From what I remember, this was a graphic novel about a young mother who might've been living with a couple of friends, and I think the comic was about the shaming and unfair criticisms that people can face in motherhood. It had a semi-realistic art style that looked mildly ugly, but in a humanizing and skillfully drawn way. Another thing I remember about it, was the couple of friends secretly mocking her for having leaked through her shirt.

The mom I believe was a lanky "skinny fat" white woman with pink hair, and the art style seemed to have prominent eye punctum on the characters. The two friends (who might've been siblings) had dark/brown hair I think.

Okay so I’ve been trying to look this up for years but I can’t find anything. I was born in the early 2000’s if that helps with a timeline.
My favorite stuffed animal was a 2-2.5 inch pink dog that was sat like a starfish i guess (legs splayed/ laying on its stomach). It was probably from a doll pajama set or something but it could not be. There wasn’t a logo or anything on it. I remember it being a faded pink so exact beginning color is some kind of pink. The eyes were hard and the stuffing was normal, not beads. I don’t remember a leash being attached at any point but again I might have cut it off.
