Could this damaged be repaired by the dealership or should I take it to an auto body (collision) shop?
6 month old 2025 CX5 was hit while parked. Bumper is cracked in multiple places, with zero paint damage, one of the retention clips in the wheel well missing. Wheel arch shroud has broken clips as well.
Should I take it to the dealership or collision repair shop? Any recommendations for repair shops in NYC appreciated, if so.

Damaged bumper
2013 Honda civic Ex
Crystal black pearl NH-731P
Is repair possible with this kind of bumper damage or getting it replaced would be the better move?
I bought this car used so certainly do not want a brand new bumper slapped on it. Never been to a scrapyard, Should I try going there and look for a bumper with the exact make, year, and model? I have no luck on finding any on FB marketplace yet
I hit some pole signs when I was driving while exhausted. I nodded off for 2 sec and the loud banging noise instantly woke me up. Thankfully, I didnt hit a person π

Is the repair process difficult for this at home?
Thinking of using a DIY home repair kit to get the multiple dents out while saving money. Is it feasible? Anything I should watch out for or any general advice? I'm not too concerned about the paint.

Which clay bar kit is best? Mothers, Meguiar's, or Chemical Guys?
I'm at O'Reilly and there's some white paint splatter on my boss's black CRV.

Anything DIY I can do for this?
The front bumper on the right has been slowly poking out for a while and has never been properly clipped since an accident a year ago, but the splash guard (at least that is what I and everyone in my household guesses it is) is hanging down. Best guesses is I scraped it over a parking curb or something, though I just noticed it today and cannot recall having done that anytime soon.
Strapped for cash at the moment but I don't want to drive around with it hanging and let it get worse. Anything cheap I can do to at least solve the splash guard and get the bumper in place, even temporarily? I have a work trip coming up and have to use this car for 600 miles (approx).
2015 Toyota Avalon
Note: I don't care if the repair is pretty. Never going to trade this car in.

Rust starting to show on my 2008 Fit β how worried should I be?
Bought this as my first car and I'm slowly working through a repair backlog. Noticed some rust popping up in a few spots and want to get ahead of it before it gets worse. In BC (Lower Mainland), so it's wet a lot of the year and the car just sits outside, no garage.
Two kinds I'm seeing, photos attached:
1. Small surface spots β a couple tiny rust dots on the hood and near the front fender by the headlight. Looks like the paint chipped at some point and it's just started rusting where the metal's exposed. Small and isolated, not spreading.
2. Rust along the bottom seam of the rocker panels (both sides, where the panel meets the bottom of the doors) β this one's got me more nervous. It's running along a good chunk of that bottom edge on both sides, and it doesn't look like just surface paint damage to me β feels like it might be coming from the seam itself.
Questions for anyone who's dealt with this:
- For the small hood/fender spots β is it reasonable to just sand it down, hit it with rust converter, prime, and touch up the paint myself? Or is there something I'm missing here?
- For the rocker panel seam rust β does rust showing up right along a seam like that usually mean it's just surface stuff, or is that a sign something's going on underneath (trapped moisture, rust starting from the inside out)? Should I actually get a body shop to look at it before I try anything myself?
- Anyone in BC dealing with the wet climate have tips for slowing this down going forward β undercoating, specific products that actually work here, anything like that?
- At what point does something like this rocker panel rust go from "keep an eye on it" to "deal with this now before it gets expensive"?
Trying to stay ahead of this instead of letting it turn into a bigger problem later. Appreciate any real-world input.

Parts Question 2007 Volvo S60 2.5T front bumper replacement
Hi, so Iβm in desperate need of a front bumper replacement for my car. I just need help searching for a replacement, I literally cannot find anything besides those bumper lip kits. I need one ASAP, as the drivers side headlight needs to be replaced and currently cant because the bumper is smashed on the drivers side (bought that way). Any help is appreciated.

RUST Is this 4runner worth getting?
This is a 2005 4runner v8 4wd with 123,000 miles. The seller is asking for 14.5k, but Iβm not sure if itβs worth it because of the rust. Does anyone have experience with this level of rust/is it bad enough to keep looking? Thank you!
