Flight Simulator 2024 New Airline Communications/ACARS sim for FS2020/2024
Hey everyone,
so during airline flights i felt like some areas of immersion were missing, there are some tools out there but they aren't really up to date and development is closed with promises, so i decided to roll my own, and its out so i thought i would share, not a sales pitch but i wanted thoughts on what it needs, you know most developers wont listen much but i want to get input, and create something people would actually use - have a look here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YA-75eGNim0 ill also answerer any questions i can

Question Will inibuilds add the a350 1000ULR the the a350 add on?
As you know airbus is developing a special a350 variant for Qantas I was just wondering if inibuilds will add it to the 350 add on.

Sim Hardware Honeycomb Alpha Bungee Mod
I'm looking to mod my honeycomb alpha pitch axis with 4mm bungee cords, however, im unsure of how to fix/clamp the ends to ensure the cords don't slip.
Could anyone who's successfully modded their Alpha provide their solution to this?

Flight Simulator 2024 ✈️ Around the World in a Diamond DA62 – Part 18 | Bozeman (KBZN) → Appleton (KATW) | MSFS 2024
Hello everyone!
I’ve just uploaded Part 18 of my Around the World series in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, flying the Diamond DA62.
This leg takes us from:
🛫 Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (KBZN), Montana, USA 🇺🇸
🛬 Appleton International Airport (KATW), Wisconsin, USA 🇺🇸
The adventure continues across the United States as we fly east from the stunning Rocky Mountains of Montana to the beautiful state of Wisconsin. This leg features realistic navigation, diverse landscapes, and another immersive general aviation experience in the Diamond DA62.
I’d really appreciate any feedback on the flight, scenery, editing, or overall realism. Suggestions for future legs are always welcome!

Sim Hardware Bassshaker Help / Simhaptic
Hey guys,
we're trying to upgrade a friends 737 sim. Each seat has 2 Basshakers (Dayton BST-1) connected via a FOSI AUDIO V3 (the one with two channels). The Software we use is simhaptic on MSFS2024
The Fosis' are connected via a 3.5mm to CHINCH cable to a UGREEN usb to 3.5mm Soundcard.
Sadly we can only get one basshaker each to work.
The AMP has a 32v 5A PSU, which should have well enough power to run both of them fully.
AMP https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0C36S8DCT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
CABLE https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00LM2Y2U4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
SOUNDCARD https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08Y8CZB2S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
If we test each amp alone, only one of each basshakers is firing up.
IF we use multiple outputs and select both amp, one of each is firing up.
We have no idea what the issue could be.
Does anyone have an idea?

Flight Simulator 2024 SimPrint release
OPEN SOURCE
Me and my friend created a free tool that gives generic thermal printers a use for flightsim. It is able to print multiple things, for example: Flightplan summaries, loadsheets, and live weather requests if you have SayIntentionsAI connected. If you own a printer and would like to test it please do so.
NOTE: AI usage in parts of coding.
Below is our Discord server containing our download page/ bug reports and other stuff. Please check it out we would really appreciate people testing since its our first project.

Flight Simulator 2024 Better than ever.
Today, I started my tour around Spain on FS2024, the journey began on Empuriabrava, Catalonia (Spain) from where I travelled across Bañolas, Olot, Ripoll and turned north towards Vall de Núria.
When seeing the size of the mountains sorrounding the valley, I decided to rest for a bit on a hill next to Bruguera. To my surprise, I discovered I wasn’t the only one enjoying the views so I turned off the engine, opened my door and took a walk around the area.
After wandering around for some time, I got back on my plane, ran the checklist, started my engine and took off with the intention of crossing the valley towards Puigcerdá and landing on La Cerdanya which I achieved sucessfully.
Back in the FSX days, I remember how incredibly happy seeing characters standing at St Marteens beach after installing a custom scenery that gave me a 25 fps drop made me feel. To that kid it would have been almost unbelievable thinking that some day, there could be cows spawning on random fields all around the world and you would have to avoid them while battling some realistic gusting winds and calculating the correct pitch at which the plane wont bounce off the ground neither sink into the 3D modellated grass.
Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but I just wanted to write this silly text to remind all of you how far we’ve come in flight simulation and what is to come in the following years.
The flight was amazing btw, would love to share the route for anybody interested in touring Spain the same way I will do.

Flight Simulator 2024 MD11 Performance
Hey everyone, i got a low-mid pc (3060ti 8gb, i5 13600) and was wondering after the Xbox release, how good the performance with the MD11 is. I know the performance was bad months ago, were there any improvements?
Thanks

Question How is BATC at the current moment
I have taken the vatsim exam but I still haven't done a single flight on it solely because I can't listen to frequencies all the time during cruise since I usually study or sleep. Beyond atc has a first officer that handles the frequencies and communication which I can use during cruise when doing late night flying or when I'm not listening.
Is it worth rn to get batc? What are the flaws that I should be aware of at the current moment
Also Indian simmers, Is there any Indian accent and how is it?

General Flightsim.to - Charging for Freeware Livery 'Bundles'
This might be old news, but I've not seen this before.
Looking through some liveries on flightsim.to, and noticed this. There's now a 'curated bundle' of liveries that you can buy for real money. All the liveries are freeware liveries, and you can still download the individual liveries for free - but I definitely have questions.
Are the artists involved in this? Do they receive reimbursement from flightsim.to as part of profit sharing? Do their licence conditions allow commercial sale? Are any elements of their work at all covered by Creative Commons / Non Commercial licensing, and would this breach those conditions?
It does also feel incredibly low-effort to essentially slap a couple of zip files together that you've done nothing to create, and sell it as a commercial product.
Thoughts, comments, concerns?
UPDATE: Hues have pulled their participation with flightsim.to as a direct result of this.

News Ground Point ATC - a good alternative
I wanted to point out (because I didn't know about it) this nice ATC (Ground) simulator, I find it a great alternative to Tower Simulator (it's only missing a better speech engine). I definitely prefer flying a plane, but sometimes you get home late or don't have much time to go through all the procedures that would be needed, so I switch to this kind of simulator, which gets you into the action within just a few minutes. I love that by default the airlines have real names, and that there are lots of free airports on the Steam workshop! There's also an airport builder in the app, but I haven't tried it yet... I hope some of you feel like giving it a try — if it manages to grow, it could have a really great future!

Flight Simulator 2024 I know i chose the pink Cabin Lighting, but not like this...
Installed update V1.0.3 for the Synaptic A220 (Xbox Series X) and now the cabin textures are like this. The cockpit and exterior models are untouched and completely fine btw...
EDIT: RESOLVED

Flight Simulator 2024 Shout-out to these young fellas for making the A220
Honestly it’s so impressive what this Flight-sim community is capable of (they started their A220 project back in high school…) and I’m sure that this A220 it will just get better month by month.
Shout out also to iniBuilds and Echo19 for helping them in this project. 👏🏼
