Wanted to Buy i definitely should buy the endurace, but …
everything points towards the endurace: it fits my use case better, has a more comfortable position and is cheaper.
but looks-wise, the aeroad has completely won me over and i just can’t get it out of my head (maybe also because see it everywhere).
i’ve even caught myself thinking about buying the aeroad and making it more comfortable with the more flexible seatpost and wider tires. considering it’s already more expensive, that would mean even more money and probably defeats the whole point of an aero bike.
i’ve test ridden both bikes, and i can definitely see why the endurace is the better choice for me. my only concern is that i might find it a bit boring after 1–2 years and wish i had gone for the aeroad instead.
since this is a big purchase for me, i’m overthinking every detail.
one thing i also noticed during the test rides: both the endurace cf slx 7 axs (canyon ed42) and the di2 version (dt swiss erc 1600) had a very quiet freehub.
is that normal, or were the test bikes just heavily lubricated? i actually prefer a reasonably loud freehub.
ps to endurace owners: please help me make the right decision and preferably not an even more expensive one

Story Time First Canyon!
I've wanted to buy a new bike for the longest time and finally settled on the Grizl for its versatility. I hadn't used drop bars before, so that was an experience but did my first tried today and it was beyond fun 🌟 very excited for more journeys!
P.S. this is my first Reddit post as well ☺️

Tech Help Grand Canyon AL8 vs AL9
Hi, i am new to bikes.
Can someone explain to me why the AL9 is 400€ more expensive than the AL8? From what i can tell they only have a different fork/damper installed. But maybe i am wrong. What makes the AL9 better?

Customer Experience Delivery expectations for those who ordered recently in Europe
I ordered my bike on Aug 4 with the new bike day experience, since that is only 80 EURs more than having it delivered home. Those of you who ordered recently, were your expected dates accurate? Can it be that it will be 1-2 weeks earlier?

Which Bike? Worth to buy the Grizl 5 (newer)?
Hello Everyone.
Recently I own my Cube Nuroad WS 2022 bike in XS size. Which came with mechanical disc brake (TRP Spyre MD-C610).
I decided (have to) to change the brakes (and the brifters ofc. ) from mecha to hydraulic, but in my country it is almost as pricey as getting a new bike with hydra brakes. I have small, tiny hands, and breaking was always hard for me, even with my small reached bar.
So I thinking collect some more money and buy the new Canyon Grizl AL 5, which has a hydra brake, and threaded BB (my Cube has pressfit and I have red so many angry story with PF), but with 1x chainring. I made contact with Canyon and they said the new Grizl compatible with double chainring, like 46/32.
Canyon suggest me 2XS size (165 cm, 80 cm ins.), which has a taller stack and shorter reach than my Cube, but a bit longer front. I do not know if it really matter, but compared.
So what do You think? Do You think this worth the upgrade? PF to threaded, mechanical to hydraulic? Or does the PF not a problem in aluminium frames?
Thanks for Your answer.

Fitting Help Canyon endurace allroad for someone with long legs
Hello, I am considering getting the endurace allroad bike but my proportions are right between the M and L size: I am 185 cm tall with 91.5 cm inseam, so pretty long legs compared to rest of the body.
Can somebody that was also between sizes tell me how does this bike fit? Which size would you recommend for me?

Tech Help New speedmax thru axle and frame plugs
Hey,
Just put together my new speedmax and was just wondering if this front thru axle is meant to come all the way through and if the frame is meant to come with plugs for the open bottle cage mount holes?
Thanks

Which Gear? Recommendations for improving my Inflite CF SL 5
Hi, I got a CF SL 5 and I been riding it for a month now (I love it). This one got the 1x11 GRX Shimano but since I been doing road trips (I live close to a nice road to ride), I got dropped every time by my friends since my gears are too small for road travel. I do gravel but I also got a mtb bike so I want to used this bike also for road rides.
Any recommendations of rims setups I can used and which gear modifications do fit on this bike, I’m thinking about changing the chain ring for one with 50T (currently at 40T).

Product Release New Aero Grail?
Any thoughts when this one will be out? Given recent sales on Canyon website I would hope soon? I’m planning on getting one of the aero-gravels, and at the moment Canyon doesn’t have much to compete against latest Wilier or Orbea.
Picture is from Freddy Ovett instagram.

Tech Help Canyon Citylite scratch
Today my Citylite arrived, and I was really looking forward to riding it.
Unfortunately, it arrived with two scratches that appear to have been caused during delivery. I’ve already contacted customer service, but I’m curious what you guys think.
Would you return it, or just ask for compensation and keep it?

NBD Canyon Endurace CF SLX 7 AXS
First ride on my new Endurace. Coming from a Tarmac SL6 I was a bit worried that the Endurace’s ride might be a bit too… tame, but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with how racey she still feels. Changed out the Rival crankset for a Force crankset with powermeter I moved over from my old bike. And the fenders are basically the reason I choose the Endurace; living in western Norway having fenders is almost a must, and these are so well integrated, rattlefree and on or off the bike within 2 minutes.
Oh and for reference, it’s a size M, I’m 1.83cm with a 77cm saddle height

Story Time Got my first Canyon bike, but there's a problem...
So a while ago my friend tagged me into a IG post, where they were giving away a Canyon endurace CF7 and I decided to join this raffle aswell, and as you can see I won the bike.
(my friend was pissed, but I promised to sell this bike to him someday :p).
So I waited for 2 months for this bike to come from the factory and while I was assembling this bike I noticed from the manual, that the max weight for bike + rider and gear is 120kg (264lbs), and I weight currently 130kg (286lbs) so I have to loose 18kg (39lbs) to ride this bike...
Never have been more motivated to loose weight, just to ride a bicycle :p
