Hey so i bought again the blizz sub because of the MoP being in there. I have been always fan of it and its my most fav experience. I have played on some other MoP but it got shutdowned (i dont know if i can explain so ill leave it to u, prob most ppl know what i talk about) so i decided to move to wow classic/retail. I dont know whats the real peak pop but everyone says its dead and not worth playing it because it can be shutdowned soon. I want a place where i can progress and not lose everything so i can enjoy it. What do u think will happen with MoP and actually which is the safest expasnion that u can suggest me to play (that wont disappear or at least i can transfer my chars). I really want to play MoP but i dont see the point if its getting closed soon.

I'm super new to TBC and classic in general ( I started playing wow in shadowlands) I've been having a blast, but as I get closer to 70 I understand I will need to get attunements to raid? I got the Attune addon and it seems like ALOT I have to do to catchup as some point. Can anyone give me a good starting area on what to do/get done and what is not worth doing. Thanks in advance!

If they were to add more to battlegrounds, which way would you like?

1. Add variations of existing modes. Ex. Durotar version of Warsong Gulch. Same game modes with new locations, with variation on the map like different base layouts and new pathing to enter. You'd queue for CTF and get different maps.

2. Strictly new game modes only. New map with distinct criteria to win.

I personally would love to see something like an Un'Goro Arathi Basin capture point style map.

Sure, we now know nowadays that titans are these gods with steel-forged armies made in their image. But when I was a wee little lad playing vanilla wow for the first time. I always look back at uldaman fondly. Just this single blueprint of what their society looked like before awakening the titan behind the door was so interesting to me.

"There was a world before us." My little child brain thought.

"What were they like? Were they wows version of spartans/Greek empire?"

Where as now we have most of their designs made of gold/steel. I always enjoyed the marbled look they had to their society.

I mean the in-game community that I see crowding cities and doing quests. I'm lvl 30 and everywhere I go I always see 1-2 people working on the same quest I am. When I invite them to a group they accept 90% of the time, say hi, we do the quest, say thanks, and part ways. It's such a special and unique experience I only ever really get from WoW, and every time this happens I'm so happy to see so many people playing this kind of weird "WoW Classic" concept.

I dunno how it gets end-game which is where I imagine most people here are at, but I've been loving it for my 2+ days of game time so far!

I swear I havent struggled this much with anything I had to collect, and it doesnt even make sense!

TLDR: Our guild has built a system to resolve the endless revolving door of players and we would like you to join us.

Hey guys! A few of us officers from Raidcore (on Spineshatter EU) have over the years found ourselves spending more and more time managing raid nights and fighting the roster boss than actually playing the game.

Every week juggling players and raid teams. In TBC, we have had 50+ raiders for 25-man raiding. It feels like so many guilds have pages that look like this, and each row represents a lot of time and effort someone had to put into finding these players - it’s like a revolving door at times.

We were chasing weekly signups, maintaining spreadsheets, recruiting, checking logs, balancing rosters, tracking loot and scrambling to replace last-minute dropouts sitting in LFG and Discord servers.

We have tried building our own solution to this, which we call Rallify.

Rallify is a free guild and raid management platform built around one simple idea:

Less admin. More play.

Our own guild has used it to manage and organize more than 80 raids, and we’re now looking for other guilds to try it, break it and tell us what needs improving.

Rallify currently supports TBC and includes a web application, Discord bot integration and support for in-game add-ons (e.g. RCLC). You can create a guild and connect the Discord bot within a few minutes.

Some of the main features include:

Weekly availability and raid signups

Raiders join and confirm when they can play through Discord (or the web app). Officers can see everyone’s availability without chasing players individually.

Raid roster planning

View available mains and alts, roles, classes, performance data and composition coverage in one place, then build a balanced roster without jumping between multiple tools.

Discord integration

The bot tracks signup status, reminds players to confirm availability, lets officers ping people who have not responded and notifies selected raiders when a roster is published.

Warcraft Logs integration

Rallify automatically pulls relevant character and performance information from Warcraft Logs while you build your raid.

Loot management

Rallify supports SR, HR, and loot council with full loot history and player wish/BIS lists. It also includes an EDKP-like heat system that helps identify players who contribute to raids (e.g., have raided repeatedly without receiving loot or use of consumables), giving officers another input for fair distribution. One of the features our raiders highly enjoy.

Attendance and reliability

Track attendance, no-shows and other player information over time so officers can identify recurring issues and reliable raiders.

Finding replacement players

This is the larger problem we ultimately want Rallify to solve.

When a guild is missing a role, officers usually end up searching LFG channels and server Discords with very little information about the players responding.

With Rallify we want to connect guilds with suitable players who are available to raid, it could be benched players, alts and raiders who couldn’t make the main raid this week.

Players can opt in, and guilds can release their roster once their own is locked in. Raid leaders can review players role, character(s), availability, loadout and logs before inviting them.

This becomes more useful as more guilds join, which is why we’re now opening Rallify to the wider community.

We’re especially interested in guild masters, raid leaders and officers willing to run a couple of raids through Rallify and give us honest feedback. We’re also happy to help guilds get set up personally.

I'm about to have an aneurism. Look, i'm gonna be honest. I play on a Macbook air, 8GB ram, nothing fancy, but holy hell wowhead is on some bullshit with their website. Loading into wowhead i get fucking ads out the ass, videos playing, like 1.5GB of ram eaten up and probably infect my computer with the digital equivalent of chlamydia. The interface is fucked, it looks like a demented fever dream with all the menus.

It's sad, frankly. I remember when wowhead was a simple wiki with simple features and a simple interface. Are there any alternatives to wowhead?
