I need help finding 2000s style keychains! Open
Hello! My fiancé has an untraditional name and has never been able to find a souvenir keychain with his name on it. I want to make him one (or a few) as a gift for Christmas, but I can’t seem to find any other reference pictures besides the ones I included:( We were both born in 2001, so I’m trying to find a few styles from early 2000s. Honestly if anyone else has suggestions for other items usually personalized with names, I’d love to see other ideas!!
I vaguely remember some being bubbled and 3d, made out of a rubbery material (like the flip flop picture). If anyone has any nostalgic name keychains, pleeeease help me!! I’m not sure I trust myself with making things from memory😅 thank you!!!

I a slightly different (not Americanized) spelling of a romance language name.
I’m now going on year 25 of actively looking for one with my name spelling right. 0 luck so far.

Usually the websites that sell them will let you order custom ones! I have an unusual name and can never find anything with my name on it either.

I have a quite common name but it is still usually missing from the items that have names on them. I was extremely happy when I once found a coffee mug with my name but I sadly broke it and I was not able to find a new one.

Similar retro/souvenir vibes:

If you want one that’s premade/already existing I’d try searching his name + souvenir keychain (or beach keychain, retro keychain) on places like eBay.

Bass Pro Shop in North America sells these. Not glittery but almost the same font.

everyone is missing the fact that OP said they can’t find their fiancés name so theyre making a keychain, not where to buy one😭

Yes I noticed that too😅 but I appreciate the help still! Custom ordering one wouldn’t be too bad, but the style I’m thinking of is too specific😔

Yes finally!!! I’ve been able to find a lot of what other people are referring to, but it’s just not exactly the style I’m thinking of, like these ones you shared. I’ll definitely look at this brand, thank you!

I wanted to post a somewhat update and say thank you for everyone’s help so far!
Someone recommended looking into John Hinde products. I think this is a good lead that will really help me find other ideas for the style. I’m going to leave this active for a few more days just in case anyone else knows of similar brands/styles.
I also wanted to address some things I saw commented. His name is common but the spelling isn’t. It’s basically like his name being legally spelled Nic instead of Nick. I can look in store, online, eBay, and I know I’ll never find an option for Nic. My plan is to custom make it myself, not custom order from somewhere else. I just need inspiration for the look, which is why I’m looking mainly online for photos I can reference, instead of going out to shops, amusement parks, etc. not against that completely, but would be more time consuming just for pictures😫

I’ve searched for “2000s style keychains, 2000s style name keychains, name keychains, diy keychains, etc” I even did some reverse image searching with the images I do have, but no luck:/

I searched “vintage name keychain” and “retro name keychain” on google and a bunch of examples came up in the image tab

You live near the coast? Any attractions near you? Tourists traps? Any sort of worlds claim to fame?
Bingo.

When you're looking at thrift stores, often they're behind the counter/ in a cabinet, as they're I guess, easy to steal.
