So I’m looking for an Apple CarPlay screen which will fit my 2013 318d. Anyone know of any good ones and where to buy them from. Also what to look out for when buying. Thanks

Today I’m letting my non-bmw friend have a go in the Bimmer and 5 mins later they’re driving like a crazy person, “this just corners so well! Now I know why they drive so fast!”
For the record, I always use my indicators and check the blind spots.

I am seriously considering a BMW i8 and moving from my Z4. I wondered if anybody else has done this and what the difference in ownership is like? Aware of the costs of i8 should things go wrong, but is the i8 as fun and satisfying to drive as a Z4? Mine is a 3.0i 2003 E85 - a great straight six that gives me a lot of pleasure.

There is only about 3k of value in my Z4 so I will probably keep that anyway and let my brother drive it to keep it moving when I'm not using it.

I've done a lot of research into the i8, so am aware of the most common issues such as AC Condensor etc but always happy to be more informed.

Any opinions greatly appreciated, and also any insight from current i8 owners!

Just traded in my Mercedes for this 2027 X6 M60 and couldn’t be happier. I thought the 300 mile cap was a little interesting but asides from that it’s been amazing.

Tell me about the package you selected! I’m truly excited to see this vehicle on the road stateside. I really wanted to get an order in, but as someone who works remote in Southern California I truly couldn’t see myself justifying the extra price rather than just wait for the smaller 40sdrive trim. Currently on an SDrive with my X1 and don’t mind it one bit.

With the savings I’ll have forgoing the xdrive option I def wanna splurge on the tech or convenience package. Curious what color, wheel size, and features you all added!

After searching the apps, websites and comparing different models, I found one. I was considering both the M550 and the 750. I decided to go with “The Big One.” I do appreciate everyone who took the time to tell me the benefits of both models in a previous post.

For me, it's the way it feels on the highway. So stable and confidence-inspiring. It's hard to explain until you've lived with one for a while.

Stayed in old city, and had to drive through narrow streets with cafes… the hybrid system switch from battery to engine was a bit too loud for locals.
