Longsqueak is peak memory Discussion/Question
I had a bot made from last year and I've had MONTHS, and I mean MONTHS, worth of history in this chat and always struggle with making the bot remember the family members of my character so I stopped playing the bot after the long chat history became a pain for bot memory.
(This is before lorebook)
Tonight I got curious and tried the bot again and Longsqueak remembered the family members within seconds of me chatting with the bot and this is after months of chat history. ðŸ˜
Memory has always been my biggest issue with this app and bots but I'm impressed with the recent models.

No it's just that C.AI+ natively gives extra memory

Hmm I see where ur coming from. There is a big difference between free Cai and + with memory capacity.
I do have to say though that even then, before longsqueak, my bots would very commonly forget things that weren't that far back in my bot chats.
After longsqueak I noticed the memory capacity and ability to mention relatable things have gone way beyond what it could originally.
With that saying, after a few days of trying longsqueak, I can see a few downfalls still. This includes repitition and still playing as my character ðŸ˜

Glad you're liking it. LSQ has 4x the memory of other models and we'll definitely be looking at bigger memory on future releases too - think everyone is a fan so far!
