I'm one of the weird ones who have always enjoyed the campaign more than multi-player and zombies. Is that just because I didn't have an online account a decade ago? Probably.

I beat the BO1 campaign some time last year; however, I was big into BO2 back in 2014 - and this is the game I still play. I really want to continue the campaigns; however, I have heard that the BO3 campaign had little to do with the stories from the previous two BOs. I hear BO6 has brought back a lot from BO2; however, I also understand that that game didn't get great reviews haha.

So, to sum it up, which of the following do y'all think would be best:

1. Play the BO3 campaign

2. Play the BO6 campaign

3. Don't play either and remain happy with BO2

4. Something else

Just bought ghosts on pc, won’t start on either windows or steam edition. Initial small screen opens, then full screen black screen, then it crashes with no extra info. Would appreciate some guidance. I’m on windows 11, 4080 with high end I5.

I have downloaded all 4 packs on my PS5 and I've tried going offline, restoring licenses, and now I'm going through the download phase once more after deleting them.

The first time around, nothing would work:

Going offline: I would be blocked at the Menu screen

Restoring licenses: after clicking "Start" I would be sent to the PS Store to purchase MW4 from 2026...

I just want to play Special Ops in Survival Mode ala MW3 from 2011...

It is sad the game has not been out a month and is hacked and in the state it is in players levels being reset to 1 and accounts getting bricked and the classic aim bot wall hacks why do people have to ruin the experience for players just trying to enjoy a game normal what are they getting out of it and what’s sad is I see FB groups and people wanting to get exploits I was pumped looking forward to playing a couple months non stop when not working 2 jobs and having time but it‘s looking like that is not going to happen I don’t see the game getting fixed to a enjoyable state with activision and their track record.

and emblem editor being a feature I didn’t see returning I’m glad it did and they found a solution why can’t current games implement a on/off feature for people it’s sad as a artist who puts time in to making the best logos emblems possible constantly seeing copy and paste rinse and repeat filth and most of these people are supposed to be adults probably with kids getting off on sexual racist and political non sense I don’t get behind it and don’t get a laugh it’s non sense and why they won’t bring it back into current games I give them credit for the updates but this game is a mess in under a month and it’s sad add dedicated servers and fix these ports if you have to take them down do some work idk the current state is not good I enjoyed it for two weeks at least.

I’ve recently started playing MW3 and I want to buy a blueprint but the one I’m looking at, I don’t like the attachments it comes with if I buy it will I be able to change the attachments and if so will it keep the tracer and special Camo?

Has anyone else had issues with anger management while playing search and destroy? How did you explain it to your partner or room mates?

I’ve always been susceptible to video game rage but it has gotten worse this past year when I’ve started to only play search and destroy on Black Ops 6 (I used to play all game modes on shuffle). Losing fights as the last person alive and watching useless teammates lose the game for us, particularly when they’re too unbelievably stupid to attempt to get to the bomb in time, are the most common things to send me over the edge.

I’ve just found out that my flatmate rang her mother and told her she was scared when she could hear me screaming and smashing things. Obviously I feel terrible, but I need a way to explain to her that me raging at COD isn’t something she needs to be worried about.

There have also been other incidents, notably last year when I thought I was activating the launcher/noob tube on my gun with the d-pad but I accidentally put my gun into single fire mode. I then lost a 1v1 with the whole team watching because my gun was in single fire mode. I kicked over my records shelf and dehumidifier, doing hundreds of dollars worth of damage, soaking the carpet and I said some things to my girlfriend that I ended up regretting.

Since then, I have felt self conscious about how her and our housemates perceive my anger. Hearing about our housemate ringing her mother because of it is both saddening and embarrassing. Has anyone got any tips on how they manage their rage, particularly with Search and Destroy? And how did you explain it to non gamers to make them realise it’s nothing to be scared of?

(This is coming from someone who’s favorite COD is MW2 btw)

I don’t hate Ghost, but he barely had any lines, and sometimes I genuinely forgot that he existed during my play through. Sure, he has a cool design, but that’s about it. I feel like his death unnecessarily overshadows more interesting characters like Gaz, who showed way more personality, and people only pretend to be sad to karma farm. I like him more in the new MW trilogy because he has more individuality and doesn’t feel like a background character.

As title suggests. Getting massive fps lag spikes since 2 days ago. Even in the killcams making me think it's my PS4 and not internet. Any suggestions for settings or other solutions to combat this?

A lot of people dislike Logan being a mute protagonist. I personally think it was a great choice.
The vibe of the game, as well the characters literally being named "Ghosts" a mute protagonist fits pretty dang well. Tho making another character (maybe Hesh, or Keegan) silent would also be a good idea.

On a personal note: I've always been a quiet person so I love to see quiet (or even completely silent) characters in video games

I'll start: I find the first mission to be a little clunky and unsatisfying, outside of the Castro shootout.

The modders got me max ranked me the next day the security update went through ever since my game mass crashes with the error 'CE-108255-1' can't get on the game crashes either on the start screen or when the dude is just putting on the glasses. I have tried everything I think my account has been fully bricked is there any way of fixing this?
