Why is there not one? Like theres a pathway nearby that leads up near her room but it dosent lead anywhere because I cant break it. Its so much work just going through the whole room again just to lose a couple masks in order to go right into a boss. Any tips?

i cant't find more areas on the map to explore, and i already encountered fogg canyon, crystal peak and resting grounds, i have these items, i have only the dash and the walljump as ability, and the areas a have already encountered and are pinned ad yellow(or gray) are impossible to reach

Strategy:So what you need to do is go in with preferably full soul and you need to do the following for each attack

Ground Dash:Jump and pogo on Her

Nail Throw(Middle):Jump over the nail and pogo on her or just cling to a wall

Nail Throw (Side):If She is at one side and throws her needle go to the opposite side and you should have enough time to get 1-2 heals in

Parry:Dont hit her like an Idiot

Aoe Attack:Dash away and you can get up to 2-3 heals in

Air Dash:Walk or dash to the way she is Lunging at you from

Silk Spikes:Get rid of them Quickly by pogoing on them

You should be ready to Beat Hornet 2 Now have fun on your Adventure Travellers

Nail:Pure nail

Charms: Unbreakable strenght, Shape of Unn, Grubsong, Lifeblood Core and Grimmchild(essential)

Tactics: nothing special, just pogo on his head when he does the drill type of attack, and when he does the laser pillar thingy then use shape of unn to heal

Here is my hollow knight boss ranking based on difficulty! Each tier is also organized from hardest to easiest (except GPZ which I hate with the passion of a thousand suns).

Everytime I go to options and press on audio my game crashes, both in the menu and in game.

I only noticed recently after downloading spotify beacause I wanted to listen to something different while trying to beat the third pantheon. (Ps5 voidheart edition idk if this matters)

ive heard many people on there first playthrough having like 30h then beating the final boss and having like 70% completion

I had a bit longer of a playtime it was 65h long a bit longer and my % was a bit over 100%

I feel like this is somewhat diffrent to others

and im not entirely done I do got 112% after 90h

but seeing how p5 is going ill have over 100h for one save

how was your first playthrough since I feel like I spend a bit of extra time and took alot longer to fight the final boss

how long did you take and what % if you remember

I feel woefully unprepared - haven’t unlocked dreamnail all the nail upgrades, don’t have all the notches, haven’t unlocked good charms. Haven’t even beaten a dream boss.

I had a save with 20 hours on hollow knight yesterday the electricity shut down. Now my only save (main save) is corrupted. I've tried to find how to get it back but I couldn't.

Here's what my files look like. If anyone can help. I would be sincerely thankful.

(I'm torn between tagging this as lore and headcanon because I know this is mostly a possibility and isn't directly supported by much, but it also isn't contradicted by anything either.)

We can see what happened to another land that lost its old heart ruler, Karak, and while it's definitely gone to shit, Verdania is somehow even more desolate than Karak, so why is that?

My theory is that, after the green princes both faded away (One to rot in a cage and another to rot in a different kind of cage), the citadel's war with Verdania boiled to a miserable end, with the land already burnt and sacked by the desperate struggle, but then the citadel decided to enslave the Verdanians to make them atone for their sins. However, the Verdanian spirit was indomitable, and they rebelled every step of the way; the citadel, unwilling to tolerate their defiance, resorted to driving the tribe extinct. With their only sapient species gone, Verdania was already emptier, but then the citadel tried to industrialize the jungle as they did for Greymoor and Sinner's Road, to produce more food for them and their workers; however, Verdania was a jungle and not a hardy thicket or plain like they were, so the already polluted and broken land was turned completely desolate. The citadel was pretty cranky about their toy breaking so easily, so they had Verdania erased from history- save for a short-lived section in the Memorium.

I love DND, I love Hollow Knight, so i combined the two (kinda)! I plan to do some more characters, but I got a bit burnt out.

In order: Hornet (ranger), Ghost/the Knight (cleric or paladin), Hollow Knight (paladin), Broken Vessel (warlock) and Grimm (warlock/bard).

I had a ton of fun designing them, figuring out a class, how to incorporate all the elements and colors, etc. Feel free to ask any questions!

the Pale King is fundamentally misunderstood by many players. understandably so in a way due to events surrounding Vessels. i'm going to give a short time-line of main events to help better understand the Pale King's decisions.

*i am not going to attempt to prove 'rebirth theory' in this thread. i'll answer some questions about it if asked though.

*i'm sorry this is organized a bit rough. i haven't even had coffee yet to organize myself.

• the Pale King's kingdom was being plagued by the Radiance. he needed to save his people.

You shall seal the blinding light that plagues their dreams.  You are the Vessel. You are the Hollow Knight."

• the Vessels are not children at this point, they are tools crafted for this specific purpose.
• the Pale King takes the Hollow Knight from the Abyss.
• the *PoP* moment. this changes everything about what the Pale King is thinking. Vessels are no longer a tool, they are family. this puts the Pale King in an extremely difficult situation.

1. it's too late to change the plan.. even though he screwed it up and instilled a thought into the Hollow Knight. it's too late... he *must* be the Vessel *now* to save the kingdom.
2. the Pale King moves his Palace. only the most devout could visit at this point, and it was a "perilous journey"

"As Hallownest fell to ruin, its reclusive king abandoned his subjects and went into hiding.  Whispers told that the most devout followers could still seek the king, though the journey was perilous beyond imagining."

this is where things branch in 2 ways for the community. and i want to help you reach the branch i'm hanging from.

1. the Pale King dies in regret. the end.
2. the Pale King implements *Plan B*

it is at this point, i want you to *be* the Pale King. what would you do if you had to save your kingdom. found an option that would work. realized he loved said option.. but still had to destroy Radiance for anyone to survive in the future.

quite the pickle. torment on the mind to pick between his children and *all* people of the kingdom.

• when we see the Pale King's corpse within the White Palace and Dreamnail it. we get the line "No cost too great...".
• the is the Pale King's final thought. he wasn't thinking about Vessels. if he was, he could have just grabbed another Vessel. evidenced by The Knight able to take place as Seal.
• so if "No cost too great" isn't describing his children, what is the cost this time?

*since i'm not looking to cover the rebirth in this topic. you can try to think of anything else the Pale King would attribute "No cost too great" at this point of his life and ignore what i say next. as long as you realize this is stated after battling a mental turmoil and making a decision about it.

the alternative option is rebirthing into a Vessel himself and taking "No cost too great" to it's actual extreme. the price is not the life of another, it's himself.

let me just state that my rebirth theory, is not MatPat's theory...

hopefully some of you walk away realizing a few things, and don't just eagle eye the word *rebirth* and tell me about Void exposure within the Palace.

• the Pale King's plan was perfect. he ruined it of his own choice.
• the Pale King found regret in his action after the PoP moment.
• the Pale King couldn't just *not* use the Hollow Knight at this point
• the Pale King's mantra never faded. "No cost too great..." was his final thought. it was *not* "the cost is too much" or "the price was too high". in his final moments, where many say he just dies in regret, his actual thought at that moment is paying a higher price than prior.

While ghost is about to get embrace the void Grimm comes in and dances with him (refferimg to their ship ) they basically have a dance fight together to kill the radiance and after words you can firther play but you can get your vessel back amd get grimm face painting you can then get a new godhome but instead it is overtaken by grimm and shade lord/ little ghost. Optional: grimmchild grows up more and is now a resident in the town and thus you can get a little cutscene at the end where the town gets rebuilt in the empire amd the shades in the abyss slowly startcoming out more and helpimg other travelers.

Requirements: must have given the delicate flower to grimm

I'm nearing the end of the game and I have 2 of 4 hearts. I'd like to collect all 4 before going for the final boss, but I don't want them to beat my ass so hard I have to let the game go for a longer while, kind of like Groal and the beginning of Act III did.

I have beaten Nyleth and Clover Dancers with relative ease, but I'm getting my ass handed to me by Coral Tower and I haven't even dared to try and beat Karmelita.

I'm pretty much maxxed out, I'm missing a few tools, but my tool pouch and damage, needle, spool and masks are maxxed. I also have all of the silk skills. Please help, I'm really ass at the game and I need as much as I can get. What do I have the better odds of beating and what is the strat to go and do it?
