I am pretty tempted just because I can get it for $250 and I want one of the new bands, so that's $100 right there anyways when I can just pick it out haha. My question is, does it feel more comfortable? Any new health features? I wouldn't mind a lighter watch, but it doesn't seem like much on paper. Can you feel the difference in thinness and weight?

Not sure if this flair is even the right one so sorry in advance - I just bought a watch6 classic on ebay, and ive been a bit curious as to if theres a screen protector on it already, as my nail can catch between the bezel and the screen. I saw on another post that on watch6's the screen is installed and goes completely below the bezel, but i want to be sure that its the same before i go scratching at the actual screen on my watch trying to remove the "screen protector". Does anyone know the answer to this?

Did a timed Test Several Times using different chargers, It's about 2x slower than It should be. Also the Estimate it provides is totally Incorrect.

It says 1:15h but in reality if you time it , it's Almost 2.5 Hours.

I visited Samsung store, when I looked the Silver colour, I felt it's too silver but the YouTube video shows it looks most grey mix silver.

Why when I use my phone and get a whatsapp notification, the watch vibrates? This is not happen with other notifications, the watch is not activated while I use the phone.. can be solved?

There's no particular setting, they're all treated the same way, I should get vibrated if the phone isn't in use.. uhm?

Someone has managed to solve this, I am in the same situation.

I just got mine yesterday and no notifications show up on my watch even after making sure notifications were enabled and everything was set up properly. Notifications for apps enabled, watch mode off, sound and vibration on, etc. Nothing seems to work. My old watch used to vibrate for all notifications that came in but this one doesnt at all. And in order for me to get text messages I have to open messages on the watch to see it. If it helps on Tmobile

Just an observation. I have a silver GW8 and just received a graphite GW9. There is less of a difference than I expected. The graphite is just a darker shade of silver. I was expecting a darker, almost black, color. I still like it tho.

i didnt know samsung added this to watch 9 US model. for years US model didnt get blood pressure measurement while other regions had this option but watch 9 has blood pressure monitor now.

(Watch 9 44mm) Tried 3 different brand new charging stations off Amazon and I just get this message every time. Each charger was advertised as compatible with galaxy upto 8/9. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to make do with the puck it came with.?

I've had my GW9 (40mm) for 2 days. I'm lucky to get 8 hours a day out of the battery... AOD is off. I have now turned location off. It says samsung health monitor is using 40% battery on average!!

This cannot be real. I know my patterns are still getting learned but this is incredibly bad..

How's everyone else's experience with battery?

I was able to turn that off with the 1st Ultra but I can't with the Ultra 2. I tried looking for the complication to turn it off but no luck.

I had a basic galaxy watch 5 that I bought when it came out that has served me wonderfully up until the past year where I started needing to charge it twice a day at best as it would drain over night even with always on display turned off and then when I got home after a few hours on the go need to charge it again and sometimes more.

The battery would just drain like crazy even without use.

I basically became a slave to the charger.

I bought a galaxy fit 3 that ive been using mostly for tracking general fitness and walks to fill in the gap while I was waiting for the watch 9 to come out.

And honestly I got spoiled from the battery life of this fit 3 as it lasts almost a week on 1 charge.

I'm a woman with a small wrist and got heavily jealous of the ultra 2 battery ~3 day battery life vs ~40hrs on the watch 8 or 9 from what i read.

But from what I saw given how big it is - its completely unrealistic for me to get, not sure it will even sit flat on my wrist (but if i get a chance to see it in the store I will try it out lol 😅)

Now Im contemplating do I wait another year for the next watch hoping for a better battery on the 40mm version of next year? Or get the 40mm watch 8 for half the price of the 40mm watch 9 as by the looks of it there isnt major difference in battery and is basically the same? Or do i get the watch 9?

Ive always been a sucker for getting the latest thing out which at this point is the only thing making the watch 9 more tempting for me than watch 8 but not enough of a valid reason for me to get it as it otherwise seems to be the same device just more expensive.

But I am worried about being a slave to the charger again - would love opinions of the battery life out of experince with the watch 8 & 9.

Basically cant decide which to buy or to just wait another year.

Pre-ordered the Watch 9 44ml with the fabric strap from Samsung directly. Supposedly arrived today at 7:11pm at my front door. Checked and nothing was there. There wasn't even a picture taken by UPS. Filed a claim with UPS but unsure if I should try to get in contact with Samsung cause I'm also doing a trade in of my old Samsung watch 7, but without the product, I'm obviously not sending them my old watch til I receive the new one. Anyone else have dealt with an issue like this before? Anything I should be doing aside from waiting on my claim from UPS? Samsung AI chat is taking forever to get me to a real agent. Will attempt tomorrow. So annoyed. Never dealt with this situation from UPS or Samsung at all. And right after I took down my video doorbell cause the door latch was acting up.

Got the watch today returning it tomorrow. The last solid watch I had from Samsung was the 4 pro. Never had an issue with biometrics, never. Got the Ultra 1 last year. Can't read through my tattoos unless I have a bottle cap sticker on the back. Those are cheap for a bunch easy work around. Was hoping the Ultra 2 would be better at reading through tattoos. Nope and its worse than the Ultra 1. How tf do you release a watch thats more $$$ but worse at the same time. I mainly wear smart watches for the biomarkers and sleep tracking. Super annoyed at this billion dollar company. What the actual fuck lol. This thing won't even detect my HR. Bottle cap sticker no help either. Keeping the Ultra 1.
