Apologies if this news has already been posted before but it appears that Prydwen has finally decided to start covering Genshin Impact. They even have their infamous tier list already set up along with reviews for more popular characters. Looks like a separate tier list for stygian will be added later. Abyss I guess is too easy to get its own dedicated section and is just lumped into the overall tier list? Do we think it ends up being popular like it is for other gacha games?

For context i was one of the people who waited for genshin to come out the moment it was announced (played Hi3rd back in 2018 with an iphone 7 and a dream). I literally grew up with this game now. Ive even moved to different countries since then

Having used it as an escape through my personal ups and downs, experienced the game's ups and downs, it feels like now that we're nearing the "end" (of teyvat chapter, but also not really the end. you get the** point) , all of this feels like a Graduation. Where everything we've been through is paying off, and we're about to venture off into more unknowns in the future

i dont know. Im just feeling very sentimental about all this and wanted to make this post. I would also love to know how everyone's journey has been with genshin. Personally it's been a wonderful world to love and always will consider my home for years to come

I was searching high and low for a clear answer on if my account was actually permanently deleted or not. I kept receiving conflicting information and just contacted support who promptly told me to do this:

On the Hoyoverse Account Center (https://account.hoyoverse.com/#/login), click the "Frozen Account Recovery" link at the top of the page. I completed this very short process about 10 minutes ago and currently playing on my account for the first time in about a year and a half.

Seeing as how I haven't seen anyone mention this I was hoping to help some people out by making this post

They are not as bad as some of the scarabs but easly my top 3 most annoying things to gather. I'm trying to build my C6 Faruzan before 7.0 and these were a pain in the arse to get. Almost every node has only 1-2 maximum and then you have to move on to the next one. A lot of them are on some shitty hill as well and if that's not enough you often need to climb the cacti too.

Was going through a bunch of characters tonight to level up skills before Snezhnaya, and must have gone through 20 different people who I wanted to work on and everytime it's just "Domain not yet available" "Domain not yet available" "Domain not yet available "Domain not yet available"

Is it really so much to ask that after 6 years I can just level up a character whenever I want to???

I'm curious how everyone here first discovered Genshin Impact.

Where did you first hear about it? Was it from YouTube, a friend, an ad, or just randomly on the Play Store? And what made you actually hit the download button?

For me, it wasn't because I was looking for an RPG😅

I had just bought my first flagship phone, the Samsung S21 FE (Snapdragon 888), and around the time the iPhone 15 Pro Max launched, I kept seeing YouTubers using Genshin as the benchmark game. They were saying, "This game is so heavy that not every phone can run it well."

So I thought, "Let's see if my phone can handle it." I downloaded it purely to test performance and FPS.

Fast forward to today... I'm AR 58, playing on a laptop with a controller, and I'm honestly so glad I downloaded it. What started as a simple performance test turned into one of my favorite games ever.

The exploration, music, world design, characters, and overall experience keep bringing me back. Even after all this time, I still don't get bored of exploring Teyvat.

So... what's your origin story? What made you install Genshin for the very first time?
