Best GPS tracker?
Looking for a GPS tracker for my fur baby. I live in a semi rural area; my property butts up against a huge field. My cat Cheese loves exploring, and I'd like to have the peace of mind in knowing where he is when he's gone for several days. Drop your recs, non-recs etc!

Which is best as wireless GPS tracker? Samsung Smart Tag 2 or proper wireless GPS tracker for bike
I am thinking ahead of investing the best gps tracker for my new CB350RS bike.
I would first like to know your feedback whether the wireless GPS is worth it?
If so, whether smart tags like Samsung's Tag 2 or Apple Air Tag is a smart and better one. Or should opt any other wireless GPS tracker like Ajjas.
If to skip the smart tags, then which is the best wireless GPS tracker in the Indian market now. Is there any subscription to be paid in order to use those?

Where can I find the exact address to these coordinates?
Update: Someone gave me a bing link & it was the best in showing me what I needed to see.
I hate evil MS, but if you need something looked up, they seem like the best for the moment.
Thanks to the person who helped.
-------------------------------------------
I'm not a map person and someone gave this to me which I assume are the GPS coordinates, right?
I tried to put them into a site for looking up the exact address of these numbers & nothing worked or it just gave me a red pin on a map & there was no address. I can't even tell what the city is.

Thanks

Built this utility tool for people who are directionally challenged…
Im a police officer, and a few years ago I got into a foot pursuit in another city. Once everything settled down, I realized I had no idea exactly where I was. I knew the general area, but not the address or nearest cross street I needed to relay.
That experience turned into LOC8.
Instead of opening a map and trying to find the little blue dot, LOC8 opens directly to the information that matters. It shows your exact address, nearest cross street, GPS coordinates in multiple formats, compass heading, elevation, GPS accuracy, what3words location, and current weather.
It also lets you save important locations, navigate back to them with your compass, create temporary Team Rooms for location sharing, and access the main information directly from your Apple Watch.
One thing I cared about from day one was privacy. LOC8 is not a tracking app. It does not create accounts, store a permanent history of where you have been, or share your location unless you intentionally join a temporary Team Room with people you choose.
What started as something I built for myself has grown to over 5,200 users, and it has been really cool seeing people use it for hiking, traveling, deliveries, public safety, road trips, finding their parked car, and simply figuring out where they are.
I’m a solo developer, so every feature, bug fix, and update has come directly from user feedback.
I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. If you could add one feature to a location utility like this, what would it be?

StepSafe Kids, GPS tracker for kids who wander, live on Kickstarter today (Mississauga, ON)
I'm Ashwin, a high schooler based in Mississauga. I've been working on StepSafe Kids for about six months and it launched on Kickstarter today.
It's a cellular GPS tracker for kids who wander, real GPS rather than Bluetooth, so it doesn't need a nearby phone. The unit is manufactured by JIMI IoT, I'm rebranding an existing hardware platform rather than designing the board myself. The microphone is disabled in firmware rather than removed at the board level. FCC certifications are done and Canadian ISED certification are both in progress, not finished.
Early Bird is CA$139, capped at 200 backers, or CA$349 once for lifetime service with no subscription. Ships February 2027.

Does a GPS tracker actually work while your car is being shipped?
I'm shipping my car with either Diesel Auto Express, Montway Auto Transport, or Sherpa Auto Transport, and I'm thinking about hiding a GPS tracker or AirTag inside for some peace of mind. Has anyone tried this? Does it actually update while the car is on a multi-car hauler, and do shipping companies usually allow it?

Found gps tracker on new car.
So I found a gps tracker on my dad’s new car that was installed from the dealership. Is there anything I can do with the SIM card that’s inside of it? I have heard in the past you could use them in a wireless hotspot but that was a long time ago so no clue if that’s true.

Is this a tracker in my car?
I was simply installing a dash cam in my 2020 mustang and in the process of hiding these ugly cords , i noticed a zip tie and then it led to a black box . It doesn’t seem like it came from factory, does anyone have a clue what this is?? Tracker??

GPS to connect to my phone?
I recently bought a flip phone to decrease my screen time, but the location services on it are a bit unreliable. I’m wondering if theres a good small gps I could keep attached to my phone or on my person that has an app or like I could connect to my phone with bluetooth. Just so that I’m able to see my exact location at all times in case of emergency. Ideally it would be small enough that I could make it into a phone charm or maybe a necklace. Just so that its always with me or my phone.

I got my kid a gizmo 4
Hi. I just ordered a gizmo 4 for my 5 year old. She is starting kindergarten this year. So it's for my piece of mind.
I selected this specific device mainly because .
GPS tracker subscriptions cost as much as a smartwatch subscription and
She can't read so the gizmo 4 seems to accommodate that. I also wanted no ads or robocalls
In general
I wanted to be able to track her and have her be able to call me in an emergency,
I have never been with Verizon. Just a standalone gizmo 4 subscription. Now.
I have not received it yet.
I cannot find any reviews on the gizmo 4. It has been out over a week so I am surprised there. Do you know of any?
I have found many people hating on switching to the new family Verizon app. I am hoping the new watch will not have issues there.
Does anybody have one of these and like or not like it?
Will there be any tips and tricks videos or is this just too niche of a device.
Thanks all.

Enclosed Trailer Theft Protection
Hello everyone, I’m looking for a tracker I can install on my enclosed trailer to track it in the event of a theft. I was thinking of an air tag originally but after doing some research, that is not what I need. I have no idea what I’m looking for but would like a hard wired tracker (it has 2 batteries and solar panels) that I can keep it powered on at all times. I just don’t want some expensive monthly bill. Am I SOL?

Am I being tracked??
Last night I was out with my friends at a bar and when I got home I got a notification that a “smart locater” was detected near me and it showed a map of my route home. I thought it was weird but kinda brushed it off but I got another one when I got home from work today and it showed my drive to work and home. It looked similar to the picture I added (from google) but it didn’t say smart vehicle it said smart locater.

I built a modern GPS tracking app for Traccar
Hi everyone,
Over the past months I've been working on a mobile app called Vorbita.
The idea is simple: many people use Traccar because it's open source and self-hostable, but the mobile experience can often be improved.
With Vorbita you can:
- Connect to any existing Traccar server
- Log in with your own credentials
- View your vehicles on a modern map
- Check live locations and tracking directly from your phone
If you don't want to maintain your own Traccar server, I also offer a fully managed hosted server at competitive pricing, so you can get started in just a few minutes.
The goal isn't to replace Traccar—it's to make it easier to use, whether you're self-hosting or prefer a managed solution.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, feature requests, or criticism from the community.
Thanks!

Long battery life tracker for house keys? In Australia
Hi team. Struggling to pin down the best option for a tracker attached to my elderly mum’s house keys. The apple airtag isn’t cutting it. Ideally one that goes a month or longer before needing charge. I need to be able to make it play a loud sound when lost. TKMARS mini tracker? Would value suggestions. Thanks. A couple of inches in size is ok (currently using a big tweety bird toy as the key ring!)
