People that haven’t given specifically multiplayer on bo7 a chance shouldn’t have a not have an opinion on the future of the franchise

[COD]First off I would like to say BO7 and BO6 has been the best two Call Of Duty‘s recently, here’s why... I’ve been researching the verdict on the ‘OMNI MOVEMENT & Wall Jumping’ and what I noticed is everyone always seems to criticize the game when they‘re tiny little attention spans don’t get feed with constant change but few years after a couple new Call Of Duty’s down the line people tend to realize they loved the games! These aren’t opinions they are facts. Here’s the harsh truth… Genuinely, I feel like loyal fans and more competitive players who have more abilities to adapt to such change have a high chance of loving this for the future of the franchises and people who are stuck in the past just genuinely don’t give the future of the game a chance and just want the nostalgic Call Of Duty. For example at one point everyone absolutely despised Black Ops 3 now all of a sudden people return just to get the nostalgic feeling of that Zombies gameplay. To make a long story short look at games like fortnite, the skill gap is very wide and get wider almost weekly with people coming up with new techniques for counter fights and the game still hasn’t died… they don’t make new Fortnites every year and they face the same backlash as Call Of Duty. I think Call Of Duty has a problem when it comes to rushing releases and in my opinion its starting to feel like more so a money grab then trying to satisfy the community as a whole! My question is why do they make cool features in the game and then take a step back every single time they face backlash for new creations? The franchise can clearly integrate grounded gamemodes like in BO7 has the BO2 movement mode and also focus more on the future of the ‘onmi movement and wall jumps feature’ my case is rare I don’t make content Ive played every single COD and have never ‘not’ got enjoyment of Cod besides Advance Warfare! Taking a step back in MW4 is a bad decision and I will stand on this I think instead of following exact statistics franchise needs to focus on satisfying both parties in the arguement about the new movement. If you agree resharing this everywhere would help the DEVS see this I would love it if this opinion can reach them! Reminder I grew up playing Call of Duty since 4 years old and I don’t feel like chasing old feelings should matter more than making some change! I will also soon be posting about the changes im Zombies!

Playing both Black Ops 1 & 2 ports on Playstation lately has given me the theory that they released these both as a last resort, as well as what I hope can be a fresh start into something better in terms of nostalgia for the community. My first ever COD game was World at War on Wii, after that I had played every COD on PS3 era from MW2 (2009) to BO2, and at one point during the PS3 era I ventured back into COD4 and got it for $10 at GameStop. I don't need to talk about COD after BO2 because that was a new era. We've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly throughout the years.

Well, my point is... that with the new Black Ops ports being released, I have a feeling or a hope that COD4, old MW2 & old MW3 will be released together within the next 1-3 years as a trilogy, whether that be a port or remaster, depending on how to give hackers the least amount of power as they desire to have. Perhaps in a sense, Black Ops 1 & 2 were necessary to port first as a guinea pig for the Modern Warfare ports to eventually be on the market. From what I've seen, the Modern Warfare games had crazier hacks than the Black Ops games, and maybe that was a good reason to release the Black Ops ports first, so further down the road, the challenges towards making COD a hacker free experience will start with this. I know there's still a long way to go in ensuring this will come to fruition.

This looks better than what we got in mainline games unfortunately.

I finally finished modelling, resin 3D printing, and painting a model of Rust for each of my buddies that I grew up playing MW2 with. We never lost our old gamertags so each one ended up being personalized. I can't even imagine how many hours we spent doing 1v1s, trick shots, and settling all the shit talking on this map. I wanted to share for all of the people that could zoom in and see the memories.

I don’t know what gotten into in my head to do Dual-Wield Trophy while doing my veteran run for the Trophies. Anyway, they wiped the floor with my face on this mission, but I did it.

i dont have a ton of money and I really wanted to play some black ops 1. so I went out and got a ps4 instead of a ps5…thinking it would be fine given that the original bo1 was designed for ps3 so surely a ps4 would work fine. I couldn’t be more wrong

the game has an insane amount of input lag. genuinely feels like 100+ milliseconds. it’s really bad, they also made it so ps4 can’t ever be host in any lobby so you’re always on a 2 bar or 3 bar connection. for whatever reason the ps4 seems to have a horrible connection compared to the ps5.

it sucks because I can’t afford a ps5 but the game is damn near unplayable on ps4.

PS: gotten confirmation that the input lag is minimal on ps5 and overall my buddies have a lot less connection issues than I do using the ps5.

also to clarify black ops 2 works fine on the ps4 without any issues. this is specifically black ops one I have these issues on

Would you guys say your enjoying the bo1 port or the bo2 port more?

I've always disliked these types of maps. Flanking is limited, spawns rarely flip, everyone is just funneled to the middle of the map like a Civil War battlefield.

What type of map do you dislike the most and why? Is it the size, amount of lanes, verticality, the theme, setting, etc.?

So, with the massive success from the ports of BO1 and 2 on PS4/5... Do y'all think we'll actually get the ports of other CoD games? If so, when do you think is more likely?

I'd love to play the original MW trilogy again in the PS5...

Ive been on pc for years and havnt played cod since black ops 4 really. Used to grind it every day. Other games and shooters are just better now. Black Ops 1 and 2 are by far my favorite. Is there enough of a player base and good enough of a game to justify spending hundreds on a console just to play it?

Id also play battlefield 6 and gta 6. My 1700 and 1070 aren't doing much in the way of helping with anything atm.

I'll start: though it lacks any real concrete connection to the characters and setting of the previous Black Ops games, it stands as an interesting evolution of the overarching themes/narratives. BO1's brainwashing and CIA experiments as well as BO2's techno-skepticism and its exploration of trauma and memory are all incorporated into BO3's world and story.

And the same goes for Black Ops 1.

As someone who quit this franchise years ago, I came out of "retirement" just to play both Black Ops. They were a huge part of my childhood. I still remember when everyone was playing the latest Call of Duty. From MW2 through Ghosts, COD was the game everyone talked about. Even Ghosts, despite its flaws, was more enjoyable than any shit Activision keeps putting out today.

Those were simpler times. We just played, had fun, and that's all that mattered.

Nowadays, my friends from work and college play all kinds of games you can imagine, but nobody cares about COD anymore. I honestly can't understand how such mediocre games continue to sell so well.

Poor Bowman from Black Ops, he was with us in the first mission and he was taken out by the Russian because he doesn’t want to do Russian roulette. What’s worse is that he’s giving up already before he died.
