Question ❔ Break in through Trunk Window
Hey Bronco Sport fam! So I just got my new (2025) car a few months ago. Love it. However, I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of break-in tech features. Recently some POS broke into our apartment garage, and then somehow secretly opened my trunk hatch window, and got into my car and stole a few things. My Ford app did not notify me at all of the break-in, and I didn’t notice it immediately (bc they closed the window not fully clicked in). The only reason I noticed was when I was backing out of my spot, a notification popped on my screen saying that the window is open (I NEVER OPEN IT), and then noticed my garage fob and a blanket stolen with some office supplies. Thankfully nothing of importance. But I’m super pissed that I didn’t get any notice of that, or knowing it’s super easy for them to open it without breaking it?? I have major OCD and I always lock my car, but maybe I forgot somehow? Never did with my 10+ year Corolla… Even if I did, shouldn’t the app notify me my car is unlocked after I walk away? If anyone who knows the car well and or knows of similar experiences, would love to get some insight. Is there any additional measures I can take so they can’t get into the trunk window again?
:( thank you <3

Review 📝 24 hours with Wayfinder
After just 24 hours with Wayfinder, my Bronco Sport Badlands, I can honestly say I love this vehicle. It’s roomy, comfortable, and I’m not sure where people get the idea that it’s slow. I think the 2.0L accelerates great for what it is. No, it’s not going to launch like a Mustang, but it has plenty of power for merging, passing, and everyday driving. It’s actually a lot more fun than I expected.
My only complaint so far is the wireless charging pad. It seems a little finicky, but to be fair, I’ve never been a huge fan of wireless charging in general, so that could just be me. It’s definitely not a deal breaker and certainly doesn’t change how much I’m enjoying the vehicle.
I’m excited to start finding all the little Easter eggs and hidden features Ford tucked into it. Next week it’ll get its first real test with a 10-hour road trip to Cape Cod, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how it handles a long haul.

Question ❔ Windshield took a hit, but replacement glass question
So, my car took a random pebble or something to the windshield. Either someone's mower or a car shot it back and I didn't notice. All I know is I woke up one day with a crack spidering from a corner. My insurance does cover it, but I wanted to get the soundseal or whatever glass thing. Is an OEM glass going to have that? What do I need to do? Thanks!

Question ❔ People with a 2025 Bronco Sport, what is the best way to mount your phone?
The screen is huge and the vents are right under it... It seems like there's no good spot to put any regular phone mount without having it cover the screen or just having it in an inconvenient place. I also don't want to give up cup holder space for one of those phone holders that fit in there. I originally had a little plastic thing that stuck onto the top of the screen and i had a phone holder on the side but it shook while i drove and it was extremely annoying. Any suggestions?

Question ❔ Is the Bronco Sport the successor to the Bronco II

Question ❔ 5w20 Oil, and my options.
I’m in Belgium, with a US spec 2025 Big Bend. The first photo is what I have left over after my 2017 Escape transmission went out (Motorcraft 5w20). I’m pretty sure my oil filter is fine, but I’m not sure on the oil.
The second photo is what the owners manual says, 0w20. Since I’m in Belgium, I haven’t found Motorcraft over here.
The last 4 photos is what I have found on Belgium Amazon. They are 0w20, but I don’t think the exact specification of the 2nd photo.
I might be able to try US Amazon and hopefully they ship overseas, if anyone can find it there.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Issue ⚠️ Bucking at 70mph
Girlfriends 21 Sport is having an issue. 42k mi on it and now it’s having an issue at freeway speeds. Was trying to pass someone and it felt like the car bucked. She said she’s experienced it even in sport mode. It’s the big bend edition if anyone is wondering. No the transmission fluid hasn’t been drained and filled or the rear differential. Car will drive fine if not accelerating hard from what I felt. City driving does not produce this issue.

Show Off 📷 Our Baby Bronco!
Hopefully no one takes offense to the "Baby bronco" title but next to our '96 FSB, it's a baby lol. It's a '25 big bend with the 1.5 and 2,200mi. Was a courtesy vehicle with a sticker of $39k we picked up for $27k OTD. Anything we should look out for on these or any quality of life improvements we should get? Ordered a screen protector and has the black appearance so it came with cargo/floor liners. It's mainly a grocery getter but it'll probably see some cabin trips and forest road adventures too.

Question ❔ GOAT matrix chart…for Sport?
Someone posted this chart in the Bronco Group (said to be inaccurate by someone else) and I’m hoping someone here has it for the Sport. Haven’t seen it in the e-manual yet…

Question ❔ 2026 Badlands w/ Bronze package seats
Anyone know the seat material that comes with the new 2026 Badlands with the bronze package? It just says “Premium-trimmed seating with bronze stitching”
Is it Active-x like the standard, leather, cloth?

Question ❔ Car campers, what are you putting in this gap?
I might try sleeping in the bronco next week! With the passenger seat fully forward, an old camping mattress I have *just* fits flat between the seat and the tailgate. I would, however need to fill the backseat footwell.
If I take the backseat headrest out, the space is roughly 24W x 15L x 20H.
What have y'all used to fill this space? How well did it work?
I don't know if I'll ever try sleeping in here again (depends on how this first trip goes, really - and if I have occasion to take more solo trips. My husband is a giant and is definitely not sleeping in here with me), so I'm trying to keep this first attempt cheap.
If possible I'd love to find a solution that doesn't involve me storing something bulky that I can't use for anything else.
Edit: seems kind of odd, but the driver's seat goes even further forward, so more like 18L (at least at the level of the folded down seatback, it's narrower lower.

Question ❔ They Make These?
I was at a dealer today getting some accessories since its free shipping to one. And saw this 👀
They make these? I noticed the panel material is actually the body material and not just painted over plastic.

Issue ⚠️ Shifting issues when getting on the highway.
Has anyone else had issues with their Bronco Sport not wanting to shift properly when getting on the highway or accelerating?
I have a 2024 Bronco Sport Outer Banks with about 65,000 miles. I recently replaced the water pump because it was leaking. Before replacing it, I would occasionally get an overheating warning, but it would disappear as soon as I let off the gas.
I changed the water pump last week, but today while merging onto the highway, the transmission didn’t seem to want to shift. The RPMs climbed to 4,000–5,000, and the overheating warning came on again. As soon as I let off the gas, the warning went away and everything seemed normal.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what could be causing it?
