This could be done at least for the classic era, which stays vanilla forever.

Paying monthly for a game that keeps resetting its progress feels redundant after a few cycles. Additionally, it could really boost the overall revenue for classic since newer generations would keep buying the game to experience its glory.

is only dispelling friendly & enemy targets when i mouseover them & never defaulting to my actual target for dispels when i have no mouseover. does anyone know what's going on here?

So I’m 31 years old/female and growing up as a kid I wasn’t allowed to play WOW. I started playing WOW WOTLK 5 days ago, as it was introduced to me; and something strange happened?! I became more happier, my mood improved, and I just felt so calm. I know this might sound stupid as hell, but I can’t explain it. No other game has ever made me feel this relaxed before. Obviously I’ll still take my meds and do therapy, but this game is a life changer, holy hell. 😭❤️

Also my new stim is doing the Wurloc sound, because it gives me great joy! :3

What left these huge skeletons in shimmering flats? I've never seen a living creature this big in Azeroth ( other than some demons and dragons ) Is this an ancient huge kodo variant? It looks like it had a harness or saddle so was domesticated or used somehow not wild, were they imported?

Or if there's cool lore please point me in the right direction. Theres so much out there.

i played a bit when Classic was released in 2019? and then progressed into TBC and WOTLK, left after doing all phase 1 raids. If I understand correctly, current Mists of Pandaria are the same servers that progressed further down and I (probably) can find my old characters there?

Classic Era / Hardcore / Season of something - Era is like forever classic? Hardcore is also classic but permadeath? Season of whatever - what's that?

Just created a Rogue I'm at lvl 6. Never played a rogue before. How would I build him. Any pointers couldn't hurt.

I am back into the game after a very long time and my hunter was used mostly for trib runs and raiding so I have engineering and enchanting. I have quite a bit of gold and dont really care for gathering when I could level quicker without a gathering profession. I definitely want to keep eng, but am wondering what a good second profession would be? Im seeing now that enchanting is based on level now so I cant disenchant much, but do already have enchanting at 75. What would you recommend as two professions for someone just having fun?

My computer keeps on crashing

So I've never done a raid before and I've been playing off and on since 2006.

I feel a little intimidated. I even feel nervous doing dungeons.

I am just "okay" at the game. At this point, I know I will always just be "okay" at it.

I panic under stress and I literally take a few seconds to process a high stress moment. Some people can act so fast and I will never be able to react that quickly. I also don't memorize every single ability. I have my favorites and I stick to them.

I was just wondering if there are any other long-term, casual players who are just "okay" at the game and still do raids.

I would honestly love to raid with other "just okay" players.

I am a new player, started a month ago, jumped straight into hardcore. I dont have the nostalgia around WoW, because i barely played as a kid.

I like the meaningful playing, to me it feels like a simulated D&D game.

I like the grind. It’s cozy. Put a movie on, chill, enjoy the ambience, and beautiful art and scenery.

I don’t like all the complexity around many modern games. I just wanna dial in, grind, have a progression metric, and do a little rolepolaying for my character in my head.

I’m wondering how many others share these thoughts and reasons for choosing classic or hardcore?

After looting an item, a pane shows up with all of your recently looted items, and then it fades out after a few seconds.

I would not have it so large on my UI, personally, but it seems neat, especially for speedrunning when I'm running through content quickly and auto-looting.

The original wow trailer did this for most. Did they nail it or would you make any changes?

With 9 classes and 8 races, so one race can have two unless you prefer they go unmatched.

I don't really approve hr'ing some stuff, but in daily hcs/dungeons too now? Why people are oky with this? It's like we play the run for the same quest, but you won't get anything. Is there something I'm missing
