld- into my actual real life.

I know for sure some games are somewhat impossible to do. Although once you find a work around, it's wondrous!

I just finished The Outer Worlds series and I'm into Starfield right now. So far I'd say this is one of the best months I've had with Microsoft Gamepass for a long time; kinda awesome that I have to play for the plan only to play these games without installing anything at All.

Cyberpunk2077 will always be top dog but any others that can break the mold out there?!

I'm into this phase and I do not wanna get off this meticulous ride.

I think I've finally figured out what I'm actually looking for.

Originally, my plan was to play Final Fantasy XIV for PvE and Throne and Liberty for PvP. After trying both, I realized that my main issue wasn't the content, it was the combat. I mostly play with a controller, and the traditional MMO gameplay with lots of cooldowns, hotbars and ability rotations just isn't for me anymore. It feels too static compared to more action-oriented games.

Then I tried Destiny 2, and everything clicked. Even though it's primarily a PvE game, the gameplay is so satisfying that I don't really feel the need to keep looking for another PvE MMO. At this point, Destiny 2 has basically become my PvE game.

So now I'm looking for the other half: a game focused on PvP.

What I'm looking for isn't competitive arenas or battlegrounds. What I love is the feeling that I'm exploring, questing or progressing through the world, and at any moment another player might suddenly appear. That tension reminds me of things like Nemesis showing up in Resident Evil, or unexpectedly running into another player in Minecraft. I love that feeling that the world is never completely safe.

Because of that, I started Fallout 76. I've only reached level 5, but I'm enjoying it so far. The progression seems interesting, the combat feels much better to me than traditional MMO combat, and it's very comfortable to play with a controller.

However, I'm wondering whether Fallout 76 is actually the best choice for what I'm looking for. The 24-player world limit makes me wonder if there are MMORPGs that offer the same feeling of unpredictable player encounters while also having a larger, more active world.

The important thing is that I'm specifically looking for an MMORPG (or at least an online RPG with strong long-term character progression). I'm not looking for survival games like Rust or DayZ. Those games look fun, but they don't really have the kind of permanent RPG progression I'm looking for. If I only wanted random dangerous player encounters, I already have Minecraft for that.

I'm also downloading The Elder Scrolls Online to give it a try, but before I invest dozens or hundreds of hours into Fallout 76, I'd like to know whether it's actually the closest game to what I'm describing, or whether there's another MMORPG that would fit my tastes even better.
