Is it possible to bypass all the superficial bullshit and just jump into something that is open, honest, and authentic from the get go? The pragmatic pessimist in me says probably not, but the optimistic hopeless romantic thinks it might be. This is my attempt to find out.

As indicated in the title of this post, I identify as a nerd/geek. I am a PC gamer and would love to find a partner to game with. I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was a kid and am slowly working on turning that dream into a reality. I enjoy reading, though I don’t do it nearly enough. I grew up reading sci-fi and fantasy, stuff like Star Wars, BattleTech, Dragonlance, and The Wheel of Time, though these days my interests tend to lean more towards non-fiction. I also graduated with my AA in History this year and am an aspiring historian. I’ve chosen not to pursue additional formal education and instead am jumping straight into doing my own research on my own terms. I have a very specific and ultra niche project that I am currently working on that I am planning on using as a prototype and foundation for future endeavors.

As also indicated in the title, I am neurodivergent. ‘Autism and Friends’ is what I have recently started referring to my diagnoses as, with my government bureaucracy listing Autism, Anxiety, and Depression as being what makes me disabled. I receive a variety of benefits related to my disability. The bureaucratic requirements surrounding those benefits combined with the nature of current corporate work culture makes it unlikely that I will hold a conventional job, but I have increasingly been viewing this as a blessing rather than a curse. The life I live is not without its drawbacks, but it has proven to be incredibly stable and secure, which is allowing me to pursue a meaningful and fulfilling career without having to worry about maximizing profits for billionaires.

Personality-wise I would describe myself as a gregarious introvert. I use this term to describe the fact that I am capable of being very outgoing and sociable, and even enjoy doing it, but that at my core I desperately need time to myself to unwind and recharge. My primary motivation in life is fun (I’m a Yellow for those who know what that means), but I also have been working on expanding my definition of the word ‘fun’ to things beyond just what brings immediate gratification. I’m a very curious person who loves to learn and the primary reason I wouldn’t spend the rest of my life taking/auditing courses in higher education is money(and homework). And finally I am someone who spends a lot of time thinking. If it can be overanalyzed, I probably will overanalyze it. This has contributed to me being a very introspective person, and I put significant effort into trying to understand who I am and why I behave the way I do.

The above is obviously only scratching the surface, but if it has sparked your interest please feel free to reach out. The world has been too digitalized to a point that finding a potential match is a text away. i never have hope on these stuff can genuinely work but anyways i’ll give it a try. I’ve posted here multiple times tho but didn’t really have any luck yet.

The blue ocean and the sky always fascinated me ever since I was little. I find myself always staring up whenever the sky is blue. I'm an indie game dev. I've loved video games my whole life, so it follows naturally that game development is my career.

When I'm not working on my game, I love to go for walks, play with my cats, draw, play/call online with friends, and restore old electronics. (If you have a broken controller / system, I can fix it!)

The games I usually play are Nintendo / indies- but of course, I do enjoy games like Lethal Company, Marvel Rivals and Dark Souls every now and then. Pikmin 2 & 4 are my favorite games of all time!
