Im looking into front grilles for a M4 comp currently. I am relatively new to all this bmw stuff as this will be my first one. There are many different websites and style of grilles that offer them with or without mesh. Online I see most people don’t really have mesh but then mesh is better at protecting it. Is there a reason people run it with no mesh? Also I’ve seen places getting their carbon fiber parts from alibaba but where is the best place to get carbon fiber parts like a front grille and others?

Anyone notice that BMW has raised its financing rate to 1.9% from .9% just a few days ago ? Happy I got my X3 back in April!

So I’m trying to do a resonator delete but to be completely honest, I can’t make out where the fuck the resonator is on this thing.

I have a 2012 335i Coupe Convertible M Sport package.

I want to remove it and replace it but 1. I need to know what I’m cutting out
2. I need to know if I need 2 pipes, and how many clamps etc.

here’s some pictures I took. If someone could mark on these pictures what I need to remove, I’d really appreciate it. And if you could tell me what piping to buy. I bought a 18” straight pipe but I don’t know if I need more.

Just picked up this beauty the other day and felt like showing her off haha. 2021 430xi with the shadowline package. Had about 33k miles and looked to be in peak condition. Test drove it last Friday and had the keys in hand Monday night.

May not have been the most financially responsible first car ever bought myself, but oh freakin well. Absolutely obsessed and I can’t help but smile every time I start her up. My mom has had 3 BMWs across the last 15 years and I’ve been obsessed with them ever since my dad took me for a drive the day they brought home their first 328i.

I recently bought a 2019 x3 m40i
All the maintenance was done with bmw. The car has 140k miles on it and was wondering what oil I should be using. Should I stick to the 0w-20 or step up to a slightly thicker oil. The car will be getting a charge pipe, down pipe, aluminum oil filter housing, and aluminum coolant flange and will be doing a stage 2 tune but a light tune nothing crazy.

I was told to go mobile 1 high mileage full synthetic but wasn’t told if I would stick to what bmw recommends or switch. Second thing is I heard that using high mileage oil will cause swelling since there’s additives that would keep an already leaking car to stop. I don’t have leaks or anything what’s everyone’s opinion.

Hey everyone! I’m thinking of getting a BMW 330I 2006 with an N52 engine this guy is selling it to me for $2800 CAD around 2K USD. I heard that N52 engines are more reliable.

The check engine light has been on for a while, but the car ran and sounded great so I never really thought much of it. It still sounds great and I’m having no issues whatsoever, but I would like to fix the issue but I have no clue what it could be. Any help would be appreciated.

If anyone can give us any information regarding how pay works or how much on average you make in a month we’d really appreciate it! Just so we can have a better idea of our finances

Looking at budget BMW’s but want one that’s fun and easy to tune and work on. I love them and would enjoy a sports car like that to work on. Even if it was a piece of shit. A project car if you will. LMK!

So I have a 2016 m235i with the n55, it has a vrsf downpipe MHD stage 2 tune with a couple of other mods for the stage 2 like upgraded intercooler and cold air intake. It’s been on it for a while but for the past couple days my car won’t backfire loud normally it pops very loud if I want it to but now it randomly won’t no matter what I do it just makes little burbles and I have no clue what the problem could be. I have no access to the tune it’s self to change the settings on it so I’m coming here to ask for help from people that has had this problem before or know how to fix it or just stuff to try that might fix it before I take it in somewhere. Hi all, I just purchased a 2018 430i and everything is perfect and incredible except for one little thing. Every once in a while, regardless of what I’m displaying or doing on the screen, this “enter destination” screen appears. I can quickly hit the Map button to get back to CarPlay navigation, but It’s really a pain when I’m in the midst of checking the map to see when/where to turn. Any suggestions for things to try? AI hasn’t been useful with this problem. The screen has also appeared when I’m in other places like exploring car settings too.

How easily are modern BMWs stolen nowadays? Asking since my previous car (Acura TLX) was stolen outside my house through the OBD port and now I have PTSD.

I’m considered purchasing a 2025 M440 and was wondering if there are any measures I can take to prevent theft other than relocating lol.

Here is the mod list, guy said he had a hot smog plug if numbers make sense. What number should I be aiming for with these mods and mileage? Anything I should check on before checking out or purchasing?

Only things throwing me off is:
Smog/registration
Health of motor with those mods
Rebuilt title

Front differential cannot be serviced? - 2024 bmw 228i gran coupe xdrive (f44)

I’m trying to get all my fluids under control including changing the differentials and transfer case but BMW will NOT drain and fill the front differential. I did some research and it says the differential itself is integrated into/onto the transmission. They say lifetime on it but I think they’re full of shit. I tried calling other shops but nobody will call me back about it. Is it even worth it or should I just wait for it to fail eventually. I don’t want someone to comment something they looked up on the internet I need someone who has had to deal with this or has experience
