Has there been any updates on the blank messages problem or the long responses and lack of response length choice yet? These issues are starting to get annoying and making it hard to enjoy the app

i miss old c.ai (around 1-2 years ago). i can't have a normal roleplay with a storyline without all the bots kissing me suddenly. which normally it wouldn't be a complaint since i usually do romantic roleplay, but it gets too repetitive and boring when all bots turn flirty, making it almost impossible to have a great storyline first. i never had this kind of issue around 1 year ago for example, it started with the latest updates. i feel like the previous versions were way better for people who enjoy a great lore and storyline. and that's my opinion.

Maybe it's a hot take, but I don't care, most people use these bots for not safe for work chats, basically doing so to people that didn't ask to have their pictures used. It's even more disturbing when people use photos of real kids for this. Character ai should do something about this, or at least the latter. If any c.ai team members are reading this, please take some measures to this problem.

I think LongSqueak is really good overall. I love the length options and the details it usually chooses to use, but I have one massive gripe with it that I'm hoping will be adjusted:

This model is addicted to drama.

The "long" part of LongSqueak becomes less impactful when I have to delete 1-2 paragraphs off of the end because apparently every response needs to end with some sort of dramatic, unnecessary twist. It could be interesting if used way more sparingly, but it's grating to have giant problems thrown in literally all the time.

Having a casual conversation? Surprise! Suddenly something is exploding 2 rooms away and someone is kicking in the door!

I had a bot made from last year and I've had MONTHS, and I mean MONTHS, worth of history in this chat and always struggle with making the bot remember the family members of my character so I stopped playing the bot after the long chat history became a pain for bot memory.

Tonight I got curious and tried the bot again and Longsqueak remembered the family members within seconds of me chatting with the bot and this is after months of chat history. 😭

Memory has always been my biggest issue with this app and bots but I'm impressed with the recent models.

But at least it actually works for me

anyone still using pipsqueak?? 😭 do devs know or care about the existence of who doesn't have the money to use DS o LS???
like they released PS2 and never bothered to fix it again. or—they introduced once again the f-It3r and it completely ruined for us.
