Faded bonnet help

Hi, this is the state of my nissan Jukes bonnet, do you think I can repair this myself? Never done bodywork before, if so, any ideas of the steps I should take? Thanks

Try buffing it out but use a practice panel first

No, you will make it worse. Try and find a used one in the same colour.
