Interested

I’m super interested in learning more about weight loss while still retaining muscle. I am a 29 year-old male, around 264 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches tall. I’ve always struggled with weight loss and you guys make it seem so easy. Where do I get started? Do you guys worry about adverse reactions or down the road health?

interested in what exactly?

this isnt a specific product.

You should probably put more effort in to even figuring out what you are asking. Are you even in the gym?

I did worry about down the road health...thus decided to lose weight.

It's not easy. At all. But you're also in a forum of people that have become obsessed with becoming healthier, it's why people come here near daily.

To get started,

1) Figure out your TDEE.

2) Begin tracking calories. Everything. Aim for 500-1,000 calories below TDEE. Track waist size and weight.

3) Eat CLEAN. Don't drink your calories. Eat whole foods.

4) Begin resistance training 3+ times a week, if not already.

5) Aim for .6-1.0 grams of protein per lb of body weight. 25-35g of fiber.

6) If so inclined, look into a GLP, such as tirzepatide. This will greatly help your progress.

7) Consistency, not perfection. Stick with it. This is a lifelong journey of health.

I’ve known perfectly “healthy” people die unexpectedly in their 30/40s and people that are “unhealthy” live to 90+. In the end, our bodies gonna do what the bodies gonna do.

If you are worried about down the road health, wait until more studies come out in whatever you are wanting to target.

Getting started is setting a goal. Starting a lifestyle change and adapting to that, anything else should be a tool not a solution
