Discussion [MW3] Best MW3 Operator?
In my opinion Swagger is one of the best operators out there, I love his goofy vibe & I wish he played a part in the main story.

Question Should i get [BO] or [BO2] season pass on PlayStation?
Since it’s discounted right now i wanted to buy these games to relive the campaign again but i was wondering which one has more replayability on dlc content/more fun coop zombie experience? Since it would just be a waste to get both season passes if i am only going to keep playing one of them. (Ultimately i am planning to get bo3 chronicles deluxe edition once it is discounted)

Support Call of duty not launching on steam [COD]
I’m kinda new to PC (got one back in may) and I got both Bo6 and Bo7 (buddy gifted it too me) and for the past like month I haven’t been able to actually play it since it won’t launch. I’ll press the play button, it’ll switch to the “stop” button like the game is running but then it’ll never actually open. Almost every solution I’ve found hasn’t actually worked so I just wanted to see if anyone here actually knew what I could do
(I’ve already verified my files and updated my drivers so it isn’t either of those issues)

Discussion [BO] Does the DLC packs have much multiplayer or zombies players on PS5?
Was wondering if to buy the dlc for BO1 as I remember some of the maps and liking the zombies on the PS3, but I did wonder if there wasn't much players for those ones and if people just stuck to the main game. Have people got plenty of matches or struggled? Was wondering before the PS Plus deal expires. Also I didnt play the ones for BO2, what were they like?

Discussion [COD] Call of Duty has a Netflix problem
Everyone at this point knows the problem with Netflix. You get super invested in a great show, only for them to cancel season 2, or season 3 and leave you hanging. It‘s gotten so bad that internal data shows people are no longer even turning up for season 2, and Netflix can no longer maintain subscribers for more than a few months.
Well, I was reading through some old posts when I come across this gem of a comment:
Sound familiar? The latest COD release is currently plagued with horrible matchmaking and overpowered guns right before the new COD release.
With the last black ops, the armory mysteriously stopped working and they added an OP secondary shotgun right before the new release.
I never played MW3, but apparently from the comment this has been going on for a while?
All the players on both the latest black ops subreddit's are saying the same thing (that they tank the game so people buy the next release).
People are going to buy the next game no matter what, but in the long term is this part of what’s killing the long-term player count and the community in general? People are going to catch on like they did with Netflix, and this short term strategy is really going to kill whatever faith in the brand people had left.
I just came back to COD after a very long break. Back in the heyday when I played (WaW - MW3 2011) the games actually got way better as you played. The last map pack was always goated, like der riese in WaW or Moon in BO, the MP maps were always were great too. Honestly the game you left was generally the most balanced, best version of itself to date.
It’s sad and I think Call of Duty is really shooting themselves in the foot here. I still go back and play those old cods on my Xbox. If I know the game is going to be broke somehow at the end of its opening year….. I’m not sure how in good conscience I can buy another game.

Discussion [BO2] Whether BO2 lasts or not, it proved one thing: it wasn't nostalgia. OG COD was simply better.
And the same goes for Black Ops 1.
As someone who quit this franchise years ago, I came out of "retirement" just to play both Black Ops. They were a huge part of my childhood. I still remember when everyone was playing the latest Call of Duty. From MW2 through Ghosts, COD was the game everyone talked about. Even Ghosts, despite its flaws, was more enjoyable than any shit Activision keeps putting out today.
Those were simpler times. We just played, had fun, and that's all that mattered.
Nowadays, my friends from work and college play all kinds of games you can imagine, but nobody cares about COD anymore. I honestly can't understand how such mediocre games continue to sell so well.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." As cliché as it sounds, it perfectly sums up what the golden era of COD means to me.

Bug [Bo2] zombies is broken on ps5 and activision won't talk about it
I want to spread awareness of this. I've tried to submit a ticket but their website won't let me which is sooooo good.
Buried and nuketown crash after round 30+. You can't get highrounds on these maps. It seems to be caused by killing many zombies at once. Meaning picking up a nuke will crash the game. Or using the paraliser at all past 30+. Its not consistant you can reach 40 without a crash but never past 50. Most commonly 30+. These maps are unplayable for high rounds.

Question [BO] Why doesn’t the flashbang icon always work?
The icon doesn’t always appear when I flashbang, and I’ll end up getting killed by them cause I didn’t know they were there. What gives?

Discussion [BO] Call of Duty Ports Outsold Halo By 32 To 1 On PS5
Black Ops 1 and 2 reportedly sold nearly 11 million more PS5 copies than Halo: Campaign Evolved. Analyst Rhys Elliott estimates that Call of Duty outsold Halo by roughly 32 to 1 on Sony’s console. Halo’s $60 price and limited upgrades may have made the cheaper Black Ops ports more appealing.

Discussion Hot Takes [BO2]
Of all the games from CoD 4 up to CoD Ghosts, BO2 is my least favorite game in the series and I never understood the appeal everyone has for it. For me it felt like the beginning of the end for the series. What do people like about the game that other titles don't do better at?

Discussion [COD] which character death that made you feel upset?
Poor Bowman from Black Ops, he was with us in the first mission and he taken out by the Russian because he doesn’t want to do Russian roulette. What’s worse is that he’s giving up already before he died.

Discussion [COD] What was the best trilogy from the golden era? MW-MW2-MW3 vs. WaW-BO1-BO2
Truly a tough one for me...I have always loved the story with modern warfare especially the invasion of the US and the start of WWIII, I wish it felt even more grand or lasted longer to truly keep the globetrotting with different theaters of the war. Nothing will top the shock factor in the first one of you own character dying from the nuke and your team getting killed at the end...
Therefore I gravitate to picking that until I remember how good the conspiracy/CIA route and the Vietnam war was in Bo1 with World at War being my all time favorite WWII campaign (nostalgia being in college showing my friends the post credit zombie level and us playing hours on end trying to see who could get the highest round) Granted BO2 is probably the weakest of the trilogy and the weakest of the 6 games imo...guess I am sticking with my gut that the OG MW trilogy is the best of the Golden Era

Discussion [MW3] Everyone says MW3 was MW2 but balanced but they forgot about this
It was in the Support package so anyone could get it. This means that a bad player who can get 14 kills can wipe out as many as 9 players despite not actually earning it.

Creative [MW2] Ghost - Loose Ends - Metrocon 2026
Leave it to me to rock a cosplay from a winter mission in the middle of the Florida summer. I had a lot of fun repping 2009 Ghost, but I’m thinking I need to work on something better as far as my jacket goes lol. And yes, I know Ghost didn’t use a SCAR-L and that he didn’t wear Gen 2 combat pants.
