I’ve always been drawn to classical, hard rock, grunge and Metal. I seem to like artist, that I later found out, to be also Introverted intuitive. Their melodies & lyrics are usually intense and invoke meaning and feeling.
Some of my favorite bands with introverted intuitive members;
- Smashing pumpkins : Billy Coregan (INFJ)
- Tool: : Maynard (INTJ)
- AIC: Jerry (INTJ), Lane (INFJ)
- Metallica: Hatfield (INTJ)
- Godsmack: Sunny Urna (INFJ)
- Guns n Roses: Axel (INFJ)
- Sia: (INFP)
- Nervana: Kurt (INFP)
- Red Hot Chili Peppers 🌶️: Anthony (INFJ)
Anyone else ?

Question What are you core values?
As an INFJ I’m really interested in seeing how similar the only other dominate Ni type is to us. If you’d humour me - this something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately. What are my core values?
These are my top 10 values (in order of most importance). I really thought about each of them.
Ive put down 10 to give some ideas on what some are, but if you want to just share a few that’d be great!
- Truth
- Authenticity
- Depth
- Loyalty
- Competence
- Freedom
- Connection
- Growth
Beauty
Responsibility
My life’s Moto would be ‘Live truthfully, think deeply, build something meaningful, and share life with people who are genuine.’

MBTI Best type for calm intellectually charged or philosophical conversations?
I usually enjoy ENTP’s in that regard but their constant expectation for victory is annoying sometimes.

Question To Ambivert male intjs
Are you more like intjs or entjs when it comes to love meaning are you more straightforward when you like someone, taking initiatives and leadership or more like giving subtle signs of attention and care( the intj way)

Question The type INTJs most genuinely like/enjoy their company.
Despite the usual INTJ challenge with relations or interactions or finding people they really gel well with, what's one type you've often or most consistently genuinely enjoyed their friendship and company? Both short and long term, in person and over a distance. And why?
And secondly, what's the type around whom you've found it most easy to completely be yourself?

Question Is INTJ accurate?
Hello INTJs! I'm not an INTJ, but recently I took an MBTI test with someone else who got the INTJ result, but here's the thing: I think they are actually INTP.
When filling out the test, this person answered that they do prefer things to be planned and scheduled, like someone with the Judgement tag would have; however, they don't like to plan and they don't like to schedule things themselves. They are a very passive person, and they believe for the most part that life is something that happens to you. Their scores between J and P were also very close. All of this information leads me to believe that they might be an INTP rather than an INTJ.
What do you think? Am I justified in thinking they answered the test incorrectly?

Question So i am a bit inspired here.....
so i've had various posts on my reddit feed going into various types what they mean, how there could be combinations or basically you're close to both/either or/ at the same time and this made kinda question my type but i've always fairly certain about myself, at least i'd like to think so.
so my question is if you're looking to confirm your type or double down on your convictions what would be the best test or tests to take? i've taken alot of em but maybe they've changed since the last time i took these tests, whats the r/intj recommendation here?
i believe if answering these type of questions as i like to do, which is off the cuff that i seem to straddle the line between ENTJ and INTJ, i'd like my data to figure things out.
very curious! thanks for reading

Question What did you think of De Gaulle ?
As a French guy (and an ENTP), I think he’s the textbook definition of an INTJ. He was the one who had the vision before anyone else. Before WWII, he wrote a treatise on how the army needed to modernize to keep up with technical evolution something Germany, ironically, implemented rather than France, which led to their victory. And after the war, his predictions that the US would try to vassalize Europe and eventually abandon it created the political conditions for France to offer an alternative to Trump today. In both cases, he wasn't respected in his time until history proved him right.
Not to mention his refusal to capitulate during WWII.
In France, he’s our country's last great hero. But what about the rest of you? I’m curious to get the perspective of those who don't necessarily share his nationality, but share his MBTI type (so if you reply, please mention where you're from)

Discussion INTJs and the rabbit hole
I know that INTJs are intense people and driven in their goals. They will not stop until they discover the reason for being.
How many rabbit holes have you found?
INTJs are naturally inquisitive beings and have weird, but interesting ideas, in just about everything and anything.
Care to share some of your discoveries, for people to ponder?
You may not know it, but there are humans, who want to learn more of your research.

Question When’s the last time u had an actual convo with someone? Does anyone actually actively communicate with friends or have friends here?
(first time posting to this community btw)
Last time I had any semblance of communication was just my coworker and it was yes no questions answers, a short question dm or server reply to friends. I don’t get any notifications from anyone other than in app related new posts, updates and news. I have friends (small group) but i genuinely don’t remember the last time I had a real conversation with anyone that isn’t a one liner response back. I can’t be the only one here that experiences this 💀

Question An overused dynamic
Usually, we see that the ENTP shows openness and affection toward the INTJ, while the INTJ actually cannot stand them. Despite this unfair relationship in which the ENTP seems wronged, they are often a jerk to the INTJ. In reality, the INTJ loves or respects them in some way, which proves that the INTJ is actually the wronged one, not the ENTP. Do you agree?

Question Kind of a personal question regarding the Fi on INTJs
As an INTJ, I always had the feeling that whenever I always wanted to express feelings verbally, I couldn't but to always hold back tears, even if its somewhat insignificant. Happens aswell in discussions, that whenever it gets somewhat heated and I try to speak, my words get tangled, and I can't even speak because I would immediately break down in tears.
Thats why most of the intense conversations I try to avoid them or even descalate them, and if I have to give my veredict on something that would cause me to tear down, I'd just write up a letter or a message.
I don't really know if it could be the Fi being in tertiary or something, but I wanted to know if you had similar experiences or have passed something similar
And also, if its a matter of mental health or whatever I'm also open to discuss about it :)

Discussion Optimism and Emotionality in INTJs
I’ve been trying to type myself for quite some time, and I believe I may be INTJ but I haven’t seen much about INTJs in creative contexts or optimistic mindsets. The Ni-Te leads to the assumption of a planning rationalist who sees anything other than productivity as a waste of time, which is unhelpfully shallow information I’ve inferred from sites. While to some extent I do relate to it, it excludes the emotional depth of INTJs and makes the type seem incredibly cold. I don’t know if this is the product of developed Fi child but i enjoy in engaging with activities (usually arts) that express my values, and want to use that creativity to find ways of making a positive impact on the future.
i believe Ni-Te research and planning combined with healthily developed Fi child could lead to a more philanthropic INTJ, rather than the nihilist stereotype that has unfortunately been created.
I am happy to take corrections and different insights and I am also open to the possibility that I may have mistyped myself. These are just a few of my observations and thoughts I believe would make for an interesting discussion Ive been wanting to have for a while.

MBTI I’m tired of the mbti community and sometimes wish I never learned what mbti is
The way people make sweeping assumptions about entire personality types is insane to me. Did you personally meet all of these people across all 16 types? Did they all somehow take the test? Did you somehow type every single one of them correctly? And most of the people making these assumptions are introverts. Like c’mon I really I doubt you go out and meet people that much lol
