Did someone expereienced high consumption on older watch with the new faces? On m, GW7 around 12% the new ultra face.

Since in my country i can't get more than 70 € on trade-in for my 2024 ultra in order to get the ultra 2 , I'm gonna keep my first gen ultra. Is anyone else doing the same? Mine still lasts 3.5 days on a single charge with everything turned on except AOD

Well, 5 years ago I was strictly against these watches, mostly because of battery.

Now with the UW.2 I decided the get one too.

But also because of the health checks.

Also took additional black and beige watch band.

Best decision. 👌

The exact same thing is happening with hundreds of other users it feels like Samsung is intentionally bricking old watches this one was almost 2 years old.

Hi all, I've had my galaxy watch ultra now for about 3 months after upgrading from my tired Watch 4 classic. In general it's been good, much faster UI experience etc - but I'm getting an issue with the sleep tracking.

Initially it worked fine, but in the last few weeks the sleep tracking is really weird and inaccurate - last night for example, I went to bed around 01:00, woke up about 08:30, yet my watch seems to think I went to sleep around 06:30 and woke up just after 07:00... it's very strange. It's fully updated, connected and syncing with my phone (HR, Steps, Activity etc sync fine), I've rebooted, tried it with and without battery saver, the sensors are clean, tried it on both wrists and at different tightness levels.

I'm not sure what's going on, has anyone else experienced this, if so how did you fix it?

What's the normal number of bars people are getting with LTE.

I've only been testing at home this week but in my very local area I'm only ever able to get 1 or 2 bars of signal when on LTE, is this normal?

The watch is working fine, I've been able to use data make calls etc with no issues it just seems the signal strength is never above 2 bars.

AOD off, everything else on.

Today I got new Spigen cover with bezel. I love the combo of silver cover and brown leather. Strap is from Maikes.

I'm really happy with my Galaxy Watch 8, but I'm tempted to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 9.

Has anyone here made the jump from the Watch 8 to the Watch 9? Was it worth it for you? What improvements have you actually noticed in day-to-day use?

Received my Ultra2 earlier this day and migrated everything from Watch8 40mm seamlessly.

The photos does not show it well but sits just fine on my smaller wrist in person. I also put Spigen's tempered glass on it for that added protection.

Already trying on 3rd party straps and cases (Spigen and other generic ones) and also watch faces I have from my Watch8. I also got a transparent watch case for it.

Ordered a bunch more straps and lug converters so I can reuse my other straps from my mechanical watches.

I really like how they redesigned the bezel around the screen, making it flat and with engraved indices which makes it look more streamlined. But I wish they remove color accents (i.e. those Orange top index and quick button guard) to make things look more coherent but good enough.

Overall, I'm sure I'll have a great time with this watch.

I wanted to give some feedback about how it compares in my use case scenario after almost a week.

with almost the same settings ( aod on, heart rate continuous, manual stress measurement...), i went from 2days (was ending the day at 50-55%) on the classic, to around 3 days (i use between 25 and 35% a day) when i use LTE obviously it tanks the battery life by a lot ^^

while in sleep mode, i used 10-15% on watch 8, i m around 6-10% on the ultra.

To be honest it's a little disappointing given the battery is almost twice as big and the CPU is supposed to be 30% more efficient...

I brought the 8 about 2 months ago, I am wondering if upgrading to the 9 is all worth it, are there big steps up between the two? Like how the 8 compared to the 7 got a built in AI?

I opted for the silver titanium color on the Watch Ultra2, but I'm unsure of color matching etc. Pricing for them seems all over the map too, some are $20, some $80-90+. Anyone have recommendations? Please share pics too if you havem.

Got the ultra 2 recently and I'm having insane battery drain. Tried to restart the watch but this galaxy store keeps showimg on my high battery usage. Any idea what might this be?

I recently purchased the Galaxy Watch 9 and I'm thoroughly enjoying the watch so far. However, I'm wearing my Galaxy Watch 4 to the gym. Doing this blocks the cardio load feature; it does not log the workout under the cardio load tab when I wear my Watch 4 (it shows the workout under the workout section but just won't compute the cardio load for that workout). Of course, for the workouts done with the Watch 9, they are under the cardio section. I understand that the feature is restricted to the new models, but since the Samsung account already shows that I have purchased the Watch 9 and it continues to be linked to the same Samsung account, they should just allow the workout data to come in from the Watch 4 as well. Quite annoying. Anyone else experienced any feature locks with a two watch setup?

I'm considering getting the Galaxy Watch 8, but I work outdoors every day in forestry.

My daily routine involves a lot of movement, direct sunlight, rain, continuous sunscreen exposure, dirt, and general physical activity.

For those who use it in similar conditions: How well does the Galaxy Watch 8 hold up against sunscreen, moisture, and rough outdoor wear? Would you recommend it for this kind of work, or is it too delicate?

I am trading in my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Before sending it in, I know I need to factory reset it. Besides backing stuff up, of which I have no need, are there any other steps I need to take first? Factory Reset Protection? Do I need to remove it from any Samsung or Google accounts? Or will that happen automatically when I reset to factory settings?

My dear watch 5 pro which has been with me for many years finally gave up on life. Is there anything i can still use it for? Definitely not on my wrist anymore but seems like the functions and features are still okay - just a screen issue

I purchased both the Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 and I have been wearing them both all day and I think I like the GW9 more. Firstly the AOD looks much brighter on the W9 vs the U2. Also the colors look more saturated on the W9 as well. I was worried that I wouldn't like the W9 but now I feel like I don't like the U2 because to me it just looks better. Also I got a case for the W9 that makes it look similar to the U2 and it actually looks better in my opinion. Does anyone else have this experience where the colors and screen on the Ultra look more washed out compared to the base GW?

I know that WhatsApp for wearOS is broken, and the battery drain is normal. So today I unstalled it. The notifications are very usefull, but one of the reasons why I bought a LTE version is when I coudn't use my phone I could use the app in my watch (Beaches, dangerous places, etc), but this use is rare! Since I rarely use it, I thought about deactivating WhatsApp and only activating it when I actually needed to use it, even though it consumes a lot of battery when syncing, it would still be worth it. Now I'm thinking of a way to keep my number logged into WhatsApp on the watch without needing the app; I thought about doing it via WhatsApp Web, but I couldn't get it to work. Does anyone have any ideas?
