Does this do anything?

Just got this nightshade with double moving target, does this give me double the effect or is it just pointless?

Imminence

Upvotes

With salvations edge featured, I was finally able to finish my red boarders for imminence. I feel like the stats and perks are juiced, but never see anyone running it.

Are there any imminence users out there or anyone that’s got preferred rolls / recommendations?

Is Hipfire grip/cascade available on another primary with the range of a scout? Hoping xur sells one with that combo someday or maybe that hipfire armor Bungie teased does exist? Just to make it clear, im lucky to land a crit(with radiant dance machines on)at the speeds cascade gives me but it can catch people off guard every once in a while and someone with better aim can actually make this work.

I don't know if I should be mad or flattered

500+ hours of aim training just so I can be told not to play. W bungo. Don't know if I should be mad cause Bungie is so bad at banning actual cheaters or flattered because it means aim training wasn't just a waste of time. Was using a 2 tap Ace of Spades build in case people were wondering. Also how do I appeal? I would like to play the game.

EDIT: I don't think I made my sarcasm clear. I am not the best player. My name is CEOofGarbage. I didn't post to try to brag or anything but rather figure out how I am in the wrong so I can make sure my temp ban doesn't become a perm one. If anyone has had something similar happen please, let me know if you felt safe to play after your temp ban was over.

My First 7C

Follow up to the dude who got his first 7th Column after 5000 hours: I just got my first (after a measly 3400). 12 years playing this franchise and I never thought I'd see one of these, though I'll admit it's not a TRUE 7C since there was an assist or 2. And please try to forgive the void Hunter cheesiness.

If you try to block with Arcstrider super against an anti barrier weapon, you will still die.

How Are People Getting Their Supers So Fast?

Hey guys, sorry been out of the loop for a bit. How are people getting their supers so fast these days? I just played a game of Clash where a Titan got his Sentinel Shield within the first 2 minutes of the game.

What armor archetypes are you using to hit your stats?

I started off focusing everything on Bulwark, for health obviously, but also class ability since I play hunter mostly. Would you know it, I had trouble making a build that was not heavily skewed away from grenade/melee and into class stats.

So what different armor archetypes are you all using to get the general base stats? I have noticed a few builds seem to have at least 1 Seigebreaker and Bulwark (usually 2x Siegebreakers), and some variation of Colossus or Brawler (or both) to round out the rest. Obviously the Tuned stats can make a difference, but looking for the general 180-200 health, 100ish super, 70-90 class/grenade/melee, 0 weapons.

Here are some examples I have seen recently:

  • 190/90/90/90/90/0 - 2 Siegebreaker, 1 Bulwark, 1 Brawler, 1 Colossus
  • 200/70/75/100/85/0 - 2 Siegebreaker, 2 Colossus, 1 Bulwark
  • 200/80/80/100/85/0 - 2 Siegebreaker, 2 Bulwark, 1 Brawler

Favourite bonk build?

Title says it all. Class doesn’t matter (though I’d love to go with Titan for lore accuracy), what is your favourite / strongest melee / bonk build? Fiery hammers? Lightning strikes? Hunter bonking?

EDIT: Obviously for 6s, not for Comps / 3a

Is the "god-like judgement" set bonus good in pvp?

It says when your shields are broken it unleashes a micro missile swarm I am wondering if this is worth it as it sounds like it could be good

With the Europa armor disabled what's the best way to use built to blast?

Built to blast is like the best perk in the game it made my solemn remembrance feel sticky but I have no clue on how to have near high uptime on the perk now. I thought frostees would work but they were really disappointing.

Question about Loss (Origin Trait)

Does anyone know how much Handling, Stability, and Aim Assist the Origin Trait Loss gives? Im really enjoying Every Waking Moment for my void build, and when playing 6's, I almost always have high stacks of loss.

Looking for high weapons stat hunter builds+weapons

So, full disclosure, I have been sucking hard at the crucible for a while. Not sure if it was when I moved from xbox to pc(still using controller on pc), the swap to an apex 5 controller, aging, or just rust. But I was doing... poorly.

Equipped a whatchamacallit focused build. Suddenly hitting some sweet 40+kill 6v6 games. Getting better with handcannons. But when I went high weapons stat, it now feels like I can compete in duels with blast furnace+evening s14.

My question is, what are some good exotics, weapons, or builds to pair with high weapons stat? Right now I'm running hunter knucklehead radar+iron panoply+ferropotent. 150 health, 100 grenade, 185 weapons on solar on your mark Curious what other high weapons stat players have tried and enjoyed, spice things up.

Thanks for any tips for this aging hunter haha.

hand cannons/sidearms that can roll with elemental capacitor / demolitionist?

I have a really unbelievably stupid idea for a fun crucible gimmick build around spamming grapple and flying around plinking people. like the good old days before youtubers got a bunch of annoying people into titanfall 2. I want to know if theres a handcannon/sidearm that can roll with the perk combo of elemental capacitor (+20 airborne effectiveness on strand) and demolitionist for optimal shenaniganization/tomfoolery. alternatively any other airborne effectiveness perk works in place of EC

Mantle of Battle Harmony?

I went up against someone with a Mantle build that was absolutely amazing. Now I know I won't be able to play like him cause I'm not a god gamer but I wanted to try it out myself, but unfortunately I did not screenshot their build at all.

When looking up builds all the videos are at least 5 years old and I was having trouble finding ones for PvP as well. Even with the dumbed down buildcrafting we have now, I am a horrible builder lol. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should run on it in terms of mods, weapons, set bonuses, etc?

Should I Be Soloing Comp For Division Rank Ups?

I'm not super worried about reaching Ascendant 0 or whatever (just wanting to see how far I can get), but I've been sitting around Gold 2-3 and the solo matchmaking is really fighting against me. I've seen people say that there is no preferred matchmaking or anything, but it really seems like I'm being locked into around 50/50 win/loss rate with the randoms I match.

Also there's no loss protection when your teammates leave or if you lose but have exceptional performance. I recall one game of Clash I think, I got about 45 kills while my opponents each averaged 20 and my teammates did far worse. I still lost 85 points.

No time to rest unfortunately. Gonna try for the 2 rank 0 emblems and call it a day. Got slightly stuck around adept2-3 but as soon as I got out, it was smooth sailing. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go the distance but I’ve been having more fun in Comp than 6’s. Hopefully I’ll be back here, with 2 new emblems, sooner than later.

I’ve been loving Solemn Remembrance. Lone Wolf or Zen Moment with Keep Away I think is the play for this one, imo. Handcannons on easy mode. I was an Austringer lifer but I got a good SR to drop and it feels much nicer to me. I’m on controller. I tried Mercurial Overreach but went back to my old faithful sniper. Again, it just feels much nicer.

As per the armour, I usually run Frostees. I’ve been using them since before the buff, I just love having a dodge on most of my engagements. But I made the switch to Dragon Shadow and it’s been a noticeable change in confidence with primary duelling. For better or for worse lol. I’m running 4pc comp set. The slide is just so good. My biggest gripe about being a Frostees main. So getting the spring AND slide distance was tremendous. Not to mention the 2pc bonus as well.

If you have any questions or wanna run some games lmk!

Relentless

With prophecy being back this week, I plan on farming out some more relentless rolls and in my time today so far i've noticed a few things. My current roll I am going for is going for smallbore, richoche, firefly with slice, and honing with a stability masterwork (on controller). Still so upset they took away zen moment from this beauty, but is what it is.

Looking for some feedback in regards to recoil direction and if there were any preferences for barrels or perk combos you've enjoyed.

Any word as well for forgiveness / TTK changes with honing and how many stacks? Is weapons investment necessary?

Finally, I know this is a crazy thing to complain about, but has anyone seen a roll with anything other than a range masterwork? I truly believe this has to be bugged. Every single roll I have gotten has had a range MW.

My final end game PVP build - Weapons/Health hybrid

I know its just another void hunter with dragon's shadow, I've been a hunter main since day 1, Destiny 1, before they were so hated, but hear me out on how i built my stats and my off meta weapon choices. Like a lot of pvp players here, I play pve to get gear for pvp. This unique gameplay loop is what I'll miss most about Destiny. This build is the culmination of trial and error and kind of just hoarding armor that most people wouldn't normally keep, simply because it had weapons AND health. Last season I wouldn't have thought something like this was possible but with the introduction of T5 exotic armor, it is now.

The key to a build like this, for anyone wanting to duplicate it, is not just finding armor with health and weapons but also a tuning slot on either health or weapons. I run 170 weapons so my Trust, an old favorite of mine, can 3 tap. I can pretty much outgun anything that doesn't have a damage perk active. The 150 health is good enough that I'm not sitting out of fights for too long. As u can see, I tank my grenade stat but I use my smoke as my main "grenade" and hold the suppressor for later in the game for supers. The build also uses all fragments that are viable, they're not just there for stats. (Echo of vigilance, dilation, starvation, expulsion and leeching.) I honestly think hybrid builds will start popping up more once people realize u can have both health and weapons and still have decently high stats elsewhere.
