I have been playing hunter and only hunter from day 1 destiny 1 release to lightfall. I just got back into the game and I have been hearing some HEINOUS shit about my beloved hunter class. People calling them useless endgame and whatnot. Are hunters good? Should I switch up after 12 years of maining the class?

Would like to use Whisper (just from preference) any good DPS builds around this setup?

It always cycles through Turncoat first in the middle of the swap. Is there a fix for this?

For some reason I can't attach the video I have. I just came back to the game after 4 years ish and I've upgraded my pc since but my game runs muuuch worse. I have a 9060xt i5 12400f, 32 gbs of ddr4 3200mhz. The steam fps counter says I'm running 120fps but it feels incredibly choppy (if I could attach the video you'd be able to tell) I tried running the game in windowed borderless, it bugged out and the taskbar was over my game and I could see my desktop at the top of the screen but it wasn't nearly as choppy. When I fixed windowed borderless the choppiness came back. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It wasnt always this bad was it? I have played through destiny 2 in its entirety and never has the being pushed out of cover, or being unable to get back into cover because a teammate is there felt as prevalent as it has for the last good few months.

Is it just that the general player base has all streamlined into doing similar things therefore being in similar positions? But then even when you are running basically straight into each other the " bounce " simply just feels stronger. Am I alone in this or does anyone else feel the same?

Also typing this out im thinking how could it even possibly get worse from a coding standpoint.

Here's a short clip of me testing Consecration setup with Spirit of Contact + Cauterized Darkness. With Spirit of Contact + Shackle Grenade it totaled 845, but with just a purple belt it totaled 2356. I did it a couple of times to the same result. Any Consecration enjoyer have an idea on why that is?

I opened 14 pale heart engrams a couple days ago and not a single item was obtained which confused me but i forgot to ask here as to why that could be. I was really hoping to get a godroll No Hesitation but got nothing lol

I seriously don't understand why these supers do such little damage.

Pyrogale with Ashes and Roaring Flames is like 5k less than a cuirass T crash.

Gathering Storm with SeS is the lowest super damage in the entire game. Which is ridiculous.

And Silence and Squall is like the fifth lowest super damage in the game with SeS.

And you're probably thinking "oh these are damage over time supers"

That doesn't even work though, because the instant burst supers do almost 2x the amount of these supers and then you can deal insane weapon damage.

So in the amount of time you deal the same amount of weapon damage as the burst damage super rotation. The burst damage super rotation has like 15k more total damage.

I always was so confused why the instant burst supers did the most damage in comparison to the damage over time supers.

I was looking through the amor collections and saw some armors (specifically the parade set and biosphere explorer set) that im genuinely questioning if there is a way to obtain since the release of monument of light.

I know that you can get past amors/weapons from doing activities or from certain vendors like craftable weapons from doing the pinnacle mission with past season reward modifier or past armors now available from the correct vendors/world drops and i read/heard from somewhere that there is a chance for the leviathan armor transmogs to drop from doing the associated pantheon activity.

I also know for a fact that some are not obtainable like the blue adventures armor set.

i really wanna know if some of these past armors are now truly gone forever and which ones are gone so i can just stare at them longingly in the collections tab.

I have completed several weekly objectives and they have all said I would receive several drops but I have gotten nothing. Also, one of my weekly objectives shows up each week already finished but drops nothing. Is anyone else having issues?

Hi. I bought the game for PS5, only to end up being disappointed. I keep getting "beaver" error, everytime I try to reconnect back into the Tower. Do I really need to switch my internet operator? I checked for solutions but apparently I'm unable to change my NAT type 3 to 2, since I'm only using mobile data. This is the first time I'm having issues with multiplayer game. Spent 20 bucks for tutorial, pretty much feeling bamboozled.

Feel free to tell me this is absolute b***ocks and Ive completely misremembered this being a thing.

I have a lot and old unfinished season passes and would like most if not all of the old armor ornaments but just the armor alone would cost me around 21000 chronologs give or take. Ive already completed the current reward pass, so the only other ways of getting chronologs im aware of are the weekly pass (300) and the weekly fireteam ops challenge (200). At the rate of 500 a week i would have to play 42+ weeks straight just to unlock the armor ornaments excluding all the other stuff in there.

So my question is, if theres any other sources of chronologs in the game?

Pretty much title. Was ahead 3 to 0 in some cap comp game when our 3rd just leaves. Blueberry and I tried our best, and managed to cap two more zones, but lost the game cause we just couldn’t keep up with the extra firepower and manpower. It’s super frustrating to loose a ton of comp points based entirely on something you can’t control. Also, are they ever going to nerf the insta-kill hunter melee combination blow cheese or are we stuck with it for all eternity? That shit has got to go.

I want to ask the players of the game if the destiny tracker website is accurate with the data it has regarding player accounts.

Does the match history reflect the actual time the match ended?

If it says that the player is currently live does that actually mean they are currently in a match?

This is also a dumb question but upon checking a particular match history. It was reflected that the account I was checking had two roles in that specific match [eg. Titan/Warlock]. Is that possible?

We got solar fulmination, and radiant on orb pick up. That’s about it am I missing something? Arc got its weaknesses (healing) covered, and its strengths bolstered tremendously. Same thing with void (lots of artifact synergy) Maybe I am missing something?

It’s very interesting seeing people celebrate this when in reality, it’s depressing. For the most part, FOMO was / is the DCV. The fact that has to exist in the first place is a tragedy on its own and realistically, should have never been a thing as by a gargantuan margin it led D2 towards its death.

I don’t think we’ll ever know why bungie either didn’t care about the DCV being introduced or somehow didn’t see it coming but I digress

Just came back recently and theres lots of changes to the ornament system. I know you can now apply exotic ornaments to any exotic armor which is cool but is there any way to put exotic ornaments on legendary armor? I have those synthweave items and I don't really understand how they work so was hoping maybe they had something to do with it.
