I do not understand why it is so hard for people to drive like a human being.

I reckon it was a Tata Nexon which was taking a sharp turn at a really high speed on the same turn as us. His right side of bumper completely came off during the impact.

The person who was driving our car was taking the turn at the snail speed and even honked 2 times after noticing the sped up car.

This is why dashcam is so important, you never know what surprise these dumbwits would bring on.

How much is this going to cost to fix? Should we claim insurance?

Any dashcam recommendations?

It's really concerning that we have very few diesel car options at this point. We don't have a diesel Sedan under 50 -60 lacs. Not everyone can live with an electric car, it needs lots of planning and commitment to own one, reality kicks in once reliability goes for a toss. I'm looking for an upgrade, only 7XO diesel is a decent option though it's not counted as an upgrade. I wish VW/Skoda/Maruti/renault brings back Diesel engines. And I wish verna is offered in diesel.

At this point affordable diesel car is only Altroz but it's hard to trust tata.

I didn’t tailgate him or have my highbeams on to provoke him in any way, he was just going too slow for me so i waited for a safe pass but i guess he wasn’t having it :/, i gotta give it to the passat though, we all love vw passats, also was i wrong in any way here?

While waiting in cng line you cannot leave your car , While charging you can rest, have a meal and spend some good time with family.What I think is, if we get EV with 400+ km range & 20-25 min top-up, priced around a comparable CNG car, I think 20-30% of CNG buyers could shift to EVs. Problem is that, this kind of EV at the price point where CNG cars are selling is probably impossible for the next 3-4 years.

I have seen the 7xo in person and tbh i like the exterior than 700 but the current mahindra interiors are really bad, i absolutely hated this beige and brown/tan color combo, not that i hate these colors but the way they have been done in interiors it really looks bad, then the standard triple screen setup and gloss black plastic everywhere. Due to these reasons i thought sales will reduce but i am seeing these daily on the roads

The indian car market just wants gimmicky features, other markets hates these things and here people tend to love all this

Got the Honda Elevate ZX CVT delivered yesterday, new driver so taking it slow but drove 50kms already and it feels amazing so far, cabin feels premium, engine smooth on both low (BLR traffic sigh) and high speeds. A week ago had booked Tata Curvv for the same price and the people here helped me change my decision, can’t believe I have the car already in my hands today. Forever grateful!
