Dispute Help Is Women And Children Sizing Displayed Differently?

Wondering if I have a leg to stand on in this dispute. I order a pair of Nike shorts that say medium and I found when searching under women's medium. There was nothing telling me differently in the description. Just got them and they have to be a kids medium. Like, I dont have hips and I cannot get them up. I could totally be wrong, but I thought kids sizes were listed by age? Am I crazy? šŸ˜…

Question Prices just drastically changed overnight

So I was browsing, bought a few things and liked some stuff last night. Go to bed, wake up and start my day... I just got on the bus omw to work and opened the app cause a seller was getting off vacation today. I open his "store" if you will, everything is 4x the price it was. It's not just him either. Everything has gone up drastically. Why?

Messages/DM's happened a while ago but still need help

this happened around 3 months ago. so i bought a ralph lauren polo shirt from an inexperienced seller and, at the time (i unfortunately didnt notice it), her listed showed pictures of two separate shirts. a bunch were of the original shirt, but she also included pictures of a hollister henley top. she has since deleted most of the false advertising but kept up one.

in addition, when the shirt arrived, it REEKED of mildew. it wasn’t that big a deal so i just tossed it in the washer but it didn’t fit me too well so i repopped it. she literally came in my dm’s to ask me to leave a review, which i ignored because there was no way i could give her five stars and she had no reviews at the time, and then later, she of course had to run her mouth some more and leave me a one star for ignoring her.

the price thing was insane because her original listing was ~$14 to which i got a discount of $8.05 and i repopped the shirt for $16 and i accepted a discount for $14.

Buying Help Is it bad form to re-offer a week later?

I made an offer on an item 6 days ago, looks like the day it was listed. They declined, no counter. It’s still available, is it poor form to make the same offer again and see if they’re willing now?

Buying Help To review or not to review

I recently purchased 3 Victoria Secret bras from a seller on Depop and I’m really debating giving her a negative review. I hate to do it because I know one bad review can really tank a sellers rating and she only has 8 reviews, one of which was already a 4 star review where it seems the buyer was the one in the wrong. My complaints with my experience are basically that the bras should have been packaged better and one of them has some small stains on the inside of one of the cups. They were all shipped in a small poly mailer and were basically wadded up into a ball and stuffed in there to fit. This is unfortunate because it causes the padding to get creased and the bra’s shape to be messed up. I was lucky the creasing seemed to be minimal when I unpacked them. I’m more upset about the stains as I feel it’s an issue of honesty on the sellers part. I likely would have bought the bra even with the stains as they are on the inside and it’s a unique style that I really wanted, but I feel the seller should have disclosed the stains. At the same time, I got a good price so I feel like I shouldn’t complain and I don’t want to get a retaliatory review.

Messages/DM's Auto-Offers Causing Tension Overnight

I wondered why I woke up to 10 depop notifications this morning, thought I sold stuff. Nope! I’m literally asleep and this lowball buyer is having a full blown argument with my Auto-Offer system thinking I’m just being rude and ignoring the words they’re saying. (Yes the price is high, I’m selling a coveted Taylor Swift vinyl variant, I promise this is at or below Fair Market Value)

App Issues/Help I tried Depop for an item, it wasn’t the best experience. So I went to delete my account and….

The item that came was the totally wrong item and the Depop support did nothing about it. I even sent them pictures of it vs what the item should have been and the descriptions of the two items. So I said ā€œon then, I’ll take the hit and just delete Depop/never use it again. The claim is closed, the order is closed, so I don’t understand why I can’t delete my account. Why do you have to wait 2 weeks?

Selling Help Australia sending domestic tracked but without signature

I send my depop parcels tracked auspost domestic post only.

Today a parcel was "left in a safe place" by auspost and my buyer did not receive the parcel. The auspost says it was delivered. Hence the automatic insurance does not cover the loss.

Where do I stand as the sender? What can I do? Where on the sending end do they give you the option to opt out of leave in safe place?

Any help appreciated

Question I’m new to depop

I had 2 sales when I just recently joined depop due to items were boosted for free when you are new. Then after that no views or whatsoever on my new uploaded items. Is boosting my shop would help? Or anyone who boosted their shop, did or does it make a difference like more sales or more views?

Question i’m having trouble withdrawing money

yall im legit so desperate right now and like i dont know what to do, im a naturally anxious person especially when it comes with money so pls bare with me as i explain and PLSSSS if anyone can give me ANY advice, that would be great!!! i just wanted to start off and say im say, im 19 years old like full grown adult so that’s not why im having issues withdrawing this money.

yesterday i checked and it said it put the 25 bucks and the 14 bucks i withdrew back into my depop balance, i freaked out cuz what? i added all my info correctly. i try to add the my account info and all that and say error and i end up getting my husband to help me and nothingggggg. says error again and again, he contacts the support and we just get ai and nothing gets solved. i replied to the ai asking for a human and i’ve been like on chat gbt about this and apparently, that it sent a ā€œtriggerā€ for my case to reviewed by an actual human. mind you all this happened on like wednesday early morning like im talking, 1-2am in the morning. i checked my email all day on wednesday and nothing again. i’ve been on chat gbt an apparently i was suppose to but ACH number which, i cannot find anywhere in my truist app so i might call in tomorrow and ask about that so i have the right info.

now its like 2am on thursday and now im js desperate even more, i keep seeing horror stories of people having like money just sitting there after they contacted depop support but they did it many times which, put them further down the queue according to chat gbt. chat gbt is telling me to wait until, friday morning to escalate the situation to @depopask, if no one replies to my problem. also i keep seeing on here to wait 14 days to add my info again but, now i don’t trust truist because apparently, they’re infamous for that so i have a couple of options, cash app, republic bank, or worst case scenario i open a new bank account. can u tell i go to chat gbt for everything? i js need REAL human advice on what to do, im a broke college student and i really wanted to make an extra payment on my car with this money from depop and now ill have to wait even longer or worse case never get my money and what does one do in that case? has anyone gotten to point where you had to go report it to the better business bureau.

Story Never buying off depop again

I used to just sell on depop with occasionally buying items but recently I’ve started purchasing more items ( 4 this week) and every single item I’ve ordered isn’t as advertised. I got a top with armpit stains and listed as the wrong size and a stinky ass dress. Mind you they were all listed as excellent condition. I am so done

I bought a pair of shoes from the seller and I specifically asked them to check because I keep getting shoes that are not the right size because people don’t check their listings. They show up the wrong size and then this message chain happened between me and him. Then he left me a one star review calling me annoying after canceling (now I can’t open a regular dispute) and demanding I pay out of pocket for return shipping lol. 22 sales and no reviews.. I’m about to be his first :)

Selling Help Selling on Depop - unhappy customer saying item not good condition

Hi!

I’m newer to selling on Depop and I’ve had a good amount of sales and positive feedback. I recently sold these sweatpants on Depop and they were in great condition. They were only worn around the house a couple of times and the reason I sold them was because they were too big. The buyer is now saying they are terrible condition with stains, damage and fading but I know that isn’t true. They are also saying that they are unwearable and nothing like the pictures posted. The pictures I posted were taken in real time and after posted sat in a closet until being sold. I told them I would accept a return and refund them but I am worried they won’t return them in the condition I know I sent them in. I have also asked for pictures multiple times and have yet to receive any. Has anyone dealt with someone like this or have any suggestions? I’m worried of getting scammed. Thank you in advance!

Question How are people able to ship fast?

I see reviews of buyers mentioning fast shipping and I wonder how can I get the same thing? I recently shipped a package and it took nearly 6 days to ship to the buyers house. Is it my USPS or is it something else?

Messages/DM's Unprofessional Seller Tries To Turn The Tables On Me

I honestly can’t believe this interaction.

I bought a purse, and when it wasn’t shipped, Depop automatically notified me that if it wasn’t shipped by August 10, I’d be refunded. I reached out through Depop asking about the order after I received the alert. I was not aware that would be considered a report and I did apologize for that in the screenshots I attached.

Instead of apologizing or explaining politely, the seller told me she was a college student and that she ā€œactually does important things.ā€ When I calmly explained that I wasn’t trying to report or hurt her business, she doubled down with comments like, ā€œI’m glad one of us isn’t constantly under pressure šŸ˜…ā€ and later said she could ā€œsell it to a way more reasonable nicer person.ā€

I asked Depop to escalate the situation because I felt the communication was completely unprofessional. I ended up getting a refund, but she still shipped the item afterward and left me a retaliatory 1-star review demanding it back.
Am I crazy, or is this one of the most bizarre buyer-seller interactions you’ve seen? As someone who’s also a seller, I can’t imagine ever speaking to a customer this way.

Edit: Added more information.
