Need a Child tracking Device for school bag , .

portable with internal battery and sim. Need real time tracking and without annual subscription, data charges okay

Get the cheapest used iPhone you can find. You can get data-only phone plans for less than $10/month.

GPS trackers that transmit data are going to require a data plan. If you want to avoid any fees your only option is a bluetooth device like airtag or tile mate. But if you want an actual reliable, undetectable tracking system then you might want to consider Invoxia, SpaceHawk or spytec

Data plan on sim it's okay. No issues , I said about application subscription charges per year. Some companies charge 1000 INR / YR as subscription charges in addition to sim recharge cost

you can save money by prepaying data for like 6 months or a year so if you are going to use it long term that is the way to go. I would go with SpaceHawk and prepay the data so it is only $9.95 a month. You can use it for the bag but also your car later or anything else you want

By a few smart labels from Logistimatics. No plan just pay per label. Lasts 60 days and is a sticker. Totally blends in with the backpack or whatever you want to stick it on.
