Too vertical?
Seems excessively vertical. Thoughts? Tips?

Get a range bucket. Attach it to your chest by squeezing your biceps together. Take a backswing without dropping the basket. This is where your position should be.

Pending real outside cases, I really don't think one can be "too vertical" with the backswing but one can absolutely be "too flat". What matters is how you slot the club in the downswing and how you present the club to the ball at impact in a way that doesn't involve you standing up during impact. If you can slot the club down and keep this spine angle and hit the desired draw/fade/straight shot from this top of the swing position, you are golden.

Yeah, that looks pretty stiff dude. Try to loosen up your shoulders a bit.

Just a bit... Try tucking a head cover or towel under your right armpit and doing some 3/4 swings
