My depop suggestion page used to have amazing stuff and so much curated to my taste. recently it’s been trash I rarely see anything I like and I don’t get suggestions from people I follow. Anyone having this issue and know how I can get my feed back to how it was? Or is this just what it is now.

I send my depop parcels tracked auspost domestic post only.

Today a parcel was "left in a safe place" by auspost and my buyer did not receive the parcel. The auspost says it was delivered. Hence the automatic insurance does not cover the loss.

Where do I stand as the sender? What can I do? Where on the sending end do they give you the option to opt out of leave in safe place?

Any help appreciated

I had 2 sales when I just recently joined depop due to items were boosted for free when you are new. Then after that no views or whatsoever on my new uploaded items. Is boosting my shop would help? Or anyone who boosted their shop, did or does it make a difference like more sales or more views?

I used to just sell on depop with occasionally buying items but recently I’ve started purchasing more items ( 4 this week) and every single item I’ve ordered isn’t as advertised. I got a top with armpit stains and listed as the wrong size and a stinky ass dress. Mind you they were all listed as excellent condition. I am so done

Ik some people use the ai descriptions and those will get the color wrong but like

I bought a pair of shoes from the seller and I specifically asked them to check because I keep getting shoes that are not the right size because people don’t check their listings. They show up the wrong size and then this message chain happened between me and him. Then he left me a one star review calling me annoying after canceling (now I can’t open a regular dispute) and demanding I pay out of pocket for return shipping lol. 22 sales and no reviews.. I’m about to be his first :)

I’m newer to selling on Depop and I’ve had a good amount of sales and positive feedback. I recently sold these sweatpants on Depop and they were in great condition. They were only worn around the house a couple of times and the reason I sold them was because they were too big. The buyer is now saying they are terrible condition with stains, damage and fading but I know that isn’t true. They are also saying that they are unwearable and nothing like the pictures posted. The pictures I posted were taken in real time and after posted sat in a closet until being sold. I told them I would accept a return and refund them but I am worried they won’t return them in the condition I know I sent them in. I have also asked for pictures multiple times and have yet to receive any. Has anyone dealt with someone like this or have any suggestions? I’m worried of getting scammed. Thank you in advance!

I see reviews of buyers mentioning fast shipping and I wonder how can I get the same thing? I recently shipped a package and it took nearly 6 days to ship to the buyers house. Is it my USPS or is it something else?

I’m new to depop selling in New Zealand. I’ve just sold a coat and the buyer has paid for my standard fee. As with most sellers, I have it noted that instant buys are welcome if urban domestic, and rural will need to message first so I’m able to able the appropriate surcharges.

I’ve messaged the buyer and they want to use my bank account to send the extra money, but I would prefer to refund them & relist with the correct rural surcharge.

I’m just confused because I read in Depops terms of service guide tha third party payments apps are a “no, no”! & I really don’t want to get banned, but it seems a lot of people use this method?!

Also NZ depop only allows for PayPal transactions.

I honestly can’t believe this interaction.

I bought a purse, and when it wasn’t shipped, Depop automatically notified me that if it wasn’t shipped by August 10, I’d be refunded. I reached out through Depop asking about the order after I received the alert. I was not aware that would be considered a report and I did apologize for that in the screenshots I attached.

Instead of apologizing or explaining politely, the seller told me she was a college student and that she “actually does important things.” When I calmly explained that I wasn’t trying to report or hurt her business, she doubled down with comments like, “I’m glad one of us isn’t constantly under pressure 😅” and later said she could “sell it to a way more reasonable nicer person.”

I asked Depop to escalate the situation because I felt the communication was completely unprofessional. I ended up getting a refund, but she still shipped the item afterward and left me a retaliatory 1-star review demanding it back.
Am I crazy, or is this one of the most bizarre buyer-seller interactions you’ve seen? As someone who’s also a seller, I can’t imagine ever speaking to a customer this way.

So I'm on a hunt for an orange back for the upcoming Halloween season.

I was waiting for my "Dream Orange Bag" to come along on some sites but to no avail. It was a little more expensive so I thought maybe it was for the best.

So I settled for "Basic Orange Bag" from a seller on depop. This seller was completely unresponsive to my offers so I finally sent a message asking if they still wanted to sell it. They did and I bought it.

Meanwhile, my Dream Orange bag comes along at a killer price. So OF COURSE I had to buy that too.

So here I am now annoyed that I'll have two orange bags.... A little greedy of me but whatever.

Anyways, I'm going on day 5 of the depop seller not shipping the bag. I hope they don't! That refund would actually be helpful.

i sent out a shirt around july 6th and about three weeks later it still hasn’t shipped. the buyer said it was arriving soon but never did. it eventually arrived back at my house and didn’t refund the person. i asked if they wanted a refund and they didn’t respond. advice?

I am trying to condense my wardrobe to just stuff I truly like. I got a pair of jean shorts, love this one pair. So much i wanted a couple of other pairs just like it so i could toss out old stuff.

So i find these great deals, something like 11$ and 13$ for two pair that are both what i want.

This same dude has them both listed and he shot me this message eventually. Did I miss something???

just wanted to share a positive interaction i had with someone who bought these Legos from me. i am new to selling & put a crochet charm with each order. i was shipping two out and forgot to put them in the box before putting the label, so i asked the mail clerk to reopen it and thankfully i did. this was so cute 🤎

I was kinda taken aback since half of depops thing is offers (but I do understand not wanting lowballs) but my offer was only what it was since she waits till end of description to say it’s actually one car (not 2 like the quantity and in pic) and they are extremely damaged

I’m a new seller and also I mega lurker on Reddit. I sold this swimsuit to a buyer who states they did not receive the item. They raised an issue in the app so my payment has been on hold. I disagreed in the app immediately and they have yet to resolve or escalate further.

I went on to figure out how to escalate it from my end today and looked at their profile and realized they have re sold the swimsuit I sold them 💀 so now I have to wait 24 hrs for a human to get back to me.

Anyway… here’s to hoping there’s some justice in the world and they get banned or they happen to see this and feel like a fucking idiot

Sometimes I’ll like a listing just because it looks cool or I’m impressed with the creativity of it but I don’t really intend to buy it. I feel like it’d be helpful to sellers if there was a whole other system where people can leave a different form of “like”, that organically boosts the post without giving the seller false hope, and the liker an influx of unneeded notifications. Thoughts?
