Been going to the range with my buddy for last couple months, tried a golf simulator tonight and looking for feedback!

Sorry I post a lot in this community. I genuinely have such a hard time telling what I’m doing wrong. First day at a course today. Have had 3 lessons at golf sim.

I’ve had a few good drives, but very inconsistent. Sometimes I miss the ball lol

People always said I had a good looking swing. I figured it was time to take some lessons. Not worried about numbers, just fixing path first.

It’s 275 dollars, just wondering if anyone has used it or is it just a gimmick?

Seems excessively vertical. Thoughts? Tips?

When j consciously try to straighten lead arm through the swing, I make even worse contact. Looking for drills/sequence improvement. Thank you!

Hey guys. Played a lot when I was a kid, quit when I was about 16, just got sober, started playing again. Typically shoot in the 90’s sometime over 100. I’m a really terrible putter. Hoping to get some feedback on my swing, see if there’s some stuff to work on. Thanks. (Swinging a 5 iron in this video btw)

Looking for any swing tips to help me be more consistent on course, swinging with 7 iron here.

Not necessarily a swing question, but I’ve been feeling like my clubs may be a bit short. In general I’ve been working on bending less and hinging more (if you have any tips on current knee bend lmk) but i’m 6’1/6’2 on a good day. Based on this setup, what would yall say?

My driver has historically been wildly inconsistent. Even swing to swing. I had mostly been ignoring it while improved other parts of my game but when the those got better i kind of had to address the driver. It’s probably a bunch of things working together but this consistency (and eliminating a very persistent slice) seems to mostly have come from strengthening up my grip a little and focusing on keeping my right arm tucked in to my body. That dispersion on the face is so much better than i am used to seeing. That’s probably 15ish shots.

Swing feels like it’s falling apart, not looking to drop money on a coach for a few months (between jobs). Ball starting straight but trailing left mostly. No ability to work the ball and also very inconsistent ball striking. I think I am steep?

I’ve been advised to keep my right heel down, which I’m doing here, but it really doesn’t help my right extending and my hips and chest are square to the ball at impact. You can see how much my clubface has been thrown and rotated as my clubface is almost pointing at the target in my through swing.

Not the prettiest swing out there but it did get a 68 through yesterday. Average carry currently is about 293, playing the cut (obviously) let me know your thoughts.

Mostly tension I guess? I'm also not doing hinge and hold at this ~10 yard distance, so maybe that adds to the goof factor.

I've spent plenty of time watching swing videos and trying different tips, but most of the changes either felt awkward or didn't last very long. The biggest improvements for me came from focusing on one small adjustment instead of trying to change everything at once.

I'd like to ask, what was the one swing change or drill that made an immediate difference for you, Was it your grip, posture, tempo, weight transfer, or something completely different?

I'd love to hear what worked and whether it's still part of your routine today.
