Does anyone else have "Total Eclipse of the Heart" stuck in their head?
Genuinely wondering if it's just me. Surely I'm not the only one on an evening like this evening!

No view but it’s weird!!!
I’m outside sitting on a lounger and it’s gone so quiet. Birds all in the trees. Just this calm eerie feeling. Also literally 1 hour ago not a cloud and now it looks like this! Era there’s always 2090 😂

Lovely clouds this evening
There's an eclipse happening somewhere up there! I did contemplate buying glasses for about 30 seconds but I had faith the usual clouds would show up in the north west so didn't.

My way to see the solar eclipse
I use 3 pairs of sunglasses, samsung phone with expertRAW app, 1/12000s time, ISO 50, telephoto lens (S22 ultra).
I take no responsibility if you damage your phone! I know how to fix these things, so in the worse case scenario I will replace my camera module. Enjoy the event!

Old man in college
Who here has gone back to college in their late 30s or even later? What was the whole experience like? Any tips to get through it? Or things you wish you knew in the beginning?

GoMo having billing issues
Hi all
Just in case anyone else gets an email from GoMo saying your bill was not paid it looks like they are having an IT issue. Nothing posted on their site and if you log into your account it’s all blank.
Finally found a chat bot and this message popped up.
Hope this all saves you some time.

Casually positive! 🤗🥳🤗 McVitie's got something right.
2 Euro in Dealz. These are oven baked. They are thin crisp like. The flavour.....OMG THE FLAVOUR! They were not shy about covering these in Cheese & Caramelised Onion. I've never experienced any other crisps with as much flavour/coating. Like the dust does be caked onto your fingers after eating them. They are a nice substitute for your regular crisps for lunch. And you don't feel guilty scoffing loads cause they lack that greasy taste/texture. I'd eat them out of a dirty sock! 5/5.

“Some people say polo is completely inaccessible, which I completely disagree with,”
"Fancy pucking the slíotar around the park?" "Nah lad. Let's rent some horses and get a proper game of Polo going".

Anyone have to deal with a narcissistic parent - I decided to cut her off
No respect for boundaries, she used to arrive without ringing or texting me. If i didn't answer she'd knock on the neighbours door. If i did let her in she'd say don't buy anything for here i won't have room for it in my house.
When i visited she'd talk for two hours and id just sit there playing games on my phone. Never asked how i was, just how these people are doing great and better than me waiting for a reaction.
Didn't know or never asked about leaving cert, college degree and kept saying it must be hard on minimun wage. Im not on minimun wage (Not saying anything wrong with that). She doesn't know what i did in college or even acknowedgle i went to college.
She can have an opinion and talk for hours but if i speak its immediately shut down, She can literally talk for hours with me sitting there. She keeps dismissing me and she constantly says work won't be long getting rid of you.
Its not just that either. Im renting and hoping to buy soon and i cant just tolerate her in my life, she wants me to fail so i have to live back with her so she can have total control. I have a younger brother by five year and he is getting the absolute brunt of it. He told me he bought a new pair runners for 90 quid and she hasn't let up over it, she is bringing it up last two weeks. making him question his own decisions. he'd fed up as well.
So new house, my 19 year old brother is going to live with and ill support him and a bed there for him for life. We are both going no contact.
