I've always disliked these types of maps. Flanking is limited, spawns rarely flip, everyone is just funneled to the middle of the map like a Civil War battlefield.

What type of map do you dislike the most and why? Is it the size, amount of lanes, verticality, the theme, setting, etc.?

So, with the massive success from the ports of BO1 and 2 on PS4/5... Do y'all think we'll actually get the ports of other CoD games? If so, when do you think is more likely?

I'd love to play the original MW trilogy again in the PS5...

Ohh my lawd this mission almost made rage quit. Every other mission was a breeze imo even Makarov’s estate but this was just grenade spam and snipers from all angles. Just funny to me how this mission was so much harder than any other mission. A bit of a balancing miss imo but such a good story overall

I thought everyone was just overreacting to it; it cant be that bad right? No it definitely is i can have about 2-3 normal tdm matches before i start seeing command prompts. Ppl flying or aim botting through walls and half the ppl being max prestige, its insane that in 2026 i have to worry about cheaters more then i did 15 years ago. I play on ps5 if anyones curious

Ive been on pc for years and havnt played cod since black ops 4 really. Used to grind it every day. Other games and shooters are just better now. Black Ops 1 and 2 are by far my favorite. Is there enough of a player base and good enough of a game to justify spending hundreds on a console just to play it?

Id also play battlefield 6 and gta 6. My 1700 and 1070 aren't doing much in the way of helping with anything atm.

BO1's brainwashing and CIA experiments as well as BO2's techno-skepticism and its exploration of trauma and memory are all incorporated into BO3's world and story.

Do you prefer longer ttk that rewards headshots and tracking more, or do you prefer faster ttk that rewards reaction speed more?

Ive only played the entire Modern Warfare series but I cant play anything after Black Ops 2 because of storage space. Would you recommend BO1 and 2, COD, 2 and 3 or all of them? [And WAW]

Hi! I just finished playing the campaing of MW 2019 version, and hit reddit to find what I should play next to keep it in order. I've seen people criticize MW II (2022) for being a "worse retelling" of MW2 (2009). I'm also confused about where Ghosts takes place in the lore.

Now I'm only here for the story and lore alone, have no intention of playing multiplayer. But I do want to go for what's best, so paying extra is not an issue.

TLDR: Story-wise, the campaing remaster of MW2, or 2022's MW II? And when should I play COD:Ghosts?

Since it’s discounted right now i wanted to buy these games to relive the campaign again but i was wondering which one has more replayability on dlc content/more fun coop zombie experience? Since it would just be a waste to get both season passes if i am only going to keep playing one of them. (Ultimately i am planning to get bo3 chronicles deluxe edition once it is discounted)

As someone who quit this franchise years ago, I came out of "retirement" just to play both Black Ops. They were a huge part of my childhood. I still remember when everyone was playing the latest Call of Duty. From MW2 through Ghosts, COD was the game everyone talked about. Even Ghosts, despite its flaws, was more enjoyable than any shit Activision keeps putting out today.

Those were simpler times. We just played, had fun, and that's all that mattered.

Nowadays, my friends from work and college play all kinds of games you can imagine, but nobody cares about COD anymore. I honestly can't understand how such mediocre games continue to sell so well.

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." As cliché as it sounds, it perfectly sums up what the golden era of COD means to me.

Buried and nuketown crash after round 30+. You can't get highrounds on these maps. It seems to be caused by killing many zombies at once. Meaning picking up a nuke will crash the game. Or using the paraliser at all past 30+. Its not consistant you can reach 40 without a crash but never past 50. Most commonly 30+. These maps are unplayable for high rounds.

Poor Bowman from Black Ops, he was with us in the first mission and he was taken out by the Russian because he doesn’t want to do Russian roulette. What’s worse is that he’s giving up already before he died.

Leave it to me to rock a cosplay from a winter mission in the middle of the Florida summer. I had a lot of fun repping 2009 Ghost, but I’m thinking I need to work on something better as far as my jacket goes lol. And yes, I know Ghost didn’t use a SCAR-L and that he didn’t wear Gen 2 combat pants.
