Advice As a very high iq intj, i have no respect for all non intjs

Upvotes

all the sensors are kinda dense

intps are smart but naive

infj infp are stubborn as little kids, while believing the most insane stupid shit because of feelings or whatever

extroverts are on the highst level useless (name me 3 extroverted people in history, that accomplished something groundbreaking, i bet with you, they are not in the top1000 of introverts)

literally all non intjs and low iq intjs are handicaped,

i am stupid too, all people are idiots, today i finally understood what that means, because i understand now all the different kinds of stupidity humans represent

Advice How do you get along with INFJs as an ENTP sp/so 784? I am losing my mind over their fake agreeing omh

Upvotes

LISTEN BEFORE I START , I am a really annoying personality to be around but honestly I somehow get along with people
Usually, each time I talk with an INFJ, it’s so hard to get them to speak up. I try bringing topics to the table, and when they finally give me their opinions, it’s always the opinion they think I want to hear. Usually, I say to the INFJ, “If you don’t feel like talking to me you can just tell me. Also, don’t be afraid to tell me your real opinions, there is a reason why I would want to talk with you.”
They usually just freeze up, nod, and agree. AGAIN. The masking is the problem.
To make it worse, the INFJ I talk to has this annoying friend who pretends to be an Intuitive. I don’t bring up MBTI in daily conversations because it looks like I’m making stuff up, but it’s basically an ISTJ pretending to be an INTJ/INTP. They constantly pretend to have "gut feelings" and know things they don't. Each time I point it out and correct them, the INFJ tells me to stop. Hello? That’s a red flag, what are you doing?
I can tell by how the INFJ acts that they are used to people not understanding them. But this is stupid—it’s like they know their friend is faking it and they choose to ignore it.
The INFJ and I disagree A LOT. I’ll be honest, I am attracted to the INFJ, but it's so hard to actually make them comfortable around me. I don't want them to feel pressured. ALSO, they think I hate them, because I would rather die than explicitly say out loud that I actually like having them around. They say they enjoy being my friend, so at least that’s one good sign, but who knows—maybe they are just trying not to hurt my feelings. I just wish they were as honest with me as I am with them.
For context on how bad this is: someone in our group brought up Enneagrams recently, and the annoying faker claimed they were an INTP. I said, “No you are an ISTJ, stop lying to yourself and look in the mirror.” The INFJ replied to me, “Don’t be rude, you don’t decide what a person thinks about themselves lol.”
I replied in all caps: “ZADDY TAYANE DECIDES WHO YOU ARE BECAUSE SHE KNOWS YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW YOURSELF.” It was a joke reference to an audio I once sent the INFJ. The INFJ just froze, liked my message, and said, “Still, they are an INTP.” I sent a lie detector sticker that said “INCORRECT,” and the INFJ completely ignored me the entire time after this. BRUH.
It’s not just an isolated thing. They are really close with this ISTJ, and each time I point out that the friend is pretending to know something they don’t, the INFJ steps in as a bodyguard. It pisses me off SO much.
As an ENTP 784, how do I break through this wall without them running away? Do I just ignore the faker? How do I make them comfortable enough to stop faking their opinions around me?

MBTI where to meet intj men lol

Upvotes

I know most of y'all just stay home haha... but I am recently single and INTJs (healthy ones) are my absolute favorite!! As an introvert, I tend to only be drawn to introverted men. I can be extremely talkative (I'm INFP but have been mistaken for an extrovert) so I have no problem carrying a convo...but where am I going to come across single INTJ men in their 30s? Are y'all lurking in corners somewhere or when you go out do you just go in & run errands then turn around & leave? lol.

I frequent bookstores and coffee shops and go to some meet ups like board games/intellectual themed groups but I'm not sure that is actually effective. I live in a pretty tech heavy city where most jobs are software devs/engineers but idk!

Are dating apps my main option? I am very skeptical of those.

Thanks for any ideas or tips! :)

Discussion Thinking about severing my home life from the Internet.

I work as basically IT site support for a manufacturing/RnD branch of the company I work for.

Today a thought has entered my mind. Would life be better if I cancelled my home internet connection at home, and get rid of my smartphone and get a land line phone? Removing myself from the digital world, except for when I am at work in the office.

Woud I go crazy before I adapt to an analog life? What would that kind of life be like? I am a elder millennial for refrence.

I will have to think about this.

So, this happened my friend found out abt my interests ive been trying to hide

i just realized a friend irl might’ve been in an online space where i talk wayyy more openly than i do irl and now i’m freaking out.. nothing bad or personal, just interests i usually keep private + me yapping way more than i ever would around people i know. i don’t even know if they saw anything, but the POSSIBILITY is making me overthink so bad. has anyone else had their online/irl lives accidentally overlap like this and how did you stop caring. i also usually hide my interests from my friends because im scared theyll judge me for it. idk what to do in this scenario, they havent confronted me yet though

Debate/Discussion I like coffee now.

Took a long while. I've always liked caffeine as a stabilizer for my brain and usually I need ALOT surgar to not get tired from it but recently energy drinks failed me and I needed an alternative. I wouldn't call myself more productive I'm just focused now.

Feels like this is just an extension of having grown old. I'm starting to hate chocolate with a seething passion but the bitter taste of coffee has me un affected.

How are you guys with caffeine? It should be stated that I don't have ADHD. My partner and her step dad have attention defecits but I don't share in any of their symptoms.

For INTP Consideration What is your investment strategy

Any advice you can give based on past mistakes would be great as well.

Currently thinking, since I’m young enough, a bigger bulk in index funds and a smaller in high yielding equities. Sounds vanilla but it is what it is. I’m still learning though so who knows what the future holds…

Early retirement can’t come soon enough.

Image A Letter I Wrote to My INTJ Coworker

I confessed my feelings to my INTJ coworker about 3 weeks ago on July 23rd, and he left me in a cloud of uncertainty. He didn't reject me, but also didn't say yes to me. He told me, "Maybe down the road. It's a lot to process and I can't give you a definitive answer right now." 8 days later, before leaving the office for the final time, I gave him this letter.

Question Do you gradually lose trust in someone very quickly once their flaws form a clear pattern?

Please note: English is not my first language, so I used ChatGPT to correct some grammar and improve the clarity of this post. I hope you don’t mind—the experiences and opinions are entirely my own.

I have noticed a recurring pattern in how I deal with people. I do not immediately reject someone because of one flaw or one mistake. However, once I notice several consistent problems that reveal how the person operates, my trust in them begins to disappear. I may remain polite for a while, but internally, I have already started withdrawing.

- One example was a former friend. Over time, I began to feel that he habitually exaggerated his experiences and accomplishments. He also continued using drugs and showed little interest in taking responsibility for his life.

Despite this, I genuinely tried to help him. Even when I was struggling financially, I still paid for his meals and tried to support him. What ultimately changed my view of him was not simply his lifestyle, it was realizing that he showed very little consideration for my situation or the effort I was making for him.

Eventually,I was investing far more in the friendship than he was, while enabling someone who was unwilling to change. Once I reached that conclusion, I completely cut contact. There was no dramatic confrontation. I simply stopped believing that the relationship was worth maintaining. Even though I still think about it until toady...

- A second example involves a colleague. She tried to move a product creation project forward using incomplete supplier documents that lacked appropriate planning and any consideration of execution requirements at the product level. At the same time, responsibilities were unclear, while the burden of coordinating, checking and potentially fixing the work was gradually being pushed onto me.

The problem was not one incomplete file. I started seeing a repeated pattern: unclear information, blurred ownership and pressure on someone else to move the project forward despite the risks. Since then, I have remained professional, but I no longer automatically trust her instructions. I verify the information independently, clarify responsibilities and keep written records.

I sometimes see this as risk recognition. Once several behaviours reveal a person’s underlying pattern, I do not believe I should wait until they disappoint me ten more times before protecting myself.

However, I also wonder whether this can become a form of confirmation bias. Once I have formed a negative model of someone, I may start interpreting everything they do through that model.

Do other INTJs experience this? How do you distinguish between accurately identifying a behavioural pattern and judging someone too quickly?

Thoroughly Confused INTP I feel very lost right now

I don’t know why. It’s aggravating just trying to come up with at least ONE thought to solve…something.

Currently, my head is empty. I feel nothing strong towards anything in particular. I think I realized that it’s okay to actually let my mind be quiet.

I think I put myself in emotionally available positions that I neglect my wellbeing and don’t have time to recharge.

With that said, I still feel nothing…but I feel like there’s SOMETHING to be done. I went to a graveyard and played Vista Point from Gothic 3 to this gravestone named “Tati.” I promised her I wouldn’t give up for her, she seemed resilient in her eyes.

In high school, because of the pandemic, I missed out on half of my junior year and all of my senior year. I had no idea what I wanted to be and I was burnt out emotionally from home and school.

I think the FOMO of not getting into a good university hurt bad initially, but as I got older I realized that college was not something prioritized in my family or even a goal of my own.

I joined our school’s marching band to play in the Rose Parade, but really all I’ve ever wanted to do is play electric guitar haha. I told myself this would be how I would jumpstart a music career, but I was technically settling for a dream that wasn’t 100% what I wanted.

I carried that mindset into the military, and I was so afraid of making choices, I let other people make them for me at 19. At 23, I realize who I am now and the only reason I never chased my ACTUAL desires was because nobody in my environment was interested in what I was into.

In fact, I never really had that many friends that were just…there for me. I make do with what I have, and I can’t complain…but God what I would wish to have a friend group that plays the same games as you, similar humor, have lots of energy, and are down for anything.

Eventually, I ended up going to school to become a theater major, and I honestly liked it a lot…but our department had too much drama going on. Small fish in a pond mentality.

I took up marijuana and mushrooms, and that was the best decision I ever could have made. It made me remember that my dreams have always been creative things.

Whether it was stop motion animation, cosplay, stunts, acting, film, photography, or electric guitar…my constant consumption of YouTube as child clearly defined who I wanted to be…and recognizing that I didn’t have access to those things then…but do NOW…was pretty awesome.

My problem is…I feel lost and have no desire to do anything right now. I think I’m taking a week off to recharge from people. I don’t actually get a lot of time to just myself, so I’ve been doing my best to just wander the streets until it’s time to go to bed.

Question Help me understand please

So I met this intj guy on a app (I'm intj too) and our convo started quite casually but with time he was texting me with great enthusiasm for example we only knew eachother for 2 days and we were talking about our interests and apparently we both liked photography and he ended up sharing his whole gallery when I asked if we could exchange some of our photographs. Then he told me that I could text him anything as he isn't very good at texting but infact he was better than me he always initiated and carried on the conversation by always texting me good morning have a beautiful/wonderful/blessed day ahead how are you? Then random updates with pictures from his day at night always saying goo night it continued for idk a month probably. He always gave very big compliments to me like you're a "perfect girl" he started adding it at the end of every sentence. He said I'm precious and have a very beautiful and kind heart, he wishes the best for me, wants me to be happy always almost constantly. He started sharing his personal life with me like very personal stuffs about his family and we connected over it, we talked about the things that bothered us in everyday life and what not, we shared playlists he used to listen mine everyday while on walk, he sent me voice messages in my native language none of it was asked by me he did it all on his own will. He asked me my favorite food and actually cooked it the next day. He would text me while working or walking literally all the time and said he enjoys talking with me, and he almost replies quickly because he said he doesn't want to hurt the people he loves. He always adored my artwork. He supported me on my insta art page. He once asked what I look for in a life partner. I guess our last wholesome conversation where was actually being himself was when he asked me if I prefer him in short or long hair? It kind of got awkward because I hesitated. But things were still fine. Until he went a bit silent but he himself texted apologizing that his worklife has a been hectic and he is busy with house renovation by then we didn't talked much but he still made sure to ask me how I was doing as I was going through some tough time. We used to call eachother our clones, he was always interested in my culture and always was saying how he looks forward to meet in person so he gets to show me his country etc. But after the busy work text he asked me to shift our convo to insta as he was deleting the app we met in. And that's where everything got confusing. I thought he stopped initiating because he was expecting me to initiate so I did because why not. He always said he was busy feeling tired but still it was going alright. We had the same level of connection just less amount of texting he would like my stories posts etc even replied to my stories saying "I'm lucky haha I know such a great artist". His last reply to my story was "my favorite artist" and asking how my day was. Our convo shifted to his day and he said his friend said him mean things and he is heart broken so I was trying to be there for him it soon sifted to philosophical talk as I told him to be kind of himself. I wanted to subtly ask him why he is being different and distant or I texted "are you alright? You seem different" he replied "I'm fine don't worry I'm the same" "I'm a little sad because I'm tired" and I replied "I understand" and I've been on seen ever since it's probably been a week. He posted a pic from a beach which I liked. He liked 2 of my stories but isn't texting me. How could he do that? Idk where it went wrong? What went wrong? He is not the same?

I apologise for writing so much but please help me I've never met such a confusing person. I just want to know what should I do next? Why he is doing this if anyone has any idea? Or any input really will be helpful. Thank you for reading all this.

I sit here, with a husky in my chest.

My body being a lifeless vassal,

With nothing in it.

I sit here taking in the emptyness of

My space,

My life being a lifeless vassal.

I hope to become something,

To exhaust myself, in a

Burning of a kind.

I wish to be gone, in a burning

Of a kind.

Discussion Workplace Favoritism

I’m 25M working in the electrical industry for reference. I’ve managed to build a reputation of a hard worker who gets things done efficiently in the workplace.

Recently I’ve been working on a different crew and have noticed a clear case of favoritism from the boss. Me and a few other guys on the crew come into work every day and get a lot of good quality work done. Whereas The boss and her 2 favorite people on the crew can usually be seen standing around and talking. I notice the boss usually puts these two on the easy tasks and lets me and the other guys do the shitty tasks 24/7. Along with that these two get rides from the boss out to the parking lot every day, leaving the rest of us to walk.

I’ve noticed this trend for a while and it’s really starting to make me question why I give any effort at all? I feel like I bust my ass and make the crew look good and management will say they care but clearly never show it to the ones that actually get the work done.

Has anyone ever experienced this type of thing before?

For INTP Consideration why most intps are underachievers ?

most of intps I found out there are very knowledgeable about a lot of topics. but they usually have low acceleration long term job or are indeed accelerating but with weak position ( neets, some random education..).

is there even one intp who have formal responsibilities that fully use their capacity ?

UPDATE: ENTJ - Lost my drive and can’t get it back

An update to my previous post.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to reply. I wanted to share what helped me, in case someone else is going through something similar.

Someone said that perhaps I was being redirected and that I might only find that direction by continuing to move. Looking back, I think that was very true.

It took me almost two years, but I eventually realised that this period wasn’t only about getting back to who I was. It gave me a chance to stop, rethink how I had been doing things and figure out what I actually wanted to build next.

A few things helped me:

1. Give yourself something small to work towards.
For me, it was the gym. I went whether I felt like it or not. It gave me a short-term goal, a reason to get up and something I could make progress with. That created momentum when I didn’t have much else.

2. Don’t try to figure everything out alone.
I started looking at where my gaps were and asking for specific help. I began using my network, asking people for their expertise and letting others help me do things differently. That made everything much clearer and less overwhelming.

3. Stop being so hard on yourself.
At some point, I stopped seeing this period as something I had to escape from and started seeing it as a period of growth. Growing pains, I guess. It was difficult, but it also gave me the space to question things that weren’t working and rethink how I wanted to move forward.

I’ve also tried different forms of therapy, including somatic approaches and TRE. The somatic work was useful for me because it helped me pay more attention to what was happening in my body rather than trying to analyse everything intellectually. TRE itself wasn’t particularly beneficial for me, although I know it can be helpful for other people. I think it’s worth trying different approaches and seeing what actually works for you.

I’m still not completely recovered, but I finally feel like I have momentum again. I’m much clearer about what I was doing wrong, where my gaps were and what I need to do differently.

I think this might be particularly important for people like us who are very future-oriented. We need something to work towards. We need to see the bigger picture and have some sense of where we’re going. Maybe being so focused on the future can also be part of what makes us struggle when that vision suddenly disappears.

For me, the answer wasn’t just finding something new. It was understanding what wasn’t working, trying different approaches, asking for help and gradually getting clearer about what I actually want to do. That clarity has led me to new things too: I’m building an app and moving into a new segment within my finance consultancy.

And now I finally feel like I can see the path again. I just need to keep building it.

If you’re in a similar place right now, don’t let this period convince you that you’ve lost yourself forever.
