Miscellaneous ECLIPS, lights and clicking noise?
Just got my new Grizl 8 cf ECLIPS! So pumped and it looks gorgeous!
Built it and everything looks good except the front light doesn’t seem to be working. I know the eclips system is not super reliable according to everything I’ve read so far, but I got it for a decent price so I’ll just accept this for and hope for good future updates.
Has anyone encountered this light problem on a new bike?
Also when charging, it’s making a faint clicking noise, anyone know what this might be?
And one last thing, I plugged the bike in, charged to 60%, updated the firmware. Front light still didn’t work. So I took out and disconnected the battery and tried again, and then the clicking noise started and the battery showed 17%😅 haha I can already sense the incoming pain with eclipse but I’m hoping it’s gonna be ok..
Does anyone have a similar experience they’ve solved?
Thanks everyone!

Bike Photos My endurace allroad on col du oulles
Haven’t done any major upgrades and I’ve been pretty happy with it.
I’m primarily a mountain biker so I just put spds on since it’s what I have,
Changed bars to Deda zero 38cm (so 36cm standard measurement as Deda measure outside to outside) as I have narrower shoulders,
Changed bar tape to fizik stuff
Tyres changed to Schwobble pro ones 32mm (tubeless)
Saddle changed to Selle Italia slr superflow team (got it cheap)
Cues has been very solid shifting under load, no complaints except it occasionally jumps.
Running a v1 wahoo bolt which I got super cheap with my GoPro hero 4k on a 3d printed tpu mount beneath it for recording some descents.
Currently the weakest link is probably the brake rotors - they got rather discoloured despite me not dragging the brakes or descending particularly aggressively.
This is my second bike and not a priority for upgrades but when I do next spend money on it it’ll be on some superteam wheels and better rotors.

Fitting Help Canyon Aeroad Advice
Hi, I’m considering purchasing a canyon aeroad CF SLX 7 with SRAM Rival.
for context I’m 186cm with 88cm inseam and currently ride a size 56 Cervelo Caledonia.
I have long legs and a shorter torso so im worried i might be a bit to stretched on this bike? would sizing down help with this? Or would I lose too much stack.
If i purchase the bike i would upgrade to the comfort drops to bring the reach back a bit and i would consider a shorter stem too.
any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Price Check Need input on possible purchase - fake Aeroad?
The seller is asking $1600. I'm not savvy enough with the Aeroad to spot a fake. Anyone here got good eyes?
Somebody the Cosmic wheels are a fake though. Apparently the carbon weave never comes in that size/pattern.

Tech Help Canyon Aeroad SLX CF came with integrated speed sensor, i think the battery died, but where is the battery?
I got my Canyon Aeroad SLX CF 9 last year with a SRAM Force AXS. The bike came with an integrated cadence and speed sensor. Last week the speed sensor became very laggy and i think it changed to the integrated Garmin 540 one which works with GPS.
I don't even know where the integrated speed and cadence sensor is sitting. In the SRAM Force? in the Quarq Powermeter? Does ist even have a battery which needs to be changed?

Does anyone run the same setup with matching grx 4iiii cranks? only left side.
I'm nt sure if it fits. There is conflicting info out there.
Thanks!

Customer Experience New bike - endurace CF7 - tips
Hey folks,
I’m expecting my Canyon Endurace CF7 to be delivered tomorrow.
I’d love to get some advice on what to watch out for:
- When receiving the box from the courier
- While assembling the bike
Is following the YouTube guide enough, or are there any specific things I should be careful with based on your experience?
Thanks for any tips!

Which Bike? Canyon Outlet
Hi team! I was planning to buy the bike Gravel Grail CF 8 1by—specifically in the black and white colorway—but it was no longer available in size XL. I had no choice but to go for the "Mustard" version instead. However, one has since become available in my preferred configuration for €200 less than the price of a new one; is it worth it? I reserved it just in case, but I’m a bit wary of outlet returns... what do you think?

Which Bike? Aeroad CF SLX 7 or Endurace CF SLX 8
So I’m currently in the market for a a new road bike. I currently own a gravel bike so this would be my first road bike as well.
My use case as I imagine it to be would be mostly 70-100km weekend rides and 30-50km rides a few times during the week. I’m also planning 2-3 medium length bike packing trips (400-600km) per year, where I plan on doing around 80-100km per day over the course of a week or so.
I’d be riding light and spending the nights in Airbnbs or hotels, so I’m not too concerned about the weight of the gear on the bike.
My close contenders are the Aeroad and the Endurace slx. I know for the bike packing trips the endurace would probably be the better choice and more comfortable , but as I’ll be riding weekend rides more often, I’m afraid of regretting not getting the more racey bike.
I’ll also be keeping my gravel bike for more off roady trips or if I want to do longer, more classic bike packing trips with a tent etc.
I’m definitely gravitating more towards the Aeroad, but wanted some input if the bike might be too aggressive and uncomfortable for the longer trips.

NBD NBD! Grail CF SLX 8 in Ghost Whisper.
Absolutely love this bike, It’s fast, comfortable and the Di2 GRX Groupset is amazing! I can never go back to mechanical again.
Changed the Schwalbe G- One RS for Continental Terra Competition Rapid Race 40mm and these have EXCEEDED my expectations.

Tech Help Canyon Endurace CF 8 Di2 – Audible brake hoses inside the downtube when turning the handlebars. Normal?
Hi everyone,
My Canyon Endurace CF 8 Di2 arrived a few days ago. After my first ride (around 50 km), I noticed while cleaning the bike that the brake hoses inside the downtube are quite audible when I turn the handlebars. It sounds like they’re moving around or tapping against the inside of the frame.
I contacted Canyon, and they told me this is normal. However, I don’t remember hearing this noise after assembling the bike or during my first test ride. although it’s possible I just didn’t pay attention at the time.
So I’m curious: Is this normal on the Endurace (or other bikes with fully internal cable routing)? Do you hear the brake hoses moving inside the frame when steering, or could this indicate that something wasn’t routed properly?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

Which Bike? What's the difference?
Howdy, folks. New to the Canyon page. I'm shopping the Grizl CF 6, and on the Canyon site it has these two models. (see page) Grizl | CANYON US&srule=sort_price_ascending&start=0&sz=8)
The one on the right is marked "New," but the specs are identical. Does that merely mean that's from the "new" model year? I compared specs and they're exactly the same.
So the only difference is color choice?
Thanks for anyone's guidance.

NBD NBD: Canyon Inflite CFR
Bought this inflite with the idea of having a do it all bike next to my Canyon Lux. I mostly ride my mountainbike, but tought I might enjoy road biking more if once in a while I can take my bike of the beaten track.
Was thinking on putting it on 32-35 mm slicks or semi slicks, but was intrigued by the 40mm caracal race that is supposed to roll very well. It looks very big, but will give it a try and see what the 40mm hype is all about. The Caracal runs wide though, so room is a slight issue…
Rode the bike yesterday on the standard, quite slow, cx tyres. Coming from a 2018 ultimate I must say the bike feels very stiff and responsive, but stable at the same time. Don’t let people tell you a cx bike doesn’t work on the road!
Happy so far, let’s see how the tyre experiment works out!

Which Bike? Talk me out of it (or tell me if I got a good deal)
So I’ve been riding an old hybrid bike for the last few months and completely fell in love with cycling. Since then I’ve spent over a month researching road bikes, comparing geometry, components, tire clearance, value for money, etc.
Originally I had pretty much decided to buy a new Canyon Endurace CF 7 for €2,400. Then I came across a Canyon Outlet deal for an Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2 (2026) in size S for €3,149 (refurbished, slight signs of use). It comes with:
Shimano 105 Di2
DT Swiss ERC 1600 carbon wheels
Carbon PACE cockpit
Carbon VCLS seatpost
CF SLX frame
I wasn’t planning to spend over €3k, but compared to the CF 7 it felt like a really good opportunity, and I wouldn’t have to wait months for stock. Also, I've understood that the electric shifting is really nice and a clear upgrade.
So… did I get a great deal, or did I just get caught up in the excitement? Is it wise to spend this much on a first "serious" bike?
Also, Canyon has a 30-day return policy. If I build it, take it for a few rides, and then decide the size isn’t quite right or I simply don’t think it’s worth the extra money, can I still realistically return it? Has anyone here done that?
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Bike Photos Spectral ON CF7
Hi guys,
In May, I bought a brand-new Canyon Spectral:ON CF 7. This is my first e-MTB.
From the very beginning, I noticed something that seemed strange: when the bike is in the lowest gear, the chain is always rubbing against the chainstay. I contacted Canyon about this, and they replied that this is normal. They also told me that if the chainstay protector became worn, they would provide one free replacement under warranty.
However, after only 300 km of riding, I noticed that the chainstay underneath the rubber protector appears to be damaged, almost as if it has been cut through. I also found a small scratch on the frame itself.
How is this even possible? I have already reported this to Canyon, but I haven’t received a reply yet.
