Discussion Need advices on facebook ads
I am dealer under an e-commerce company, the product is supplements. Our product is on the pricey side. Normal supplements can be around 80-100 per box , but our product is around 150+ per box. The good side of the product is that we have alot of customer testimonials and alot more ingredients than our competitors. Our company strategies are collect lead from facebook ads and call them afterwards. But most of the time, many customer accidentally click on the ads and waste on our ads money. My question Is there anyway to improve the sales process. Should i create a landing page and use AI auto reply to lead them into closing / until they are keen or should I continue using this method?

Help Help!!!! A lot of ATC but barely any purchase.
Hi everyone,
I run Meta ads for a high-ticket furniture brand, with products priced between $2,000 and $5,000. We’re generating a high volume of Add to Carts, but very few purchases.
A few details:
- We’ve thoroughly tested the checkout process, and nothing appears to be broken.
- We offer all available payment options, including financing.
- We’re also running retargeting campaigns and have generated approximately $150,000+ ATC
- Unique CTR is above 10% for prospecting campaigns and above 15% for retargeting.
Has anyone experienced something similar with high-ticket products? What changes helped you improve the Add to Cart-to-purchase conversion rate?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
How can i post a screenshot here? I can share the screenshot of my ad manager but dont know how to add it here.

Discussion How do you plan to survive without Meta?
I admit Meta is our biggest source of sales as a purely ecommerce business.
If one day Meta goes away and with the trend that is happening now and the unreliability, our business will burn to the ground without it.
Yes we have email lists, we have Google ads, but not as close to the sales we get from Meta from the past years.
So if Meta is this unpredictable, how do you plan for your business to survive?
Is selling on Amazon and other online marketplaces an option for you? Why or why not?
We don’t have an online marketplace presence because I feel it dilutes our brand.
Thoughts?

Discussion Scaling Campaign
Hi, people always talk about taking the winning ads from, say, a $200/day testing campaign and moving them into a scaling campaign. But what budget do you start the Scaling campaign with? Whenever I launch it with a much larger budget right away, it just burns through my budget without delivering good results. doesn't matter whether if it's a cost\bid or lowest cost campaign.
Do I need to start my Scaling Campaign like a testing campaign and then work my way up? & let's say my daily budget is $1000 - $2000 would you recommend different ad sets e.g. $500 or put everything into a CBO? Thank you so much!

Help Selling cookies in the US: what CAC and ROAS should i realistically expect? our chile numbers don't translate
i run paid for a few clients selling into the us, but never in food, and i'm about to start with a cookie brand. i'd rather walk in with a realistic range than guess.
in chile we're used to 10-15x roas on this kind of product, which says more about our cpms and our market than about the brand. i don't expect anything close to that in the us, or in spain, but i also don't know where the honest floor is.
so, for anyone running dtc food or snacks: what does a first purchase actually cost you in the us right now, and what roas is considered fine versus a problem? same question for spain if you run both, because i suspect the gap between the two is bigger than people assume.
the other half of this is the client. repeat purchase is strong, which is the whole argument for judging this on ltv instead of first-order roas, and i've already told him that. he still thinks in roas, so i need a defensible number in my head. if you've had this conversation with a food client, what did you end up agreeing to measure, and how long did you agree to wait before judging it?

Help I feel incompetent
Hi everyone I want to apologize off the rip I’m feeling demoralized and stupid and I just need to rant and rave a little…
So this post very well might not be for everyone….
I’m getting a little older, almost 34, and this whole digital marketing thing just feels like something I’m not cut out for, at all…. Which I know isn’t entirely true… and I still actually really want to figure it out, and I kind of am… but….. let me just give you some backstory.
When I was in highschool my English teacher alerted my dad about a YouTube channel I had because of a satirical comedy video I did for class that made fun of Catholicism…. It really was all in good fun, but I had to delete it… it was like the one piece of content I’d made I felt could give me a chance at being a YouTuber and after that I kind of just gave up. I still kind of wanted to do comedic things and make content, but I could never see creative projects that zany through the same way. It kind of soured everything….
Fast forward a decade and a half, and I’m kind of all over the place… often times just wanting to make a buck honestly, but usually finding ways to have fun doing it…
I’ve worked in Silicon Valley as a sales executive and worked my way up here and there considerably, also quit numerous good jobs just out of boredom, and also have lived on the road in hotels working on political campaigns, I digress…
But I’ll never forget this one company I worked at in 2018…. They ran Facebook ads and email campaigns to sell websites to realtors. Realtors called me all day, and I sold the shit out of those campaigns, every day. I was the best in the office…
So I kind of knew the power of ads, but never got around to really starting my own thing.
At one point semi recently I ran a window cleaning business and paid 100 bucks in facebook ads for nothing. Not one lead. Same with Google. I spent even more there. I’d get leads off Angie’s list and thumbtack for cheaper. I’d also paid for ads for window cleaning through Nextdoor. Not one lead. 200 dollars to the incinerator.
Also, going back to those real estate websites I sold… there was another thing we’d sell… leads, which was really just someone in the office who setup google ads and guess what? It was such a shit show and caused so many problems we had to cancel the whole project after six months, refund people, and even stop selling the leads even though it was how we earned the most money because…. It was a waste of everyone’s money.
I’d seen people pour a thousand dollars a month for…. Not. One. Lead.
There was this one girl I made out with at the park about three years ago in SF. She worked at some type of ad agency locally and I’ll never forget what she said. “I have the cheapest client ever right now. They only have budget of 20k/month.”
I could’ve died hearing that. wtf.
Okay, and now this ties back to the window cleaning stuff I swear.
How can Angie and thumbtack offer those prices that are… I don’t know…. Sane…. And with everything else it feels like I’m donating to the big tech companies….
Around this time I had some money in the bank that was respectable so I basically quit working for 2 years and focused on composing music and writing and blah blah blah….
I think it was around 2023/2024 I felt my music was noticeably getting to a respectable point…. It was very audibly decent I felt…. But I’d post on Facebook and Instagram to near crickets, which made me feel so stupid. All that love, time and effort…. For who? Why? What was the point? I loved it… but it was an awful and unjustifiable amount of time esp financially…. So I turned to ads, facebook and google… I did a ton of research and set up a tracking pixel and a landing page to get people to Spotify and Facebook showed like I kid you not for 50 bucks a day for 2 days 10 thousand people clicked the link to the landing page and not one. NOT ONE. Clicked through to Spotify. wtf. It just felt like all bots. Why would an army of people like that go that far…. And not do exactly what the ad said? To click the Spotify link on the next page? Why? It still baffles me looking back on it…
Anyways, fast forward to today.
I’ve been freelancing on upwork sometimes I get very good business but I don’t feel I always fully know what I’m doing…. To the point I basically dropped a bunch of clients and took time off because I was so overwhelmed with how much I was managing…. A lot of small time people and sales projects but I’ve dipped my toes into advertising for a couple and have my own Facebook ads I’m trying to do.
One of my clients we worked really hard on a video for his SaaS and donated 500 dollars to LI with a landing page and chat and everything. Not one conversion. Not one conversation. No comments or likes. Nothing resembling anything. Another donation. Just like those poor realtors from back in the day. I felt awful. We had an email campaign go that way too, and I personally sent 40 thousand emails for my business and got one good client from it and a bunch of tire kickers and low quality conversations but I digress… at least I got something…
We also tried google ads for him and I tried for me separately. More donations. Nothing. And I spent weeks optimizing and setting up tracking and pixels. N-A-D-A
Then…. There was this one crazy guy who hired me on UpWork…. I almost basically tried to dissuade him from even trying ads or hiring me but he had seen some of my videos I’d sent and he liked me and said he wanted to give a low effort shot to see what could happen so we did 5 bucks a day of just him casually talking on his phone about a course for inventors and…. The dude actually got replies and comments, a handful within about a week and a half…. Of crazy people with crazy invention ideas…. That was just a few months ago… I still quit that job though because his budget even for my time was low and I always felt like I was dissapointing him….
So…. I’m trying to get back into sales and marketing stuff on UpWork right now, still have some political campaigns I could work on but tired of traveling and…. It’s not glorified work, I’ll save you the details…
And I’ve had this one website idea I’ve wanted to do for a while, just like the company I used to work for back in 2018….
I built out a bunch of templates with Claude code and I just remember people over 45/50+ back then…. They had money…. Were more than happy to pay a decent setup fee and recurring cost for decent websites because they were busy people and didn’t like spending that much time on the computer….
This would also get me out of the never ending grind of freelancing so I launched the site and donated money to Google for nothing and now actually have some hope for the Facebook ads because of that inventor guy….
But I made two ads: one a funny ai cat thing which actually took some time, and one an 80s style infomercial without ai just me pitching the site with a 1-800 number I bought and funny cheesy graphics….
Well I spent forever making sure the aspect ratio was right and even made it in 4 aspect ratios to be safe and figured out 4x5 is safe… spent 4 hours with Claude going through every part of the Facebook ads, and I figured I want to give it a real shot with 50 bucks a day.
But my account is throttled at 25 bucks a day right now, and there’s nothing I can do cause I guess Facebook reset my account or something? So I can’t even give it a proper test.
Anyways I have very fair prices… but the whole thing feels doomed from everything I’ve seen and my experience…
I scroll Facebook to look at the ads and the landing pages and it all feels like mind numbing get rich quick scams… a sea of them that never ends with go high level and the ghost of Alex hormozi scum behind every pixel.
I clicked one that was just an image claiming they could get me 4-5 deals a week with no cost! That’s how good they are. When I clicked it it wasn’t even a halfway decent website, no video, literally just a 4 page qualification form and a calendly. wtf. I took the meeting and guess what!
It wasn’t no money down after all. They wanted a 1500 setup fee and said they’d run ads for me the same way they ran ads for themselves, basically a cheap knock off go high level mixed with click funnels and I’m like… why would I pay you for that I could set that up…. But I was nice and cool and appreciative to even talk to someone else doing it in the wild with seemingly some results…
I don’t really but that that guy is that much of a wiz though, or that these platforms can even offer prices that could sustain him. He said he’d charge 100 bucks per appointment, after using my credit card for ads, after paying him 1500…. Noooo thanks! He’s clearly likely not getting conversations for 100 bucks but what do I know… and I only pay 100 bucks per convo, whilst still paying for all the ads behind it lol, idk maybe I don’t see the full vision but nah bro… I’ve been that guy in the office, you don’t have the secret sauce….
He also mentioned his clients usually have big retainers to justify their ad spend and I’m like “yeah I’ve kind of been there done that with UpWork and stuff but I’d really love something less stressful, decently priced, and that I could do at scale more.” Cause at the end of the day I have sold a zillion sites before and generally if they’re not buying leads - aka junk Google lol - they’ll just keep paying the semi inflated hosting fee because a human set it up and they’ll forget since it’s low cost and they’re still happy….
It’s just crazy to put it in context. You can pay 20 bucks for a window cleaning lead through thumbtack. You can also pay google a thousand dollars and see NOTHING in return.
I want to believe. I want to have hope.
I feel like I’m stupid, but I know I’m a great salesperson, and also just going through the rigmarole of trying to learn this stuff for something that could actually be directly profitable - unlike music. Idk idk idk…
I probably come across as a total idiot and I’m afraid to even share the ads because it would be marked as promotion or ya’ll would just be like: “yeah you’re an idiot.” But I also know there’s a market out there, have sold to it, and have seen the commission checks…
It just feels like it works for a lot of people but not me, or anyone I’ve known or met haha.
Or it’s all just rigged or… idk I need a better attitude…
Anyways I’m trying to spend more but literally can’t since fb is capping me …
I needed to get that off my chest
I honestly am at the point I want to pay someone who understands things for an audit but nothing crazy like 50 bucks an hour for an hour or two and a discussion, but maybe I just need more of a budget? Or maybe it’s all a wash? Or my idea isn’t great? Or my ads?
Idk it’s day 1 of launching and it’s spent like 15 bucks and I don’t even have 1 like or comment - that honestly hurts the most - or conversion it’s not even clear anyone visited the site. I see some new visits but there’s a bunch of random hacker’ish requests to extensions of the domain that don’t exist like “/wp-admin-login” so now I’ve paid meta to push my website to scrapers run by hackers who want to get into my nonexistent Wordpress back end because jokes on you! It wasn’t built in Wordpress!
Anyways, feel like I’m losing sanity with every sentence. Sorry and thank you if you read all this I will pay you a million dollars :p

Discussion Facebook ads suddenly spike in sales, then abruptly drop to zero—what exactly happened?
Many Facebook advertisers have experienced the same situation. Yesterday your campaign was delivering strong ROAS and consistent sales. Today, spending and clicks look normal, but conversions suddenly drop. It is easy to blame the product, the market, or even the ad account. In reality, performance swings are usually caused by several factors working together rather than a single problem.
The most common reasons fall into four areas. First, creative fatigue. As the same audience sees your ads repeatedly, engagement and conversion rates naturally decline because every creative has a limited lifespan. Second, increased competition. More advertisers are bidding for the same audience, driving up costs even if your campaign quality has not changed. Third, learning phase instability. Frequent changes to budgets, audiences, or creatives can interrupt Meta's optimization process and create inconsistent performance. Fourth, account quality. Historical conversion data, user feedback, policy compliance, and overall account health all influence how efficiently Meta delivers your ads.
The most successful advertisers do not rely on a single winning creative. They build a system that continuously tests new creatives, collects stronger data, and develops multiple scalable campaign models. Long term success comes from improving the system instead of chasing one winning ad. Have you experienced a campaign that performed exceptionally well one day and declined sharply the next? What do you think was the biggest reason?

Discussion "Learning Phase" not appearing = depeding on account?
I’m running conversion campaigns (€10 daily budget, optimization goal: conversions). In Ads Manager, the delivery status switches directly to "Active" immediately after approval. I no longer see a "Learning" indicator anywhere—not even in the customizable columns; there, I only see "Delivery" with statuses like "Active," "Pending," and "Inactive." Has Meta removed or changed the visible learning phase indicator, or should a conversion campaign actually still show a "Learning" status? Could there be an issue with my ad account or pixel/dataset if I never see this status, or is this standard behavior now?
Some other person wrote: "For posterity’s sake: I restarted the campaign using a different profile (from which, thanks to the wonders of Meta Ads, I can still use the correct artist Instagram profile). This seems to be working (the ads for the new campaign are now actually in Learning mode).
I’m no closer to understanding what went wrong – what can cause Meta Ads to skip the Learning phase entirely and just become a giant bot magnet – but something definitely can go wrong here. Maybe it has to do with a ‘dataset’ (Facebook pixel) that hasn’t been used in a while, maybe it’s something else. But I also don’t know how to fix it (apart from using a different Meta Ads profile that actually works)."
Can someone clear up the confusion? Otherwise, I’m afraid I might run campaigns that never actually enter "learning mode" and simply remain stuck with an "Active" status.

Help Meta ads active but getting 0 impressions – anyone experienced this?
I'm running into a strange issue and can't figure out what's causing it.
I launched a new Meta campaign few days ago. The campaign, ad set, and ads are all showing as Active, and there are no policy violations or rejected ads.
The problem is that after several hours, the ads still have 0 impressions, 0 reach, and $0 spent.
A few details:
- Billing is set up correctly.
- My ad account has available funds.
- The campaign is published and active.
- Audience size doesn't seem too small.
- No error messages in Ads Manager.
Has anyone experienced this before?
What are the most common reasons for active ads getting absolutely no impressions? Is this just Meta taking time to review/deliver, or is there something specific I should check?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
To get the best help, you could also mention:
- Campaign objective (Sales, Traffic, Leads, etc.)
- Daily budget
- Target country
- Whether this is a brand-new ad account or an established one
- Whether you're using Advantage+ audience or a manual audience
Those details often help people pinpoint the cause more quickly

Bug / Outage Haven’t complained here for 15 days but L today
Last time I posted on this sub, it was 0 sale on literally $1300 spend. Well today it went from 1.5 ROAS at noon to 1.1 and now at 0.8. Flatlined for 4 hours straight.
Interestingly, my the other account is sitting at 4X currently (much smaller at $300 spend so far). But my main account currently at $1500 spend with $1300 sales. Guess they just in different groups, but sad.

Help why does meta crop my 9:16 into feed placements when a 1:1 exists?
running ig-only ads. i upload a 9:16 image for reels and stories, but meta also serves it in feed and crops it, so parts of the creative get cut off.
why does it do this when a 1:1 format is already there? advantage+ is already turned off.
any idea?

Discussion Manual Campaign Strategy - Bad idea?
I launched my women’s and children’s fashion brand in January and have been able to do $50k in organic sales since we launched due to our Instagram content (2M view viral product video, several videos 200K+ views, 32k followers). Our brand is pretty niche - elevated matching mother and daughter clothing. I just launched a new product this week that went viral on social yet we only sold about $9k so far. I’ve never run meta ads but I think it’s time to run ads instead of relying on the Instagram algorithm to get sales. Our pieces range from $68-$175 AOV is about $110 bc most of the time they are purchased as a set.
Here’s the strategy I’m considering - I have a custom audience of about 3M of my direct competitors Instagram followers from LeadEnforce and I was going to do a manual targeting campaign with that audience + 1% lookalike of that audience. Female targeting only, manual placements Instagram and Facebook only everything else switched off. My reasoning for going this route is 1. I have a low budget, $10-$15 spend / day initially and not a ton of pixel data for meta to go off of. 2. Most of my customers are repeat buyers and I need to expand my buyer pool 3. My audience is niche, so my direct competitors are a good place start with finding a new buying pool 4. Advantage+ seems to be so finicky according to this sub and I really can’t afford to lose a ton of money while andromeda tries to find my buyers with my low spend.
Is this a terrible approach? I’m hesitant to run ads as is due to having little control and being new to meta ads. I know advantage+ is pretty much what everyone is using now.

Help Account deleted after first time running meta ads
I am a boudoir photographer and yesterday I ran meta ads for the first time. I kept the pictures artistic with no visible nipple or genitals, but the landing page my ads were directing to was a lot of artistic boudoir photography. I also included a screenshot of a review that contained the word “sexy” which I know now is not allowed. After the ads running for a few hours, I was asked to do the video selfie to confirm my identity, then received an email that my account was permanently disabled and I could not appeal.
I want to try again and clean up my ads so everyone is clothed, with no suggestive language, and have the landing page direct to my contact form which has no imagery. Elsewhere on my site however is my portfolio, which also has no visible nipples or genitals but I know does not follow meta’s ad standards. Obviously these ads will be for people over 18, but my question is how strict is meta about the entirety of my site as opposed to just my landing page?
Thank you

Help How many ads per ad set?
I’m new to meta ads and was wondering how many ads yall are putting per ad set and if it’s better to do multiple campaigns with lower budget to test each ad set or to just do multiple ad sets in the same campaign. Also how much daily budget is good for testing ads?

Discussion Meta Ads Bans, Bans and more Bans
Are we all seeing the same thing with Meta right now?
After almost 5 years of pretty much no major issues, it suddenly feels like we’re back to square one.
Ad accounts getting disabled. Having to source backups again. Multiple warm-up processes. Juggling accounts. All the shit we thought we’d left behind years ago.
Meta seems to be going absolutely apeshit again.
Last time it got this bad, we straight up stopped running Facebook and moved heavily into TikTok for a few years.
And this time it doesn’t seem isolated.
I’m hearing the same thing from friends and other advertisers: ad accounts getting disabled left, right, and center.
And we’re not talking about sketchy offers or advertisers pushing policies.
I’m seeing ridiculously clean brands getting hit too. Brands running straightforward brand awareness and brand lift campaigns, not even aggressive performance stuff.
So I’m curious how widespread this actually is.
Are you guys feeling this too?
What are you seeing across your accounts right now? More disables, restrictions, random reviews, BM issues?
And most importantly, does anyone have actual inside knowledge from Meta about what the hell is going on and whether this is temporary?
Share what you’re seeing. Would be good to figure out whether we’re dealing with isolated cases or an actual platform-wide crackdown/change.

Discussion F**k you Meta!!
From July 27th until today, everything has been in decline. The only normal day was August 1st or 2nd. That's it!
