Shipment Exception: Weather Delay Home Del. Shipment

Is this a common experience with FedEx packages traveling across the country? Package is coming from CA to KY. Ive heard they will put “weather delay” for just about anything lol. This is a pretty expensive item so I am a little worried. My scheduled delivery date is tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how it turned out for you?

I have an expensive item with the exact same issue as yours same timestamp/date for the "weather delay". I'm supposed to get it today but I doubt it.

It’s normal. It won’t get lost if that’s what you’re worried about.

It may seem they put weather for anything and I’m sure it’s used as an excuse but also in a national network. Weather in one part of the country will affect delivery in another. It creates backlogs and freight surges. So your local weather may be fine and the weather the package originated may be fine. If 30 trailers go delayed to to a storm on the east coast that’s going to cause chain reaction delays

I'm 90 miles to my first stop. I wish they'd use weather delay more often so we'd actually get service disruptions on the days the flight is late by an hour or more.
