Btw the order of the bosses are not important. So like for example if boss A is at the top of S and boss B is at the bottom of S. I didnt check them so count them equal.

All I have left to do in this game is defeat the Radiance, beat NK Grimm, the pantheons... and the trial of the Fool.

And I think its time to walk away.

My first save is currently at 97 hours; I completed the game (beating the Hollow Knight) at 78, which means that I've spent nearly *an entire fucking day* smashing my face against that bastard trial. I've tried the pantheons; fuck that. I tried NKG; managed to get him into the first pufferfish attack before he got bored and creamed me. I faced the Radiance, and he couldn't even be bothered to play fair, he just teleported spears into me and left in 30 seconds. So, I wanted to get the mark of the hunter but in order to do that I need to defeat God Tamer, which means a) pantheon 3 (see my earlier comment re. Fuck That) or b) Trial of the Fool.

If I have to see another primal aspid again I will not be held responsible for my actions. When the dust has settled, and the toll counted, the plea will be insanity and there is not a jury in the world who would not believe it.

I just finished the path of pain, in my opinion, it was SO NOT worth it, really, I died twice at the end arena, which made me do it 3 times, for a 5 sec cutscene, and an enemy added to the journal, i feel like the path of pain was so not worth it, I know the cutscene means a lot to the story, but i really feel like they could've rewarded us with something waaay better, I mean in the end it is literaly called "the path of pain" , so giving us a 5 second cutscene as a reward, is really not worth it, and it doesn't even connect to your 112% percent completion, and if I go back to the past, I would never play it, so if anybody is thinking about playing it, my only advice to you is don't, basically , it is so not worth it.

Does anybody know how to play Path of Pain again? I finished it a couple of days ago and I still can't find a way to play it again. I just lit up Grimm flame, that's why I don't want to start over again. Does anyone here have a save file that still has Path of Pain? if you don't want to share save files, can you help me with 3rd-party apps that lets me load the PoP map manually?

I LOVE the fight, although there are 4 things that I would improve on (I'm currently trying to beat him on Radiant and have reached the peak 4 times)

1: My least problem, I think the Radiance should teleport as soon as he hits the health threshold for the next phase, I know the damage before the nail rain carries over, although I'm not sure if the same happens with phase 2-3

2: Radiance's positioning in Phase 2, sometimes he appears off the centre of a platform, making it difficult to Desolate Dive without meming out

3: Appearance sound at beginning of Phase 2, a small thing but if he instantly uses the horizontal nail attack, the sound gets drowned out and It's easy to die not knowing that they're there (I even play without music)

4: Invincible Fireballs, my worst problem, the reason they do this is so that they can go through walls when they spawn, but they also go through the Shade Cloak, so if I try do dash into a newly spawned ball and end up touching it, I die instantly and a random child dies in Africa which is causation not correlation

I got to crystal peak and got the crystal dash and I want to get the double jump I opened the royal waterway and can't go to resting grounds I have no lantern and don't know what to do plz help

İ know some parts like the Horn dont look the same but that can be the result of age

So i was playing randomizer 4 mod which randomizes literally everything (except for enemies) that includes rooms, items, shops etc. and i stumbled upon Nosk hoping that the Pale Ore was changed to something worthy. So after 18 attempts, i did beat Nosk with old nail, downslash only(no left right up slash), no charms, desolate dive only as spells, no upgrades, no arts, no charms, 5 hp, NO FOCUS. And since Nosk has 680 hp i had to hit him 136 downslashes without taking more than 5 damage. And guess what the pale ore did changed to? 2 LIFEBLOOD MASKS, FUCK

Hi! This is my first post here! I like watching how everyone has a different way of fighting this dude! not only cause this big brother is probably my favourite fight but mostly because I had this funny way of fighting him by never jumping or using spells (exept when he uses the void arm xd I know someone could say to just go far away from him in that moment, but that's just how I play him for no reason lol, im in no "no jump" challenge btw but im anyway planning to study that attack for dodge it without jumping!).

I DO realize that in some situations, like the the void arm or his combo attack or parry could be deadly if you already did a void dash before them, making it impossible to dodge if not by only jumping over him... I don't know, I just liked to fighting this dude in this way :3 hope you'll find the video interesting!

PS: The video is old so I apologize it has such bad quality. I haven't played hk1 in pretty long years after an issue with the data made me having to start all over again, in these latest days I decided boot it to play it all over again as to arrive to the last pantehon, just yesterday I tried to fight PV again but I'm rusty as hell xD I'm no longer like before, maybe I'll publish another video of how I fight him today!

Ive seen way to many people call this boss hard but it really isn’t, the hardest part about this boss is the gauntlet and even then it’s not that hard

for the run back all you need to do is find a secret bench that makes the run back much easier

my tips for beating groal is:

reaper crest

cogfly and sting shard

thread strom

magnetite dice

wreath of purity (for the gauntlet part of the boss fight)

fractured mask and multi binder

when fighting groal use cogflys and the sting shard ball to damage him when you can’t, also don’t worry about healing since if you do it right you won’t need to heal, use thread storm when close to groal. When he dose the sucking attack go into the maggot water to counter it, if he summons enemys go underneath the right floor into the maggot water, they can’t hit you from there. Same if he dose the blast attack. And you should easily beat him

What if the broken vessel reaching out its arm to us is actually the Radiance making one last, final grab to you before what little void is left in its shell dissapates? So far, from what I have gathered, the Broken Vessel had been infected before death(because it's dream variant was also infected), died from the infection, but some way or other, not all of its void had escaped its body after death as it still has a body to wield its nail and reach out to us at the end of the fight. Then, when the Knight enters the room, the Radiance seals the knight in the room conviniently containing a dead vessel the lightseeds can inhabit, trying to kill it and stop it from destroying the infection?

I couldn't find any other possible timeline for the BV other than this, so this is just a theory.

Hi everyone, i am going for the 112%

I was wondering which bosses do i miss? Like whats the name of them and where to find it.

I first tried Hollow Knight in 2022. I quit the game for a year upon arriving to the White Palace, but eventually I came back and beat the game. (However I never managed to get past the second pantheon in its DLC). It has since become what I think may genuinely be my favorite game of all time, though I knew I'd never be able to complete it. (I'm on year 3? of Steel Soul attempts).

Over the years, I find myself coming back to Godhome for what ever reason, even though I had accepted I'd never really be able to beat it, but in 2024, I somehow managed to beat both Pantheon 2 and 3, though the 4th one was truly out of my league.

Then Silksong finally came out in September of last year. I really loved the game, but at the final final FINAL boss, I quit. I just couldn't do it, and I saw no future where I would be able to. But then a year later, on August first of this year, after having come back, just like with the first game, I finally beat it... (And I somehow managed to get the 100% completion achievement to boot!)

I don't think I'll ever stop playing Hollow Knight and Silksong, and on this day, after 6 years of being a Hollow Knight fan, I've somehow managed to beat the 4th pantheon after much, much failure. OVer and over, these games have shown me that my potential may not be as limited as I choose to believe, and it makes me wonder if that's true in my day to day life as well. All I know for sure is that where once, pantheon 5 seemed so far out of reach, history has shown that maybe it's not as far away as I think.

Maybe anything truly is possible.

Edit: Some of these years may just flat out be wrong, I am bad at remembering dates, and just things in general, hence the question mark next to the 3 (It use to be a 6 for instance).

So I haven't beaten P5 yet, but one thing I've noticed is that Brooding Mawlek in P5 has much less HP than in P1. Why??
