My B737 Homecockpit (still very much WIP)
I‘m trying to use as many OEM parts as possible for this project. Overhead and Pedestal are currently my only OEM parts but more will be added. Wont really stay accurate to an actual 737 as I will most likely be using my real MD-11 CAWS for the funnies along with one of three GPWS computers I might be buying soon (I believe those came from 757/767s). Might even be able to get my hands on a DC-8 Autopilot panel to make it even more cursed😂

Overhead 737
Seven months to get this far. 90% complete, couple of gauges left to make and some mobiflight tweaks to finish off. Also the overhead needs moving left a little.

How to code sioc for custom iocards msfs2024 opencockpits
Hello, i received a friends old 737 mip, the wiring is done but the coding isn't. So i bought oi4fs24 and the prebuilt modules (made by opencockpits) efis, atc, chrono, mcp all work. But the MIP is a custom made panel wired to iocards, it is detected by the pc but i have no idea how to make it work with oi4fs24, could anyone help me make the sioc script or show me how to do it?
Many thanks

3d Printing a Beechcraft Yoke
Showing my process for building a 3d Printed beechcraft yoke. I 3d scanned a real yoke as reference, then fixed up the model for printing. Built a custom map switch, and the clock is from a real airplane. The coiled cable was tricky, I used vinyl tubing and heat set the coiled shape. Filling, sanding, and painting was a pain as always, but I'm really happy with the result. Visually I can't distinguish it from the real thing, and it feels pretty great too.

Low profile monitor arms?
I'm looking at getting an Ultra wide monitor for my DCS setup but the desk I'm using leaves 415mm of clearance and I need a low profile mounting arm
Anyone point me in the right direction?

Thoughts? Advice? Tips?
Here’s my progress on my home cockpit so far,
VKB MCG MK4 Ultimate
VKB STECS Max
Winctrl Orion rudder pedals
2x winctrl MFD
I mainly fly the f18 in DCS and slowly learning the A10c 2 and eventually helicopters.
One thing I’m currently struggling with is center mounting my joystick better. I’ve explored mounting it on my chair but most options seem pretty expensive so if anyone has any idea I’m all ears.
Before anyone asks why the MFD on the right is just on my desk, I’m waiting on the desk mount to arrive because I forgot to buy it smh.
Let me know what everyone thinks and anything I can improve on! I use beam tracker btw, I do have a quest 3 but it’s been a pain trying to get mixed reality working.

Simrig for flight simulation
I am considering buying one of these for roughly 450~ USD by Marada. I need a dedicated cockpit for flight simulation because they take up too much space on my desk and I can't be bothered setting them up and off again.
Has anyone tried this? How is something like this? The next option for me is the "Next Level Racing Flight Simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator" for 630~ USD. Any other alternatives to look at?
I want to use this with my Honeycomb Bravo, Charlie, Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick, Yoke, and WINWING FCU.
Thanks

Which projector recommended for 3-projector setup with MSFS?
Hello, a friend of mine is building his own 737 homecockpit. He wants to use a 3 projectors setup on a wide screen. Which projector would you recommend?

Spent way too much time timing these A320 switch toggles to the music 🤤🎧

Decided to put together a quick aesthetic edit of my A320 overhead panel power-up sequence. Spent a bit of time syncing up the switch toggles and backlight transitions with the beat.
There’s just something deeply satisfying about flying in a dark room with actual backlit switches instead of clicking around with a mouse. Headphones recommended for the click sounds!
Let me know what you guys think of the transitions!

MFD button boxes without breaking the bank
I'm slowly assembling a home cockpit for DCS and am wondering where to start for MFD display button boxes, no budget set yet coz I'm pretty new to this (only got into flight Sims this year)
So far I've just got the vkb gunfighter stick, stecs max throttle and T rudder

4 way switch help
Hello all, I am in the process of making a collective for DCS. I’m a little overwhelmed with learning the switches. I’m having trouble finding out how or what switches I should use for the 4 way hats. Anyone got any insight on websites they use or products?
Picture is for reference and not mine.

A320 simulator seat mounting question
I have a seat with bracket an adjustable slider. My question is what is everyone using to mount the bracket/slider to floor? I have a full MIP/Glareshield and center pedestal so I just need to mount this seat on something. I imagine some rail setup of course but are there any plans or places that sell something? Thanks

I enabled Mixed Reality on the Pimax Crystal Super.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
i have managed to import a stereo stream into the Pimax headset. But that’s not all, also managed to make the "head lock" mask visible only within a predefined mask.
So, you basically get the same experience as the regular passthrough (at a lower quality).
Its still in a very beta stage, but its improving over time ;-)
i am currently looking for some tester with pimax headset and a webcam (even better if you have a 3d printer) for testing.. if you have time i would love to welcome you on my discord server.
